Political offender classification: Class 4

Penalty for class 4 offenses stated in law documents as “maximal social protection measure"; most people read that as “execution by firing squad”

The whole existence of class 4 use is hidden from the general public. The EESU government actively perpetuates the death penalty myth.

Class 4 offenders are officially pronounced dead, missing or executed depending on what the state deems more convenient or effective. It can be all from enforced disappearances to fake police investigations to public mock executions.

Common terms used for class 4 offenders  are “subjects”, “biological assets”, “special testing equipment” or “human material”.

Offenses: 

Any class 3 offense committed during martial law time 

Political (anti-government) media public supply 

Opposing political party formation 

Deliberate production and/or supply of media broadcasting devices for anti-socialist agitation or propaganda purposes 

Deliberate acts of anti-government propaganda in public or/and during political unrest 

Organized and/or public display of contribution to the enemy states or regimes  

Leaking or disclosure of top secret information 

Illegal border crossing to an enemy state by a military or State Security personnel 

Organized political sabotage 

Political terrorism 

Espionage 

Treason 

Penalties: 

In case of class 4 the word “penalty” becomes meaningless

They’re not punished, just used for the state’s progress

Protection status: 

Due to absence of human status any constitutional rights or protections cannot be applied 

Further restrictions: 

 Can only be kept in places and facilities suitable for working with class 4 human material 

Life prospects: 

Most class 4 subjects’ lives end either at the vivisection table or testing site. “Outlived his usefulness” is often a common cause.

I was wondering if you could do some headcanons about King Dice x Depressed!Reader? How he reacts to their slumping around, mood swings, inability to focus, overall inexplicable sadness, etc.

A/N: honestly I think this might be the easiest fic for me to write bc my doctors all point to me and say "depressed" but I didn't take my meds and now i actually feel like i need them. Anyways sorry if this ends up being short! my mind is a bit on the fuzzy side :P

Where do i even begin, ive stated multiple times that KD is usually a very busy man, or at least likes to keep himself busy. So he doesn't really pick up until the Devil laid him off.

It started with noting your mood swings, they weren't like your usual ones, they were more intense than usual, to the point where small things made you crumble and break down to a silently crying mess.

Next came you mind fog, even if you were both out doing something you typically enjoyed, you mentally stopped being there for hours on end. At this point in time he began to keep a closer eye on you.

He did everything in his power but he couldn't figure out why his baby doll, his sugar, was always so sad and upset. He hated that you were in bed for days on end and struggled with simple tasks.

Eventually one day when you were having an ok day, he finally convinced you to see someone.

First it was the doctor, he sat outside as you took the little depression quiz they give you as you wait as to not sway your answers so you could lie and say ‘im fine’ once again.

The doctor prescribed you some anti-depressants, at first you didn't want to take them, especially with a past experience o it making your heart beat so fast it freaked you out. But with KD’s gentle encouragement you began to take the starter dosage.

“Im not gonna let anything bad happen to ya Baby doll.”

The med’s helped slightly, and it was trial and error when it came to certain brands, but when you found one that you could take along side therapy things did get slightly better.

Soon you found yourself able to start doing small things, such as brushing your teeth at least once a day, etc.

KD didnt want to treat you like a child, especially with the stigma around mental health, but if you do better with a reward system then by golly he’s gonna set one up for you.

Every two weeks if you’ve taken your meds he takes you out for dinner, or shopping, or maybe you guys just stay in. It’s all up to what you wanna do!

He helps you alot with chores, especially on those days you struggle even with medication, havin a hard time brushing your hair? Dice is on the case with a brush and other things! Need help with your room? no need to worry Honey KD is on his way to help you tidy!

No matter how busy he is, he will always find away to help his baby doll.

What is the main lesson of your story (e.g. kindness, diversity, anti-war), and why did you choose it?

For the Millennium Saga (because Whispers doesn't have a lesson or moral really), I'd say that the main lesson/theme of it is that there's strength in diversity and kindness!! And personhood is something that should never be revoked, even for the best of the best and the worst of the worst.

I didn't actively choose that theme to be the driving force behind TMS, but considering The World Right Now and how I feel about things, it was kind of inevitable that it would end up that way.

3. What is your MC trying to achieve, and what are you, the writer, trying to achieve with them? Do you want to inspire others, teach forgiveness, help readers grow as a person?

The Millennium Saga has a few different MCs, and the story gets handed off between them at different points, but in the interest of keeping this simple I'll narrow this down to two <3

Ember is trying to give the world a better future because they care so much about everything and everyone, and as the author, they're the one representing that anyone is capable of helping others, but no one should have to do it alone.

Dusk wants to understand the world and who/what he is, and wants to connect with the people around him in much the same way. As the author, he's one (of many) examples of how people will always defy expectation and you can't make assumptions about anyone just by looking at what's on the surface or how they describe themself. (Especially because he's, narratively, a driving force of love throughout the text, and he's on the aroace spectrum and neurodivergent.)

7. Do you have any words of [encouragement] for fellow writers of Writeblr? What other writers of Tumblr do you follow?

I think the main thing I have always wanted to say for encouragement is that writing will always be there when you come back to it. You can step back for as long as you want, and it will always be there if/when you need or want it again. There's no time limit or age cap, period.

As for other writers I follow: there's. Literally too many to list (I follow >500 blogs and the majority are writeblrs, active and not) but for some people who maybe don't get shouted out as often:

Ive been playing COD since day 1. (yes im old) so it is painful to walk away now. i uninstalled the game today. no your kd wont go up..i sucked.

After what happened to Nick Mercs, i can't continue to support the game. Now that we all know ACTIVISION is part of an agenda that validates child mental and sexual abuse, how can i bring their product into my house?

There was a kerfuffle over the alleged plan of the LGBTQ community to include pedophiles in the group and add the letter P at the end of the LGBTQ acronym. Thats why when someone like Nick Mercs says "leave the children alone" they lose their shit and immediately call it "debunked rhetoric, or anti-gay propaganda. The problem is very few think that lgbqt are child predators (at least i dont) but they are something just as bad or maybe worse.

omggg I loved your explanation of those themes in kiki's delivery service, its something id never been able to articulate, and the airship being the catalyst I hadnt even thought of in that way before! my fave film, please write more about it. do you think she her relationship with ursula is about how she offers a healthy medium - someone who lives more outside of modern society but is able to move through it if need be?

thank you! I would say so. ursula lives in the forest outside the city within nature, much like how the small village kiki came from was so rural. it again brings it back to the theme of tradition and the timeless necessity of nature, which are very par for the course with studio ghibli films generally. for kiki it's a healing experience to be surrounded by the natural world when she feels at her lowest. as I said before I don't think miyazaki is outright anti-technology or modernity in KDS, but I think he wants viewers to recognise that there's something to be lost in forgetting at least the more romanticised traditions. I think there is perhaps an anti-consumerism streak in the film though.

I actually found an essay written by someone who has some similar thoughts, however unlike me they don't link emerging modernity with kiki's depression explicitly nor my personal interpretation that kiki realises the important thing she has to offer others is herself, but whilst I don't necessarily agree with their conclusion they make a lot of similar points and find great examples of these themes at work in the film. I love their point about how kiki's emphasis on hard work is in itself a traditional value.

Chinese Air Force Xian H-6N bomber launching a CH-AS-X-13 anti-ship ballistic missile over the South China Sea

China’s New Aircraft Carrier Killer Is World’s Largest Air-Launched Missile

H I Sutton sheds some light on China's latest aircraft carrier killer: The CH-AS-X-13 air-launched anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM).

Navies are racing to develop hypersonic missiles which may change the pace of naval warfare. Russia will deploy the Zircon hypersonic missile aboard warships and submarines. The US Navy has started down the path of the common hypersonic glide body (c-HGB) for its destroyers. Meanwhile China’s latest hypersonic weapon is something completely different; it is air launched.

The massive new missile, labelled CH-AS-X-13, is probably the largest air-launched missile in the world.

The missile was first reported by Ankit Panda, the Stanton Senior Fellow at the Nuclear Policy Program, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, in April 2018. More recently candid images have appeared on Chinese social media. These provide a clearer view of the novel weapon.

Analysts believe that it may be intended to target high-value warships, particularly aircraft carriers. This makes it an anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM). And it appears to be carrying a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV). This may give it extended range and increase survivability against air defenses.

The CH-AS-X-13 may be closely related to the ground based DF-21D anti-ship ballistic missile. Image analysis suggests that it has different dimensions however, so may use a different rocket motor. The most likely reason for this would be the physical restrictions imposed by carrying it under an H-6 bomber. Additionally it appears to be equipped with a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV) similar to the one seen on the DF-17 ballistic missile. Clearer images in the future may clarify this.

The DF-21D is believed to have a range in excess of 1,500 km. The CH-AS-X-13 may have a similar range, or possibly further due to the aerial launch and a hypersonic glide vehicle. Either way, being carried by a bomber will massively increase its overall reach. The H-6N version which carries it has aerial refueling to further increase their range. The CH-AS-X-13 is therefore a threat beyond the first island chain and South China Sea. It could potentially hit targets in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, or Indian Ocean.

Even if the missile has this incredible range it will face challenges reaching its full potential. Finding and tracking an aircraft carrier at extreme ranges may be the Achilles’ heel. And a lot may depend on the survivability of the bomber itself, and the number of aircraft available for the mission. Context, of course is everything.

The H-6 bomber is not limited to the CH-AS-X-15 however. It can also carry a range of anti-ship missiles. Foremost among these is the YJ-12 supersonic missile. This is similar to the Russian Kh-31 (AS-17 Krypton) missile, but significantly larger. At least four YJ-12s can be carried, meaning that a squadron of bombers could launch a saturation attack on a Carrier Battle Group. The subsonic KD-63 (also commonly referred to as the YJ-63) can also be carried.

Having anti-ship ballistic missiles may also be used to message China’s potential adversaries. On August 26 China test fired a DF-21D ASBM into the South China Sea. This was just weeks after the US Navy aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan had been exercising in the area. The CH-AS-X-13 adds another dimension to the threat to carrier battle groups, so its development alone can be seen as sending a clear message of China’s increasing military confidence.

The same thing that happened in the US in 2016 is happening for us now, we're just lucky that we're not in essentially a two party system like y'all are. People are tired of the establishment and scared due to the recent gang violence and thus are voting for the party that seems different in hopes something will change.

People forget and/or ignore that since the left got back into power the right has stopped them at every step and forced them to follow a right wing budget and go on to complain that they haven't done any of the things they promised. A lot of our issues pre pandemic and Ukrainian war also stem from the 8 years when the right were in power, but as you're probably familiar, the right loves blaming the left for their own incompetence. The leftist part have also fucked themselves and the left block over by being uncooperative until just recently. The Swedish Democrats (SD), a party formed by literal Nazis, are in regards to their worker's rights politics quite close to the Social Democrats (S) which has made it easy for many voters to switch sides. I don't have an issue with this part of SD's politics, the issues arise when it comes to ppl of colour, women, queer ppl etc. They've had openly bigoted people in their party, some of them who have proudly touted being neonazis, for most of their history they've been anti queer rights and even now when they've started accepting gay and trans ppl they still refuse to respect and acknowledge the Q in LGBTQ. They've talked about setting the limit for abortion at 12 weeks instead of the current 18 and many of their party members misogynistic.

The one saving grace with them is that they don't want to be in charge, at least not fully. They're the second biggest party in Parliament currently, but their leader has already said he doesn't wish to be stateminister (although they want a few positions in a right wing government). I'm quite sure this is because they know they do best as the opposition. As long as they're the ones criticising the people in power they look strong, but the few times they've held any level of government they've failed and at least once bankrupted the county they governed.

Then we got the other conservative party Kristdemokraterna (Christ Democrats KD) whose current leader Ebba Busch is a convicted criminal who is out on probation. She committed slander, plead guilty to it and then went out in the press and said that while she plead guilty, she believes herself innocent which I believe ended up getting her in even more trouble. Since RvW was overturned she's insisted her party isn't pro life, but many of the top ranking politicians in her party have said very much the opposite throughout the years, including her if I remember correctly. Simply put they're self righteous hypocrites, but I doubt that surprised anyone.

There's so much more fuckery and I worry about what rights we may lose and how many young men of colour will be murdered by the police in the next 4 years. We're heading into darker times and I fear for us all.

Sith Obi-wan Kenobi is the most lethal of the enemies, not because he is powerful on the force like Sidius or Vader, but because he has charm, he makes allies, his control over his own power is precise, deadly precise, he has the Jedi training integrated on his body and (depending on how far in his life he is and how canon you want to count his life of absolute misery during his padawanship) years upon years of experience that not many in the galaxy can say that they have and much less survive out of it, he was set on a pad of Infinite Sadness, and he took it, made his feelings fester and grow until one day he decided that he was done, his Fall was a surprise to everyone but himself

I love this song See, THIS is why I like the Sith Obi-Wan AU idea. I think Obi-Wan has a lot of motivation not to fall, but I also think he has a lot of potential points in his life where he could if the wrong thing happened at the wrong time. And if he did, everyone would be fucked, because ALL THESE REASONS.

I love thinking about things like always-a-Sith!Obi-Wan as a general leading the Separatists, I've read a couple good fics like that, but I also like imagining that conversation between Obi-Wan and Dooku going very differently in Attack of the Clones. If Obi-Wan was just a little more tired, or frustrated, if Dooku had focused all his attention on his grandpadawan and taken the sympathetic tack instead of dangling (true) intel because he knew Obi-Wan would never believe it...I don't know, it's a fun what-if to consider.

Hiii I’m Obi-Anon!! About the Anakin god thingy is just because he is son of the Force but you are right is closer to the anti-Christ or straight up Eldrich anomaly lol

Honestly would love to see more fics or art with Anakin as an eldritch manifestation of the Force while he's a little kid, although neither Shmi nor Obi-Wan deserves him being all creepy.

It would be very funny though if his Force powers started manifesting really hard for a short time when he was a little kid. Floating a couple inches off the floor instead of walking until Shmi asks him to stop, things like that. Just doesn't mention this to Obi-Wan or any of the other Jedi because he assumes everyone goes through the "floating instead of walking" phase.

The timing works out perfectly if Obi-Wan had a delightful evening with a lovely woman on whatever planet he and Qui-Gon visited before Naboo. And no shade to those who love them but I really don't care much at all about Satine or Korkie or especially Korkie's parentage

At this point unless they disprove it in canon I'm just embracing the madness that is Cal Kestis Kenobi.
