Looking back on 2017 and towards 2018

Just me writing down my thoughts. ^^ Mostly so I can look back on this post later down the year if I need to, and remember.

2017 was a very up and down year for me. I definitely had some issues to resolve, with myself and with other people, some of which I handled better than others.

Making this account was one of the better things I did, getting more involved with the DBZ fandom, because I always kept it close to myself. I feel like I missed out on a lot that way.

Another thing that happened that I’m really glad I did, was quitting my job at the petting zoo in July, after 10 years. Tough decision, I loved working with the animals (baby goooooooats) but it was getting far FAR too stressful and chaotic and if I had been smart (and not feeling so responsible for the place and the animals) I would’ve quit a year ago to save myself the stress lol. But yeah, I’m glad I did, I still have contact with my boss, I go over for coffee sometimes and to cuddle my animal buddies. I was there a few weeks ago and my beloved donkey buddy wouldn’t stop giving me footsies, I love her. <333

ANOTHER REALLY GOOD THING that happened was getting to know @reikoku-vegeta because BAE IT’S STILL THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO ME THIS WHOLE YEAR!!!! <3333 I think I’ve said so a hundred times by now but it’s true and I will say it a hundred times more and you’re amazing AND ILU!!!!!!! *WHEEZES* Unlimited love and hugs for you omg ;A;

Also a big shout-out to @motherish because I’m so fucking shy it’s not even funny anymore (thank you anxiety disorder >> ), but you are so nice and easy to talk to! It really doesn’t happen often that I just feel at ease so soon after meeting someone new (I can count on one hand the number of times it did happen), I usually remain a nervous wreck for quite some time and just hide it, BUT NOT THIS TIME! :D So thank you for being such a wonderful person, I have a lot of fun chatting with you. <333

Um... summer was really rough. I managed to not completely slip back into a depression which I’m very very happy for. It was touch and go for a while, especially when I had a bad reaction to these anti-depression meds I was given, but I beat that and managed to do without. It’s a slow process and I still have bad days, but I’m moving forward. ^__^

I’m not really one for New Years resolutions buuuuuuut I really want to beat this artblock rawr take better care of myself because there is a lot of room for improvement and I tend to... not care that much lol.

I want to interact more with you guys in 2018. Definitely do at least one more art give-away because that was fun! :D Maybe some trades or collabs.

And I want to start working on my original story content again and make a blog for that (or get off my ass and finish the site). I’ve been working on this story, these characters and their world for 11 years now, and it’s high time I FINALIZE it and get it out there, because it’s supposed to be something that other people can join in on if they want to. I’ve been neglecting it. NO MORE EXCUSES. *slams fist on table*

So yeah. Those are my plans for 2018! ^_^ In general I want to be a more positive person this year. No more pessimism lets go!!
