Homeboy is straight up. Completely unironically. Calling or at the very least indirectly painting poc and even jewish transfems as rapist fascists 🙃
its not the first time hes implied horrendous shit about transfems or painted us as a unique and terrible issue and it wont be the last, he just very strongly has a bone to pick with transfems and will go to whatever path of least resistance he can express that rage through. its disturbing. that ask is mainly ragebait but its funny just how completely different it is than what hes framing it as, like nothing in that ask is supporting either of those bigotries, and yet that certainly doesn’t stop him as acting like we laugh at abuse! maybe one day ill stop seeing his posts spread

One of my male coworkers said he was gonna get my feminism license revoked and I told him I would just send in a picture of my armpit hair to get reinstated and he said "anyway..." Sorry you can't handle how funny I am.

General information on Kikimoracore!
Tumblr media
Kikimoracore ( kikimora [kʲɪˈkʲimərə] + core ) - an aesthetic inspired by and closely related to gremlincore and vulture culture, but going even further in celebrating what is less accepted and less beautiful by societal norms and inviting eastern european ( namely slavic and finno-ugoric ) culture, experience and lifestyle to be interwoven into it.
Kikimora ( кикимора ) - a slavic folk creature that dwells in houses and is known to be "good" or "bad" depending on the homeowners' behavior. It is a very culturally rich character so this post will not go in depth about it, leaving this topic to another time.
Key values: embracing experiences and imagery usually deemed as "ugly" or "undeserving of attention", i.e. village/small city life, vulture culture, animals like spiders, wasps, isopods, wild rodents, bats, wildboars, etc., tabooed features like cellulite, body hair, fat, scars, acne, etc., imperfection in work, studying or art and much, much more.
Who is this aesthetic for: people who face discrimination or bullying because of their looks, interests, characteristics and/or abilities, i.e. queers, disabled and/or neurodivergent people, non-white people, people who don't fit the beauty norms, people with niche or "obscure" interests, etc. This aesthetic is for everyone who finds it interesting or relatable, no matter their gender, ethnicity, religion and other features. However, it does not and will never support discriminating and harmful views - there is no place in it for naz1, wh1te supr3macist, islamophobic, ant1s3mitic, pro-w4r, antifem, anti-queer, anti-indigenous and other garbage ideologies.
TW: This aesthetic is largely built on images of things that some might find uncomfortable, creepy or even triggering. So if you are sensitive to the following: vulture culture, any arthropods, wild animals, fungi, body hair, marks and healed scars, abandoned houses, etc. i would suggest you to not interact with kikimoracore or be mindful of what you may encounter. Every image containing potentially triggering content will come with a TW and will not use any other aesthetic hashtags except for #kikimoracore. There will never be any NSFW content, however.

Genderdae Pride Flag
Tumblr media
Genderdae: An experience of gender-fluidity that never encompasses feeling masculine (n)or feminine; a fluid gender never encompassing masculinity (n)or femininity; the gender neutral of genderfae and genderfaun.
Different from genderflor, which never encompass male or female genders, combining concepts of antifeminine/unfeminine/nonfeminine and antimasculine/unmasculine/nonmasculine genders (nofingender/nomingender, m/f-antigenders/ungenders/nongenders), instead of nofiaspec/nomiaspec (nofiagender/nomiagender, no/viagender spectrum).
Coined by anonymous (or anon’s friend/s). - AP

What annoys me
--about this culture war between the left and right regarding (what had initially been a feminist-ly perpetrated concept of) "toxic masculinity" is the fact that, from all the commentators I've seen on toxic masculinity yet, I feel that everyone has radically different understandings of its definition and how it translates to the real world. Which as you'd expect leads to a world of strawmanning and zero-progress arguments.
I mean, really.
From what I can tell, there are 4 main "definitions" of toxic masculinity-- or 4 main interpretations. Here's the cumulative list:
1) Hegemonic Masculinity Definition
The Wikipedia page on hegemonic masculinity argues that toxic masculinity is "the use of 'toxic' practices such as physical violence, which may serve to reinforce men's dominance over women in Western societies".
So there's a slew of problems with this definition. For one thing, really? "In Western societies"? Last I checked it was in the Middle East where things like honor killings and forced veiling of women were happening :/ Another thing-- violence as a means to control others is hardly a thing exclusive to males alone, and significant portions (if not most) of domestic violence can be credited to women against men.
2) Socio-cultural Negativity Definiton
This is the definition of toxic Masculinity that I used to subscribe to. Cultural and social perceptions of masculinity that, in some occasions, manifest in ways that it harms men and boys-- i.e.: being teased as "gay" or "girly" for crying or expressing emotions, or being put down for not participating in sports or being conventionally attractive/muscular or interested in conventionally masculine activities.
Toxic ideas surrounding masculinity and what men "should" be like.
And of course there would be toxic femininity too, where girls are disparaged for being masculine and are forced into feeling like they can only practice feminine roles or appearances.
3) Radicalized Masculine Characteristics Definition.
Another definition of toxic masculinity that I subscribed to, which is expounded on by Laci Green here, is the definition that conventionally masculine characteristics-- when emphasized or radicalized too much-- manifest in harmful ways. And again the converse works with toxic femininity too.
4) Conservatives'/Antifeminists' Definition
The typical conservative understanding of toxic masculinity as far as I can tell is that they think it means "masculinity is toxic in general", and obviously like any sane people they would oppose the idea of toxic masculinity if that's what they think it means. I think Steven Crowder mentioned once in a video that he believed the only actual example of toxic masculinity was cat-calling culture (and I agree that cat-calling culture is an example of Toxic Masculinity, it fits well with Laci Green's explanation of TM).
I don't think toxic masculinity is anything to do with degrading masculinity in general (masculinity in general is an excellent thing to see expressed in people and in men, and usually quite natural for men too), but there are certainly feminists out there who ardently make it seem that way. They try to paint masculinity with the same bad brush.
But yeah. That's my general two cents on it.
I think we should all just agree on a good definition of what toxic masculinity should be and just move the conversation from there.
