Would it be funny if the Try Guys still had Ariel on for videos on a regular basis, and just didn't talk about Ned when they do? Yes
Do I understand & respect all the reasons Ariel might want to distance herself from the brand as a whole? Also yes
It's bad enough to have your spouse cheat on you, but to have it happen in such a public manor must be an absolute nightmare, and I totally get it if she doesn't want to be in the public eye for the foreseeable future

I haven't posted about YouTuber drama in so long but the thing with Ned is insane
He cheated on his wife with multiple women
Alexandria from Food Babies was his side chick at work
Ned said in Zach's podcast "Guilty Pleasures" that his favorite movie was 50 Shades of Gray (I'm adding this because it's a really disgusting piece of info paired with him cheating on his wife with a co-worker)
Alex's fiance broke off their engagement (honestly, good for him)
Ariel removed "wife" from her blog
Kwesi was also doing some shit at the party where the picture of Ned and Alex together was taken and went viral on Reddit
Try Guys now have to do a massive rebrand of their entire company
They have to remove Ned legally from the company as well as buy him out so he's no longer financially involved.
More fans are coming forward about their uncomfortable encounters with Ned, which is going to lead to people questioning how much the other Try Guys knew about Ned's flirting with other woman while they were doing shows.
What's going to happen with the Try Guys more recent projects (No Recipe Road Trip) and their newest content they announce before Ned started becoming less and less prominent in videos
Food babies is done unless YB can find a new co-star
Alex was also removed from the company (quieter then Ned was, but there are tweets about her no longer returning)
With Eugene not being as active because of his own projects, the The Try Guys may need to find a replacement personality for Ned, which also means they need to hire new people in general.
You Can Sit With Us Podcast will be without Ariel (If she divorces Ned she needs to stay quiet on social so she can get full custody of the kids, if they were to talk shit about Ned or bring up the cheating that can be used against her so she gets less custody of the boys)

Maybe this is the asexual in me jumping out, but I don’t really think sex is worth jeopardizing an entire relationship for.
Especially casual sex with a co-worker.

Imagine being smug about a man cheating on his wife. No one gives a fuck if you "knew he was shady." At the end of the day, Ariel has been hurt by this. Their kids will be hurt by this. How about instead of bragging over being right about Ned, you place that energy into supporting Ariel, her kids, and the other Try Guys? I feel like that's a bit more productive, yeah?

In light of all the memes surrounding Ned's cheating scandal, I need some people who might not be in the Try Guys fandom (currently or ever) to realise that there are real people, specifically families with an emphasis on children and significant others, that are being hurt by what Ned (and Alex, but mostly Ned because he was her boss) has done. The company itself is in danger due to Ned causing bad and negative PR, which affects all employees and their families, and the remaining Try Guys are having to deal with losing a close friend of 8+ years because of something so disgusting and harmful. This is all honestly a devastating turn of events, and of course, Eugene, Keith, and Zach can articulate it better than I ever could in this video they put out just an hour or so ago; I highly recommend giving it a watch, especially since it's less than 6 minutes long

stop fucking harassing Kwesi James.
i'm seeing way too many Try Guys fans commenting shit on his social media claiming that he knew about Ned and Alexandria because of the concert video, and that that makes him "just as bad as them".
no, it fucking doesn't.
let's say he knew. we don't know what he did with that information. everyone's assuming he hid it from Ariel. you don't fucking know that. he could have told her the second he knew and then have been told to stay quiet or act normal by Ariel because she didn't want the public to know before official statements could be made. none of us know what was happening behind the scenes.
the fact is, if he had gone public with it, the same people calling him a snake and an awful friend would have turned around and complained that he was "talking about things that didn't concern him" or "airing out other people's dirty laundry", and they fucking know it.
the Try Guys, their spouses, and at least part of the crew unfollowed Ned the second the statement went up. many of them unfollowed Alexandria as well. y'know who no one unfollowed? Kwesi. in fact, some people are saying the official account followed him for the first time after the statement--although i'll say to take that one with a grain of salt, as i don't know for sure that he wasn't followed in the first place. either way, no one unfollowed him (UPDATE 10/01/22: Ariel herself unfollowed Alex today. she didn’t unfollow Kwesi.). y'know why? maybe it's because she and everyone else can acknowledge that he didn't do anything wrong. you know, the actual people involved in the situation? whose opinion matters way more than the parasocial relationshipping fans on the internet that many of you are simply bandwagoning alongside with zero critical thinking skills.
i can't stress this one enough: the Try Guys had known since labor day weekend (9/5/22). this is an objective fact, they confirmed it themselves in their "what happened." video, which was posted on 10/4/22. no one is going after them, calling them snakes, or harrassing them. the crew had to have known for at least two weeks this is an objective fact. the first video Ned was cut out of was the Chocolate Eclair video, which went up exactly two weeks before the affair was confirmed (confirmed on 9/28/22, the video was uploaded 9/14/22). there's almost no way they found out, had a meeting, decided to cut him out, and then edited him out of it all in the hours of that Wednesday before they uploaded. that means they most likely knew beforehand. but, they could have done it all in a day. that still means they'd have known for two weeks. no one is saying shit to them (UPDATE 10/02/22: Rachel was apparently at the Harry Styles concert with them. her Instagram comment sections? full of love and support. not a "snake" or a "she knew" in sight). hmmmmm, i wonder why.
i'll close this out here with something many of you aren't going to want to hear: this unnecessary vilification of Kwesi is at least partially rooted in racism. you can't handle having to blame Ned alone for his actions, so you would rather harrass a Black man for no real reason to than acknowledge that your Favorite White Guy™ fucked up.

My partner and I picked apart this Try Guys Ned Fulmer cheating scandal earlier and one thing we touched on was the “Wife Guy” aspect.
Like… Ned made it a large part of his (abysmal) personality (either drunk and acting like the frat boy he was, or stupidly competitive and cranky if he loses) but it wasn’t just him constantly SAYING that he loves his wife.
It’s the fact that he preached about the importance of communication. They held a seminar on healthy relationships at a campus. He posted his family and presented them as the perfect loving family. He profited off of his family and relationship, even made a cookbook with his wife. They were open about the fact that they’d have a coworker babysit their kid(s) for date nights.
We (meaning viewers of their content) were so informed on their relationship and private lives, we were presented what was essentially a perfect relationship, and yet…
Not only does he cheat on his wife, but ALSO he was incredibly OPEN about it, taking his EMPLOYEE on a date to a Harry Styles concert and then to the club. Making out in public. Dude couldn’t even be bothered to try to hide his actions as though he felt bad about them!
But, aside from all of this, back to the point of how he made this relationship a large part of his personality, my partner said that this actually made him feel suspicious because it felt like he was overcompensating. It felt like he lacked any personality aside for the three previous traits.
So maybe it’s not that “wife guys” are bad, but it’s that “Wife Guys” are like “nice guys” vs “Nice Guys”

I would like to note the cultural reach of the Ned Fulmer situation c a n n o t be understated. During one of my lectures today my entire WGSS class (which is 9 people) knew about the situation- including the prof (granted they are a millennial). Everyone was pitching in, dicussing the most notable Buzzfeed alums they saw crawl out of the woodworks on Twitter, funniest memes they'd seen, etc. Nonetheless diabolical the reach this seemingly niche gaggle of Buzzfeed remnants has. Absolutely off the rails diabolical.

I was literally listening to Zach Kornfeld’s other podcast without the try guys, guilty pleasures, yesterday, wondering where Zach was. He’s been missing for two episodes. Now I’m thinking this whole Ned thing has been a nightmare and because Zach’s name is on the label hes been in crisis mode with the other two try guys left. Like imagine having your wives/girlfriend having their own podcast as part of the brand and then one of you cheats on your wife.
Absolute chaos.
