daichi had noticed you were more withdrawn since you returned back from your holiday. he couldn't understand why you weren't ranting and raving like you had been leading up to it. you had been all but excited to chat away about oikinawa and soaking in the sun and beach. an island paradise getaway. long gone was the smile you had and the sparkle in your eyes, now replaced with an apprehension he couldn't understand. as the teams volleyball captain, it was his responsibility to know his team, and that of course extended to you. you may not have been a part of the karasuno volleyball team, but daichi did have a deep care for you. one he couldn't quite understand. all he knew was that it was different from the care he had for his closest friends and family. so when you were pulling away from him, it bloomed an ache that he had never felt before. your short sentences, he could deal with. what he couldn't deal with was now every time you saw him, you skittered away. through the halls, out the school gates and any time you passed him by through a classroom window. he tried to be respectful, he really did. daichi is a good guy. it didn't help that sugawara and asahi would make.. comments. they noticed how you never came around to practice anymore, and actually realised how they never spoke to you much at all since your break. tanaka and noya noticed too, and if even those two noticed something was wrong, then he'd be an idiot to ignore it. he wasn't going to ambush you, he just wanted to know why you never came around anymore to their practices like you used to, and why you always seemed to be on edge. he wanted to help you... truly he did. he knew your schedule, and was going to talk to you when the school was empty.

you had stayed back on this particular day, releasing a pent up sigh as you gathered your things and was ready to head out. you had made it to the gates when you saw daichi waiting for you, glad in his team uniform and jacket. you stopped, heart skipping a beat as you saw him standing there. it had been some time since you were able to see him like this. you quickly looked down, holding onto your bag strap and about to walk around him when he was calling out your name. it had been so long you stopped momentarily, before the sprinkler system for the grass had gone off and soaked you both instantly. you couldn't help but look down, mortified at what had happened. you tried so hard the last month so this wouldn't happen, and that daichi wouldn't find out. fate was not on your side as you ran back into the school. if you were quick enough you could make it to one of the classrooms by the door and lock it before..

you had barely made it around the corner and into the hall when you popped your tail, squealing at the impact. you tried to get up and crawl as you heard daichi behind you, yelling out your name when he turned and saw the sorry state you were in. you couldn't bear to look at him, and with nowhere to go, you just laid there on the floor, looking down at your hands with your hair covering your face. this was it. you were ready to cry once he left, but the footsteps only got closer to you. so careful and slow, as if not to spook you away. you looked up and saw daichi, now making his way in front of you, kneeling; and with a warm smile, telling you it was going to be okay, and looking back into his eyes, you knew it would be.

you tried not to let your new... predicament affect you too much. you still visited the team and helped around when you could, but you were still cautious, refusing to wash or refill the water bottles when asked. you felt terrible, but kiyoko or yachi never mentioned it, and were quite grateful regardless. you always offered to do something else, and it was never mentioned again. unluckily however, on this day, you more or less had to. yachi had to go home early and kiyoko had been away, and as the impromptu helper, you couldn't leave them. the whole team was stressed with training, and nationals, and you'd feel awful if you couldn't help at least a little. unfortunately that meant cleaning and refilling the bottles, while the team was warming up and getting ready for another day of gruelling volleyball practice. you were completely unaware of a certain handsome ace quietly offering to help, missing his small voice as he grabbed the second bag you left; your hands already full. you didn't realise until he was yelling out to the rest of the team from the court door, saying how he'd be right back. asahi was a gentle soul, and although he wanted to do more to help, he was only limited to bringing the rest of the bottles to the taps. his team needed him, and he was the ace of karasuno. he wouldn't be upstaged by the first year talent, and he would let everyone know why he was the teams ace; why he was the one they could rely on. you were so startled and shocked at asahi's voice and had carelessly turned the faucet on full blast, the splash of the water ricocheting from the elongated steel basin and onto your shirt. asahi had made his way towards you and found you on the grass, the flood of water still running. he was about to offer to help you up until he noticed the bright coloured tail behind you. he was stunned for a moment before he started freaking out, tears forming in the corner of his eyes as he bent down, worried for your wellbeing. by the way he was panicking, you were afraid he was going to faint right then and there. you had to tell him the team would be waiting for him, and thats when he seemed to calm down. you offered a sympathetic smile, not expecting this was how your secret would be exposed, and definitely not expecting asahi to be the one freaking out more than you. you were sure once you were alone it would hit you, the adrenaline pushing you forward for now. you promised you'd tell him when he was done with practice, but you couldn't have the others find out, and that seemed to placate him. he'd go back for now, but if you needed him, all you had to do was yell out and he'd come back running, and you knew he would.

a study session seemed like a good idea, and you really needed to catch up and revise for the upcoming exams, and what better study buddy than sugawara? your close, smart, and cute friend. suga had offered to host the get together at his home, his patents wouldn't be home, so you'd be able to study in peace; and so you politely agreed. it wasn't the first time you had been over to suga's house, however your heart always skipped a beat when you entered into his room. no matter how many times you did, being in such a close proximity and in the intimacy of your crushes room, how could you not be nervous? he was so sweet too, his beaming smile shining whenever you saw his face. you used to often compared him to the sun; bright, warm and radiant wherever he went, but you now thought he was more like the moon. a more muted illumination that may not be blazing, but could still shine amongst the beauty of the stars. geez, get a grip! you really need to stop simping. suga had left to get some drinks and snacks while you got out our books, ready to think of what the first item was to tackle today.

you groaned, falling onto the floor at your pathetic predicament. you really hated studying, and honestly who could blame you? you covered your eyes with your arm, procrastinating heavily for about 5 minutes before suga returned, laughing at your already defeated form. you barely took a glance, sitting up with a large sigh. although the refreshments and sugary sweets perked you up. well, you couldn't exactly focus on an empty stomach, even if it was just sugar and fats. a girl has a right to indulge a bit, right? while you took a few bites of your selected snack, you asked suga to pick, not bothering to hide the fact that you could not decide yourself and that it would be much easier if he did it himself.

suga made it seem easy, and you were actually able to follow along. he was such a good teacher. after an hour, you had to take a break before you went onto the next subject. suga had no objections, and as you were putting your papers away, you had completely missed that a couple sheets had been under your full glass. the spill landing all over your lap. you weren't able to say or respond to suga as you all but ran out of his room, leaving him confused momentarily before he went to follow you to ensure you were fine. you had made it to his bathroom, but before you could close the door you fell to the ground, tail replacing your legs. with the door half opened, suga walked in, calling out your name. you looked away as you closed your eyes. you couldn't bear to see the way he'd look at you like this. how much of a weird freak you were now. with your eyes squeezed shut, you didn't see the way suga crouched down, in awe at the mermaid, and not just any mermaid, you, in his bathroom. you felt his hand touch yours and that's when you slowly opened your eyes. his face held that smile that it always did, and your heart fluttered as it was completely and utterly for you.

you weren't sure why you agreed on coming to the beach with nishinoya. it was absolutely and perfectly, entirely and beyond stupid. there was just something about him that you couldn't say no to. was it the pout? his unwavering confidence? the determination? or maybe it was just you being unconditionally in love with him, that you had zero ability to say no. it was only for a few hours right? what could go wrong? other than the fact that any drop of water that landed on you guaranteed that you'd pop a tail within the next few seconds for any and all to see. totally not worrisome at all.

noya was enjoying a game of beach volleyball, digging and diving for the ball flawlessly, even in the sand. you fondly watched him. it had taken a little warm up to get used to the sand, but he learned quickly and was now effortlessly moving around in the sand. he was cute.

after watching him for some time, you decided you wanted to stretch your legs. standing up you made your way closer to the shore, but far enough so you knew you wouldn't get touched by the water. even if you couldn't go in it right now, didn't mean that you couldn't be near it right? add it to your idiocy tally, but you'd always had an affinity to the ocean, and being a mermaid had only seemed to increase this. you felt a constant pull towards it, and ache that made itself known when you were near, and the calls of the ocean wouldn't be ignored.

you were enjoying the small stroll, and in the moment of the breeze and salty sea air, you were glad noya had managed to coerce you into coming. you were getting further away from the crowd of people and away from their eye of vision when you heard noya call after you. you turned around smiling, explaining that you'd be back soon and wouldn't go far. you just really needed to stretch your legs. noya fell into step next to you, saying that'd had accompany you. thanking him, you both continued on at a leisurely pace, chatting about anything until noya said he wanted to swim. you weren't able to get a word in before noya excitedly ran into the shallows, unaware that his kicks sent splashes directly towards you. with his back towards you, you took a quick look to make sure the coast was clear before running and diving into the crystal clear, blue water for cover. noya heard you and stood, turning to laugh until he saw you on the banks, holding yourself up with your hands and a mermaid tail in place of where your legs should he. he was speechless, and that made you nervous. it seemed as if time stood still and you regretted everything, getting ready to swim past him snd into the horizon before he was jumping for joy, cheering and hyping himself up while he complimented you, saying how gorgeous you were and that all his fantasies had come true; thanking whatever god/s that existed for blessing him with this life and that if he was asleep he never wanted to awake. you rolled your eyes and splashed him with a smile. he then stopped and made his way to you, face serious as he held you by the shoulders as he professed his love and asked if you'd marry him. you didn't say yes to marriage, but you did say yes to a date.

although you liked tsukishima, you couldn't deny that he was the most infuriating and condescending guy you had ever met. you were not spared from his insults, and you two had a friendly banter-ship with each other. regardless of how you were, the childish nature of sticking out your tongue and saying a low hanging fruit of a joke to him was much too big a temptation. however since your... change, you began to slowly pull away. his petty words of "weirdo" or "freak" in passing, which wouldn't have hurt you previously, now festered an insecurity within you. it wasn't like you hadn't bitten back before, but you were just not in the spirit of quips or trading blows anymore.

tsukishima was able to tell quickly at how your demeanour changed. he decided to chalk it up to you having a bad day, or maybe there was something bothering you; but when you basically ignored him for an entire week? he knew there had to be more to it, but you weren't giving him much. telling him that everything was fine, and that there was nothing wrong, and that you didn't know what he was talking about. he knew you were lying, but left you be. until you started ignoring him completely.

tsukishima was quite upset.. i mean you just stopped talking to him? he wasn't even sure why it bothered him so much but it did, and he was going to confront you about it. cue seeing you at your locker at the end of school, and him making his way with yamaguchi, kageyama and hinata to volleyball practice. tsukishima didn't bother saying anything to the three, immediately just standing in front of you and demanding to know what's up with you. you were shocked to say the least, and so where his volleyball companions. yamaguchi could tell tsukishima needed some privacy, and managed to usher the chaotic duo away. you were alone now with tsukishima in the school halls, and no matter what you tried or said, tsukishima wasn't buying it. it's not like you could ever tell him the truth anyway. he would surely think much worse of you if he ever found out about your issue. you went to put one final book in your locker, but clumsy you had managed to spill the water from you bottle all over your shirt. panicked, you didn't even bother closing your locker door, quickly running and closing the door to the closet classroom you could.

tsukishima followed, reluctant to admit he was worried. why would you ever react like that? it was just water? the moment he opened the door, he saw why. you were a living mythical creature; a mermaid. tears started to form as you saw him look at you, not wanting to deal with whatever horrible thing he was going to say. before you could yell at him you heard the footsteps and voices of his friends (really one friend and two he'd barely tolerate). this was bad, and you started to hyperventilate. before it got too bad through, tsukishima took off his black team jacket and tossed it over you. you looked up confused as you saw him go outside and him telling them he's be at practice soon and to not wait up for him. that seemed to ease their troubles as their voices and footsteps receded. you gripped the jacket closer, finding a small comfort, all things considered. he came back inside, and all you could do was watch as tsukishima just sat down, back against the wall as he called you stupid for being an idiot and having this happen here because who knows who could've seen? guess he's going to have to keep a closer eye on you so it doesn't happen again.

They might have stood there watching you gravity towards their side of the bed and snuggle into their pillow.. But you can't prove it. Coming around the corner, spoon in one hand while the other one is under the spoon catching anything that might fall, you hold their chin as you let them try the food. Even if they rain down praise on everything they taste and are truly no help, you still have fun as you dance around the kitchen with them. {they also try to sneak an extra taste while they think you're not pay attention but gets caught every single time} [hinata, hanamaki,atsumu, ninshinoya, daishō] — They’ve grown to love Sundays. The idea of cleaning and listening to music with you all day ??? sooo domestic. Yall typically split the cleaning, there are no specific “rolls” per say, yall just do what yall wanna do. You are always in charge of the playlist because you are having the bestest songs ever. Don't let Let's Groove by Earth, Wind & Fire play because clean????? When let's groove playing??? Ain't no way baby. [sakusa, yachi, kita, kai, takeda] — They've always come back to you with some new bruise or cut and insist that you are the one to take care of it because you're always gentle and kiss it to make them feel better quicker. And the products you use after you're done always smell really good!! When you're done they always say “I think i've got a cut on my lip too” [hinata, kageyama, kyōtani, lev, bokuto] — You always turn the air down when you want to cuddle with them because they always claim it's too hot and you just wanna cuddle and be comfortable. You're used to the air being at 70 but their not, so here they come with with sweatpants on 2 pairs of socks a hoodie with a shirt on and a blanket on their shoulders, demanding you give up some of your body heat [goshiki, tsukishima, futakuchi, tanaka, michimya]

[aone,kenma, osamu, aran, suga] — Yall have dance battles at random ass times. R a n d o m ass times. Yall could be grocery shopping, you send him to go get something on the other isle, you'd hear a song yall both like over the intercom playing, and you immediately look towards the end of the isle to see them slide into just in time as yall start dancing towards each other, not caring who see you. [tanka, nishinoya, tendō,hanamaki,] — They see you do your skin care routine and decide that they wanna copy you because your skin is literally the softest skin he’s ever encountered. But he likes when you apply the product to his skin because their fingers are calluses from playing volleyball. Matching headband to pull you guys hair back. It's sooo cuteeeee ahh i'm in love. [oikawa, atsumu and osamu, sakusa,] — You said i love you first and freaked the absolute dogshit outta them. Frfr. baby was clutching them pearlsssss, didn't know what to say? What to do? Obviously he loves you too, more actually if you let him tell it but they are still in this state of pure shock. You would be panicking if they didn't already say it to you when you were “sleeping”. [ashai, yamamoto, yamaguchi, konoha, kita] — On the contrary they said it first … accidentally but they still said it first. Yall were probably doing so mundane shit and they was just thinking “damn i really fucking love them” except it wasnt in their head, it was definitely out loud. Out loud as in you could hear them out loud, you were shocked but said it back and continued on with what you were doing like you didn't just change their life for the better. [suga, semi, washio, iwazumi, yaku] — Now they had a whole plan set out. From the time you woke up until the time they decided it was best to say it. They act like the finna propose or sum. It's really nice you're not suspicious because it was date night. You cried or wtv, (it's not or wtv, it was that ugly cry. lip curled back, nose running, ya getting red inna face, hiccuping after every breath, they are concerned dd) anyways you eventually say it back because duh you love, like hello?? I know this man is into someone who is pretty athletic and loves sports and if he knows you can do Kickboxing? THIS MAN IS GOING TO SIMP AT YOU. His reactions definitely went 'AWOOGA!'

He is also felt a little bit relieved if you can do kickboxing because he knows you can defend yourself from any nasty people, especially creeps.

There would be a time Iwaizumi going to join your training together because I believe Iwaizumi despite he was the shortest volleyball player, he's really good at combat.

Sometimes Iwaizumi would spar together with you but since he's more talented in volleyball than in martial arts. He was only focusing on blocking rather than attacking.

Iwaizumi also often watches your training and he would be your biggest cheerleader when you are sparring against someone but also worried if you are going to end up injured.

He would also scold you if you ended up injured and call you reckless. Despite that, he's just scared and worried and he doesn't mind taking care of your bruises and wounds.

Iwaizumi sometimes would be your personal nurse and would watch out every time if you do anything stupid but he does love watching you work out.

Sometimes, his eyes were staring at the ripped muscles on your arms as you were punching the bag but once you caught him staring. He would quickly look away and act as if he had not stared at you a few seconds ago.

It was one pm in the afternoon and it was really busy inside the gym as many people were training alone or together with their trainer to build their bodies. Including the person with (H/C) hair color and (E/C) eye color which is you, with your boyfriend next to you bringing two gym bags, one for your bag and the other one is his bag.

Placing the bag down on top of the iron benches and pulling out the drink bottles, he heard some men/woman whispering but quite loudly from next to him even though those people tried to be subtle so no one could hear them. 'Who's that hot chick/dude? Wanna talk to them?' The friend of the person said.

'Sure, I have a bet. If I have his/her number you give me ten bucks," the other person smirked.

'Well, If you fail. You will be the one who gives me the then bucks if the girl/boy doesn't want to give you their number," the friend of the creep said.

Iwaizumi's eyes squinted as he sees the two-person people acting like a creep instead of trying to make themselves better whereas the gym supposes to be the place where people are supposed to be working out to make themselves stronger or healthier instead of trying to find girlfriends or boyfriend.

"Oi, Fuck off. Don't hit on my girlfriend/boyfriend," Iwaizumi stood up, crossing both of his arms and looking at them with his death stare. The two creeps flinches but tried to challenge him back "Oh yeah!? You're her/his boyfriend?" The creep stomped his foot on the floor, acting like a kid throwing tantrum.

"Oi, what the hell's going on?" You stepped up as you see Iwaizumi trying to fight two guys who were sitting next to him while putting your hands inside the boxing gloves.

"Oh, so the hotties can do boxing?" the creep with maroon tanktop eyes looked at you up and down.

"And what's it to you," You roll your eyes.

"I bet you're just a beginner. How about you and me sparring and if I win you would give me your number," the creep winks trying to put his arm around your shoulder but you dodged it away.

"First, eww don't touch me you have germs. Second, sure but if you lose from me. Give that ten bucks that you were betting on me earlier to my boyfriend-" the edge of your lips curved but it was gone in a second. Their eyes were widened, surprised to hear that from you as they did not expect you to listen their conversation before the creeps shrugs and goes inside the ring together with you.

Bonus:

And it was this time the creep knew that they are fucked up as you put your jacket away and saw the muscles of your arms but what was worrying that Iwaizumi's grin, it was obvious that Iwaizumi indirectly telling the creep he fucked up for trying to challenge his girlfriend/boyfriend before the alarm turns off and the match started.

Kyōtani Kentarō - Aoba Johsai

It is canon that Kyoutani only listens to Iwaizumi and he doesn't listen to others on the volleyball team, even to his captain, and because of that. I believe he would love having S/O who are really good at kickboxing.

He would love it if you challenge him in kickboxing, he would feel excited, especially sparring with his S/O which is you. But he won't get too hard on you since he doesn't want to hurt you.

Sometimes he would listen to his teammates or other people talking about how badass you are and he is super proud of that. Sometimes he would be even mean enough to rub it into their faces.

Often sparring with you and he would be interested, surprisingly he would listen to you as you taught him some basics, tips, or certain movements in kickboxing.

Kyoutani also just like Iwaizumi, he would be your biggest cheerleader as you spar with the other opponents and would scream his lungs out if you were able to win the competition.

Kyoutani would also definitely give you a hard glare and his scolding are much harsher than Iwaizumi's if you ended up injured because of the sparring.

Sometimes he would buy some cold drinks after you were working out or training, spending his money on your drinks while you were sweating after punching the bags.

He won't admit it but he definitely loves it when you spend your time together by sparring with him and training with him. He also loves to watch you beat your rivals down.

Ⰶ║ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ║Ⰶ

It was two in the afternoon and the street of Miyagi was quite busy with people walking around in the household areas and the nearest town with small shops here and there. Standing in front of the gym door, two persons walk in and look around the new brand gym which has many new equipments for people to workout.

The first person has short-cropped blond hair with two black stripes running across the sides of his head, just above the ears. The man also has honey-brown eyes that are sharp like the eyes of a guard dog eyes which makes him look intimidating unlike the rest of the Aoba Johsai Volleyball players.

The other person has a (H/C) hair color with a certain hair length. They/she/he is also having a peculiar (S/C) skin color that makes them stand out from the rest of the people inside the gym. They/she/he also has a beautiful (E/C) eye color as (Y/N) also wearing an oversized cyan hoodie with a black tanktop underneath it and biker shorts.

"So, why the fuck we're here?" Your boyfriend Kyoutani raises his eyebrows at you.

'Isn't it obvious and didn't your mom tell you?" You roll your eyes, a little bit annoyed that he forgot one of your hobbies.

"....What is it?" He still did not get it.

"It's kickboxing, dumbass. I'm going to train with my mentor and you can do anything in here while waiting for me," You told him before putting the bag on the bench.

His eyes widened before he slam his hand on his face, feeling a little bit embarrassed for forgetting that his mom did tell him that his boyfriend/girlfriend does kickboxing. You could not help but chuckle and roll your eyes at him playfully, amused by his reaction before grabbing one of his arms.

"Also, I don't really want you to just stand there and watch me like a lower. So, wanna sparring with me after I change to my training attire? I bet I could beat your ass later when we are sparring," you challenged your boyfriend.

Hearing that, the short-cropped volleyball player could not help but one the edge of his lips tugged upwards and almost reached his eyes with his canines showing off, "Heh, let's see about that loser. I will be the one who will kick your ass later," Kyoutani challenged back before his hands were on the sides of your legs and trapping you into the bench.

As soon as Kyoutani pulls away from trapping you, the old woman comes up with boxing gloves on her hand as she sent a friendly smile to you.

"Here, I got new gloves for you and I already thor your beaten-out gloves away since this one is more comfortable. Anyway, who was that hot guy/ Mind telling me~" the old lady teases you. She was a friendly old lady but with incredible monstrous strength and she was like your best friend.

"Yeah, that guy is my boyfriend, his name is Kyoutani and I will be sparring with him later..."

Asahi Azumane - Karasuno

Asahi has two reactions if he had S/O Who can do kickboxing and the first reaction is that he is actually proud of you because he thinks you are badass.

He knows that based on your skill and talent in kickboxing. You are able to defend yourself since he doesn't really like violence (He's just huge and scary looking but soft in real life).

Asahi also wanted to learn kickboxing like you although he stopped on the first trial and not joining the practice anymore because he thinks it's scary and tiring.

Especially when he looks at all of the rivals and the trainer, he legit almost pisses himself out of fear because of their scary looks and build.

Because of that, he would be just the personal nurse and cheerleader when you are sparring with the other player and would loudly cheer you up when you win the match or bandage your wounds when you got punched in the face.

Another Reaction that Asahi will have when reacting to having S/O who can do kick-boxing that he thinks that you are a slightly scary and violent person, not really knowing you wanted Kick Boxing not really because you want to fight but just building your body to be stronger.

He does legit think people who like martial arts are aggressive. He isn't wrong but he is not also entirely right about this unless you told him the truth or explained about some people do kickboxing to build their bodies stronger.

Nevertheless, Asahi is proud of you that you are strong to defend yourself from any bad guys but he is also a bit worried about any injuries you received from kickboxing, thinking you got injured during sparring.

Ⰶ║ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ║Ⰶ

On the other side of the gym, there is a single room with a large ring in the middle of it as well as benches and lockers surrounding the ring. But that was not it, there were also some punching bags on the side, a mattress, and other equipment that was usually used by other players and trainers to practice or build their bodies.

On the corner left, two figures sitting together as the two of them watching two people against each other the guy flinches every time when the person inside of the ring got painful punches, kicks, or jabs on the side. He has long hair which is usually styled as a bun behind his head and dark brown eyes.

The person who is sitting next to Asahi is someone with (H/C) hair color with a (H/L) hair length. Not only their/her/his hair but the person has sharp (E/C) eyes that observe every detail of their/her/his opponent's every move in a hope that (Y/N) can counter those moves.

Asahi could not help but keep staring at his partner with eyes that clearly shows that he is worried. The rival inside of the ring seems dangerous with their every movement as the person punches and kicks aggressively without any second thoughts.

"(Y/N)-san. Are you sure you want to spar with someone?" Asahi asks.

"Yes, I am sure. Why do you ask?" You take a glance at your boyfriend.

"I-i'm just scared if you ended up injured badly. I don't want to see you in pain," Asahi glances at the ground with sweat going down from his face.

"It's okay, Asahi-san. You don't need to worry. I will be fine," you reassure your giant boyfriend.

"B-but what if your rival going to punch your face and break your nose?" Asahi stuttered, still worried.

"Asahi-san. It's alright, I promise I will be careful and I won't be injured at all," you gently trace your hand on his back.

RIIING-

The sound of a loud alarm blared through the whole room, signaling that the match is over and Asahi's face palled as he sees the one who looses from the match. He could see some bruises and blood trailing down their face. It was no mistake that the opponent was too strong for them and they ended up being brought to the medical bay for treatment.

Even though Asahi was shaking in his seat and feeling his soul flying like a dying whale. You weren't afraid at all, instead, your eyes were burning like fire and sweat are trickling down from your forehead after a short stretching with gloves already wrapped around your hands with your hoodie already placed on top of the iron chair.

"B-BE CAREFUL, (Y/N)-SAN!" he bites his own nails.

"I will!" You shouted back.

Instead of turning around to look Asahi in the eyes. Your eyes already focusing on the tall person inside of the ring as they had only little cuts from the match before the door of the ring is pulled by one of the trainers, letting you go inside the area. Asahi swore it feels like his chest are going to pop out because of the fear-ridden inside of him.

A pair of (E/C) eye colors with the emerald green one meets with each other and the person smiles a little bit before they gave their hands to you "I hope we will have a good match, miss/mister (Y/N) (L/N)." It was not mockery, even though they are strong kickboxers, the person was rather humble and friendly when outside of the match.

"Likewise, (R/N). I hope the two of us have a good game," you shook their hand.

Yamaguchi Tadashi - Karasuno

Another precious Karasuno boi who is going to look at you as if you were made out of gold and silver. He thinks you are someone who is very cool.

He knows you can do kickboxing and he is legit thinking you are the strongest person. Yamaguchi also thinks you are stronger than him.

The reason he thinks that is because of that day when Tsukishima stand up for him and defended him from bullies teasing his freckles when they were young.

He also is slightly jealous as he thinks that you are better than him in a term of strength and talent and you had to reassure him that he is also cool for joining the volleyball team.

If you ever lose the match, he would sit next to you with his hand on your back and try to cheer you up but when you win the kickboxing match. You would be surprised because he would be the loudest other than Asahi when seeing you beating up your rival

If anyone going to talk bad about you because of your hobby, he would try his best to defend you from those judgemental assholes although he would regret it when the person march over to start a fight.

Yamaguchi would also sometimes surprisingly join your training routine at training but only the easy ones such as sit-ups, push-ups, squats, planks, and other workouts.

Yamaguchi would also sometimes be kind enough to bring your drinks over or share his drinks if you are thirsty and did not bring your water bottle.

Ⰶ║ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ ⵈ║Ⰶ

Standing in the ring with two figures, the person with deep blue eyes stares at a pair of (E/C) eye colors with determination in their eyes but it was not only them because (Y/N) (L/N) also staring at their/her/his opponent with the same amount of determination even though the two of them had cuts and bruises on their faces and their body.

(Y/N) eyes widened before using two of their arms to block the rival's punch to protect themselves/herself/himself from getting hit in the face. The person clicks their tongue in annoyance before backing away from you, scared that you would retaliate quickly by punching them back.

However, the rival was not faster and smarter enough because once (Y/N) put her/his/their arms away. (Y/N) (L/N) uses one of their/her/his legs before swiping the person's feet out of nowhere and making them fall to the soft mattress and making them surprised by the sudden move.

Without thinking twice, (Y/N) tackled the rival with the right arm wrapped around the neck and the arms as the legs also locked the waist of the rival, immobilizing them and choking them as well. Feeling the air sucked out from their lungs, the person quickly taps their hand on the ground, giving up.

Carefully, you pulled yourself away from the person and see the trainer comes up to you and raise your hand, showing that you were the winner of the match. A pair of brown eyes stare at you with admiration, he knew you are strong but NOT THIS STRONG. He could not help but clap as loud as he can, seeing you winning the match.

As you stepped out from the ring and the rival was brought away by their trainer, Yamaguchi slowly strolled up to you with a cute smile on his face before he hands the small towel to wipe your sweat away and gave you a water bottle, "H-hi babe. Here's your drink and let's go to the medic bay. Your bruise on your arms seems painful," Yamaguchi pointed out.

"Thanks, Yamaguchi-san but I think I am fine. We can go home and tend this bruise," you reassure your boyfriend.

"A-are you sure?" Yamaguchi looks at you with worry.

"Yeah, I'm sure. You don't need to worry about me. Let's just get ready and go home, okay? Also, we will stop at the closest Mcdonald's. I'm STARVING after that match!" You pick your bags up and wrap the hoodie around your waist since the bag is quite full.

"Y-yeah!" Yamaguchi quickly takes his bags before he walks to your right side.

You didn't notice that his eyes were staring from the bottom of your shoes to the top of your head as well as the bruises from all of the match, training, and from sparring with the other players. He could not help but smile widened, proud of all of your hard work and training as he was also there watching from the start of your training.

He is so obsessed with you but so insecure, this man acts like a lost little puppy. He’s always worrying about bothering you or being too clingy, please give him reassurance that you aren’t tired of him or annoyed

Is very much a physical touch guy. He’s okay with his words and is comfortable with expressing his feelings, but touch is just so special and comforting. His favorite thing in the world is waking up with you, you still asleep and the rising sun dancing on your tired figure, caressing your cheek and taking you in. These are my headcannons of things you’d say in passing or randomly, not giving much thought to them. But the boys really took it to heart and still think about it for a long time after (if that makes sense hahah)

Asahi~Bokuto~Iwaizumi Fluff

Asahi:

Once you were standing in line waiting to order some food at a restaurant you’d never been to before. There were lots of people around and it was feeling a little too chaotic for your liking. Asahi had only one arm wrapped around you but you felt like it wasn’t enough. When he questioned why you pulled him into a full hug, you told him how you liked when he held you like this because it makes you feel comfortable and secure. Like when it’s raining heavily outside and you’re in your room under a blanket. Feeling warm and protected. He also loves that feeling of being inside during the rain so ever since then he makes sure to hold you with both arms tightly whenever you’re in crowded places. Even though you’d long forgotten about that conversation, he never forgot.

Bokuto:

Being third years, this was going to be your last chance to experience high school things. During a conversation at the beginning of the school year you confessed to Bokuto that you were always a little jealous of the girls who people brought balloons to school to surprise them on their birthdays. Even though it was cheesy and dumb that you secretly wished someone did that for you. But every year would pass and it never happened. Your birthday was still a while away but he was determined to make you feel special this year. You’d forgotten you ever even told him that but sure enough on your birthday he paraded into your classroom with balloons and a cupcake. But he didn’t stop there. During another cuddle session you told him that when you first met him you were immediately attracted to him arms. Like sure he was very handsome and so sweet. But the very first thing you noticed was how big his biceps were and that you thought they were so hot. He didn’t say anything in response. But ever since then he never missed an arm day. He makes sure to train them diligently so that you always think he’s hot. And when he’s shopping he definitely makes his decisions based on which shirts make his arms look biggest. a/n: they're not even roadmen at this point. i can't actually see anyone as a roadman from haikyuu, except maybe kyoutani and iwaizumi,, but yeahh. this was for fun, so don't come at me or anything 😭

ARAN :

he's that one stylish roadman that everyone appreciates. he's got fire fits, fully dripped out and looks amazing. he's not so much road as the others, but he has that deep, gravelly voice when he comes up to you like 'yo wys b'. if he was to be from London, he'd defo be from South. i can't imagine him anywhere else. maybe Hackney, but yeahh he's defo from South.

KYOUTANI :

he's absolutely terrifying, will make you shit yourself. he's them ones that'll make you cross the road when you see him approaching. he's not scary as such, more intimidating and just exudes this dangerous energy. if black af1s was a person it'd be kyoutani. also he's an incredibly loyal person, just know that if he's one of your mates he'll back you no matter what. has defo shanked one of his ops before as well. but not fatally.

IWAIZUMI :

he'd be the womaniser. always has a charming smirk on his face and treats girls with the utmost respect, but he's a bit cheeky. he'd come up to you, eye you up and down and bite his lips. and then he'd talk to you casually with a smirk on his face. he's constantly making you heat up on the spot with his undivided attention on you and everyone has a crush on him. he's like the popular kid that talks and is nice to everyone.

TANAKA :

brother dresses like a roadman but is 1000% not a roadman. like he has an older sister, if he gets caught with a bunch of dodgy guys you already know his sister is pulling out her belt. he seems intimidating with his skin fade and shit but he's genuinely really fun to hang out with and if he's your partner in class or for a project then you're in luck, he's a bit thick but he's got energy.

ASAHI :

poor guy doesn't want to be associated with roadmen and he's lowkey scared of them himself but everyone just assumes he's a drug dealer or something. kids in the lower school always come up to him slyly asking him for geek bars or ganja and he's just there like °-° poor guy even got his locker searched by teachers because of the rumors surrounding him, he just want to become designer ffs 😭

Asahi, Noya, Tanaka x reader

Asahi Azumane:

Asahi's favorite couples tradition is one you both started way before you were even a couple. That is reading together on fridays. You used to do it during lunch every friday, him reading the book aloud in a hushed tone while you leaned over his shoulder or sat between his legs to read it with him. As the two of you grew older and moved on to adulthood together you continued this tradition, and every year on your anniversary you reread the first book you ever read together: Alice in Wonderland. Asahi is a huge book nerd, and no matter how into books you are; he makes it interesting for you. He does the little voices as best he can, chuckling and giving you a goofy smile when you laugh at the horrible girl voices he tries to do for you. Years and years into your relationship that book and many others still bring you both so, so much happiness.

Asahi has even thought about proposing and having an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding.

Yuu Nishinoya:

Nishinoya's favorite tradition as a couple is weekly date nights on (oddly) Wedenesday night. He gets all dressed up and so do you, the both of you going places that definitely dont actually require that kind of over dressing. He will take you to pizza hut with you in a super fancy outfit and him in a 3 piece tux just to see you giggle at the confusion on the employees face. And for your anniversary you both underdress and go to a really, really fancy restaurant. The confusion on the employees faces and the small comments of people around you driving you both to giggles as you enjoy being in your state of over or under dress for the restaurant your in on an odd day of the week makes trying to find the right pjs or tux completely worth it for him.

It's a dumb tradition, but Nishinoya loves it and lives for the fun you both have.

Ryuunosuke Tanaka:

Tanaka's favorite tradition as a couple is the fact that every Monday when he gets home you always make tea. He has no idea and neither do you of when this little tradition even started. But he loves to come home to you in the kitchen, humming along with whatever music you were playing and making you both a cup of your favorite drinks. His is a cup of blackberry infused green tea with a half teaspoon of honey and a cube of sugar. You know it like the back of your hand because of how happy he gets when you hand it to him. Monday is always his most stressful day, so that cup of tea and a kiss to the cheek makes his heart flutter and his cheeks flush despite how long the two of you have been doing this stupid little tradition for.

Tanaka loves you and he loves his tea, 2 in 1 is a good deal <3.

haikyuu edition / karasuno

disclaimer: They are headcanons, please relax. If you don’t agree it isn’t really my problem so please keep it to yourself.

Hinata: pansexual vibes honestly.

He is the type of person who thinks everyone feels that way. He thought people were attracted to people and that was it, no gay or lesbian or straight.

It wasn’t until Yachi was talking about it that he realized he was pansexual and just stayed like that and continue to live his life.

Kageyama: “I like Hinata”. Gay just doesn’t know yet.

His gay awakening was Hinata but couldn’t really explain why he felt all fuzzy inside.

He is the type of gay that picked his crush only because people around him seemed to have one.

Tsukishima thought it was the most obvious thing so when he pointed out he was genuinely surprised to see he had no idea of what he was talking about “you figure it out”.

Asahi: Unlabeled, they/he pronouns. Probably demisexual too

Baby is just vibing. Doesn’t care about labels and isn’t interested in finding out, they are just waiting for the right person to come.

Hopeless romantic too.

Asahi uses they/he pronouns because i say so.

Daichi: Bi. 100% bisexual

Look at me in the fucking eyes and tell me this man isn’t a bisexual.

His first romantic partner was a girl, but later on he found himself crushing on a boy in his class so you can guess how conflicted he felt.

Suga was the one to solve his questions. “You can like both genders, Daichi. That doesn’t mean you are cheating on your girlfriend”

Suga: Pan, uses any pronouns.

Just vibing too.

Feels specially happy when people use they/them pronouns.

Noya: Gayyyyy

Now listen to me. He likes kiyoko, ok? But is mostly platonic.

Tanaka knows this so everything is pretty chill with them.

I feel he felt pretty ashamed at first because of his sexuality so he did everything in his power to convence others he likes girls, hopefully he could convince himself too.

Then he told Tanaka how he really felt, poor boy was in the verge of tears and tanaka was like “oh you are gay? that’s cool man”

Tanaka: Bicurious.

I don’t think he is straight tbh. He is discovering his sexuality.

Is completely ok with kissing a dude and if he is being honest, he kinda likes it.

I don’t see him getting into a relationship with a guy but i do think he is sexually attracted to them. Just like a thought in the back of his head.

Yams: Bisexual and ftm

Has a weak spot for blonds.

Baby wants a beard sooooo bad. The testosterone shots won’t give him much facial hair and it upsets him a bit.

At first he thought he was genderfluid, but then he realized there was something wrong. He didn’t like himself.

Tsukishima went on this journey with him, gives him his shots and bought him his first binder.

Tsukishima: gAY

Has the best gaydar too.

He was never confused about his sexuality either, his family was really accepting and never questioned if he liked girls, he just didn’t.

Girls crush on him all the time, right? well at first he is pretty gentle about it and rejects them softly (?. But if they insist he would bluntly say “Im gay” and leave.

Kiyoko: Lesbian (fight me, honestly)

In a universe where she and Tanaka don’t end up together is because she is a lesbian.

Kiyoko was very confused about her sexuality at first. Because she heard liking girls being a girl was wrong and in high school she learned how much lesbians were hyper-sexualized.

She has learned to love herself slowly and accept that the blue prince wasn’t in her path.

Yachi: Bisexual with a preference for girls. Genderfluid.

She had a big fat crush on Yamaguchi for a while but she always comes back to Kiyoko.

“I don’t like girls what are you talking about” *sweats*

Discovered her sexuality in middle school and reaffirmed it in high school.

Their gender on the other side took a while. She liked when people referred to them as he so at first she thought he was trans. Then non-binary.

Then, as an adult she learned the term genderfluid and was like “omg that’s me”
