T-T I've already answered this question, but I haven't managed to find it in the vast ocean that is my archives. Ash and Elie want their child to be happy. Arthur is a good choice, Elie likes him a lot no doubt because she's been able to observe him up close, Ash is a little more reserved because he's Tobias' protégé (yes, for Dad, that's reason enough to squint.) Tally is fun, Ash likes her positivity but Elie would like her to accept the responsibilities that are hers. Both are a little fuzzy on Corden. He has a lot of demons to get rid of and worries about whether Mc will be able to handle it. Lessica…She's an elf, Elie's anxious, Ash knows her, but he also knows her mother, so he's rather resistant to the idea. And finally S….spoiler !!!!

Ash's mother lost her life giving birth to him, while his father, having lost the love of his life, ignored his son for most of his childhood. Not out of disgust at the son who had killed his mother, or out of anger, but out of sadness. His grief was too deep for him to connect with his son. As a result, the mental shield offered by parents to young elves against the power of the hive's mental connection was almost non-existent for Ash, who had to forge a shield himself. As a result, he is one of the most gifted beings in the Silent Lands when it comes to establishing an Emyndäryl (Elvish term for the inner self, one's secret garden). Ash is feared, envied, and desired by many, including Queen Amandil.

Also

Concerning Elianna, she has a mother and is not an orphan in the same way as Tobias, her story being closer to Cecily's.

You'll definitely meet him in Book 1, but I can't say exactly when. I can say, however, that you'll meet Sirius, Ash's familiar in this chapter, more precisely towards the end of it.

If the romantic union between members of different species/races, like in the case of Elianna and Ashley, how would the wedding be organized (both in human style and elf style)? What are the usual rituals in a typical marriage between elves?

If a wedding were to take place between Ash and Elianna, then Ash would ask that they follow the human trend.

Something small, surrounded by the people they love. Under no circumstances would he wish to marry Elianna in the Elven way. He'd be afraid it would break her mentally and she wouldn't stand the intrusion into her mind. If she married Ash, she'd have to join the Hive. That's why Ash didn't want anyone to know if they were to marry.

Lol. Elianna and Ashlyen's relationship started with arguments, in fact it was their language, their way of courting.

Now the main topic is Mc. There's always been respect, even if tempers flare at times. Most of the time there was more teasing than real anger. I still think their relationship can change the world.

You hesitated for a long time between tearing them up or burning them and finally decided to do both. With furious movements, you twist the parchment. The sound is brittle, sharp! Like the sound of your heart breaking and the fire that now consumes them screams with pain, unless it is you.

You are a little lost since this terrible realization. Plunged in the darkness of Ashlyen's rejection.

A lump forms in your throat as Tobias' voice reaches your eardrums. Here comes the saving sun. You should be rejoicing, yet the worry in the tone of his voice finally breaks the dam and you begin to cry.

Your sobs increase. It's not fair. "I wish you were my father."

Oh the Ashlyen fluff❤ what about a child MC who is very shy but also very curious when seeing Ashlyen for the first time but after a day together MC climbed on his lap for cuddles/a bedtime story while petting Sirius?

Sirius' ears flutter nervously. Annoyed, a low growl vibrates his throat. Ashlyen looks up and quickly scans the surroundings of the farm knowing full well that he will find the reason for his familiar's mood hidden there somewhere.

And indeed, ${name} is there. Their head barely sticking out from behind the wall and a thumb in his mouth. They watch them.

"When is this going to stop," Sirius whined, "I hate that they do this."

"They are curious, don't blame them."

"To the point of getting out of bed. Shouldn't they be sleeping? And if they're curious why didn't they come see us earlier."

"Everyone has their own rhythm, Sirius, and you're pretty intimidating," Ashlyen tells him with a small smirk.

"Me? Intimidating?"

"You seem to like the adjective, but we'll see later, look who finally has the courage to come see us."

Slowly, the child makes their way to the pair dragging a storybook behind them. As they stop near them, their eyes settle on the familiar. "Pretty kitty," they whisper.

Sirius' eyes narrow in displeasure and Ashlyen coughs excessively to suppress a laugh.

"Aren't you supposed to be in bed, little one. What would your mother say if she knew you were here," Sirius replies.

"Don't tell mommy," the child asks, clutching their book tighter.

"Sirius is right you know, you shouldn't be out so late at night, you could hurt yourself in the dark."

"But…I can see in the dark, a little more than Mommy. Not you?" they wonder.

"Ah…yes, it's true."

"Sirius turns his head to his tear. "It's your offspring."

A silly smile stretches the lips of the young elf. His offspring. Yes it is.

"Can you read me a story?" ${name} asks, raising the book to their face. "Please!" they chimed in with a smile and puppy eyes.

How to resist that. Already Ashlyen feels a wave of love swell in his chest and take him away. Sirius purr before stopping. His eyes open in astonishment.

The child smiles as Ash places them on his lap enjoying their weight and the warmth of their little body.

"Of course I can read you a story. What did you choose?"

Now how would Sirius and Ash react to three year old MC excitedly going up to hug the lynx while happily calling him a "pretty kitty"? 😆

As they talk in hushed tones, sitting at the kitchen table, Ashlyen loses his train of thought many times. Elianna's fingers which brush the skin of his wrist send his mind wandering too far away for it to be perfectly coherent.

Yet new chirps from {$name} manage to make his head spin and he has to bite the inside of his cheeks to keep from bursting out laughing and offending Sirius.

Ears low and tail wagging with annoyance, his familiar has been putting up with the child's whimsy for nearly an hour, as the child armed with a brush persists in brushing his fur.

"If they weren't yours," Sirius mentally growls, glaring at him.

"I know, thank you," Ashlyen replies gratefully in kind.

then considering their work accomplished the child observes the lynx carefully before exclaiming.

"Pretty big kitty!"

And laugh out loud.

But the most surprising thing was to see the child embracing the lynx whose ears suddenly perked up. Ashlyen covered his mouth to avoid smiling too much in the direction of his familiar but he was sure of it now. Sirius purred.

How would Ashlyn and Sirius react to meeting a child mc, and mc being afraid of them and timid? ie trying to hide behind Elianna or Tobias, and not interact with him directly.

"Mommy, who is that man?"

With such innocent eyes and question, who would think that this child is evil, wonders Ash as he lays tender eyes on his flesh and blood. 

This is the second time he has visited the farm outside Northview.

"They've grown up," Sirius remarks under his skull.

"Indeed," Ashlyen replies with a sad smile on his lips.

Elianna meets his gaze with her beautiful brown eyes and Ash has all the difficulties in the world not to take her in his arms. The young mother lowers her eyes towards the child who clings desperately to the bottom of her dress.

"He has a big cat!" the half-blood comments in a bemused whisper.

Ashlyen holds back a laugh that he turns into a cough as his familiar lets out an outraged growl.

"I'm not a cat, I'm a Lynx, child!"

The little being startled by the familiar's deep voice shivers with all their limbs and quickly disappears behind the red fabric of their mother's dress.

With a wave of his hand, the elf indicates to his companion to withdraw and crouches down at the child's level. Once again, he meets the eyes of his love who smiles gently despite the tension in her shoulders.

"Hello, I'm a friend of your mom," Ashlyen begins softly. The lie costs him, but the truth would hurt the child more. After all, if he were to say that he was their father, how would they react when he left. Ashlyen has always been bad with tears, he prefers smiles. "You look a lot like her. Except for the eyes. They're the same color as mine."

He coughs, bothered by a sudden lump in his throat that melts slightly from the wave of soothing Sirius sends him through their bond.

"${name}?" questions Elianna. "What do we say?"

Slowly the child emerges from their hiding place and plunges their eyes into his before reaching out with their tiny hand. "Hello. It's a pleasure to meet you, mister."

"It's me who's pleased to meet you." he replies eyes glistening with Tear.

What about a what if in near future where they manage to meet in MC's home and they can enjoy the company of their loved ones all in one place. And MC keeps talking excitedly at Ash and Sirius (did I spell it wrong?) and hugging everyone cuz they are so happy! 💖

If he was in the Silent Lands, they would accuse him of being too excessive. But although he's not there, Ashlyen is struggling to stay still. His smile is so big he's sure his jaw will hurt tomorrow, his joy is so great that Sirius vibrates next to him as he tries to follow what ${name} is telling him. To be honest, he doesn't really listen to the words, preferring to focus on the sound of their voice and the smile his child is showing. They are identical, their smile, as well as their eyes.

Elianna bursts out laughing. "Take it easy, ${name}. I'm not sure your dad managed to keep up."

Ashlyen gives him a sheepish look as Tobias ruffles his child's hair.

"And breathe, Little Star. It's important!"

"Alright, Alright!"

${name} turns a disarming smile at him, "Do you want me to start over?"

Ashlyen laughs. "Go ahead, I could listen to you for hours."

"Let's make sure they're hydrated then," Cecily intervenes, putting several glasses on the table.

The word he had so long refused to endorse for fear of seeing his child in danger now echoed through the tower gardens, and his heart beat rapidly. But not of excitement, not of joy. His heart beats rapidly under the violent blow he has just received.

He knows he has no right to expect this word to be addressed to him and yet, oh how he longs for it.

But the blond has already filled the hole, has for years seen himself dressed with the word. And Ashlyen has no right to object. So he'll just smile.
