I’m sorry but Disney doesn’t deserve forgiveness for not taking the marketing of Treasure Planet and Atlantis as seriously as it should have.
Jim Hawkins and Milo Thatch deserve the world, the best two underrated Disney boys.

I only included the films from the Walt Disney Animation Studios line-up.
Well, after making polls of each era of the 20th century, it's time to tackle the 21st century so far! Happy voting! ❤

Strange World (2022)
In Strange World (2022), immediately before the end credits, a book is visible with the title written in Atlantean text.
It is a substitution cipher, translating to:
atlantis
the lost empire

I know we all love to have the joke that Tim's Robin was Bernard's gay awakening, but I feel like you are all missing who it likely actually was: Milo Thatcher
Like he probably watched this film obsessively as a child. This is the neurodivergent queer kid film (along with Treasure Planet).
But most importantly, that's also why Tim would have stood out to him so much. I mean, if Milo was Bernard's gay awakening, it makes sense he went after Tim. Both have so many similarities from being incredibly smart to even having the same hairstyle. I just feel like Bernard obsessively watching this movie as a kid would make so much sense.
