Ran when parked: Two 1958 Austin-Healey 100-6
If you buy a car to restore it, just do it without waiting for some uncertain event because, sad as it is, it’s an inescapable truth that we never know what the future holds.
In this specific case, this pair of Austin-Healey 100-6 belonged to someone who had them in their garage with the intention of bringing them back to their original splendor. Despite the good intentions, the grim reaper…

Austin-Healey 100/4 BN1 (Part 1 of 2)
The purest of all Austin-Healeys is the 100. It has a powerful 2,6 Litre 4-cilinder, that offers plenty of torque and a fantastic soundtrack. As it is eligible for a lot of historic events like Mille Miglia or similar, these cars are quite sought-after and due to their rarity a rather sound investment.
This particular car was restored fifteen years ago, and is still in excellent condition. It has matching numbers, and still equipped with the original and correct 3-speed gearbox with overdrive. For better performance, the engine has been upgraded to 100M specification, with a pair of H6 SU carburetors and Le Mans inlet manifolds and airbox.
This Austin-Healey comes with a very rare Universal Laminations hardtop finished in white, and has of course a softtop as well (which is finished in matching red). The sidescreens are included as well, and fit both soft and hard top. This is a very sporty little roadster, well prepared and a real pleasure to drive. Ready for Mille Miglia or any other serious historic events. This example is an original RHD car, but now with a Belgian registration.
