This should be required reading for EVERYONE. I need more people to read this because it was such a gut punch and I’m just here trying to make sense of all the things I read. There is just so much packed into this graphic novel that it’s hard to get my thoughts in order to make a coherent review. Especially when my thoughts were just a revolving door of “WTF?!”, “holy shit!”, and “colonialism is an absolute bitch”. Seriously, my inner monologue was one giant swear word generator the entire time I was reading. Squire is honestly one of the most eye opening stories I’ve ever read and it’s getting a solid five stars. Please, please read this!
Ever hear about the Michigan Dogman? An enormous wolfy cryptid with a howl that makes your blood run cold? Stories of them run amuck through Midwestern lore, and I can't think of a beauty more fitting to come nosing around in my story ‘Wolves.’ Who ever said there can be only ONE species of werewolf?
Rating: E (mostly for themes but also one explicit sex scene)
My Synopsis: If you’ve ever wanted to read about a narcoleptic and his pet carp who daydreams about eating him, now’s your chance! Jing Lin is content to sleep the rest of his immortality away while his pet carp drinks his blood, but fate has other plans. Forced from their secluded mountain home, Jing Lin and carp-turned-human, Cang Ji, must travel the world to uncover the commonality behind a thread of injustices, how they relate to the eight sufferings of the world, and what the significance of this path is to the men’s shared past. Featuring: mutual homoerotic cannibalistic fantasies!
My Actual Review: here
Translation: complete but the fan translation has been taken down because the novel has been licensed. Below is a link of where to order from the USA:
I am a very slow reader (sometimes, I write faster than I read???)
My art is heavily inspired by manga art, though I experiment with style quite a lot :)

Israphaellia's Adventure
Fantasy + Sci-Fi Manga (full watercolour!)
It's set in the same world as "Taylaron's Story" but a few years later, when the characters are in magical university.
It's a sequel to a comic I made as a teenager, but you don't have to read the original to understand this one.
I am uploading it as a "dubbed comic" to YouTube! :)
Blurb:
Just after graduating from Moonrise School of Elementalism, Israphaellia is struggling to choose which magical university she should attend. She worries about getting assignments done on time and keeping in touch with friends attending different universities. However, what she really should have been worried about is the new adventure one of these catch-ups will send her on.
horror graphic novel about a newly licensed therapist who’s recently moved from Beirut to Brooklyn, and is talking with her new client, who has schizophrenia, and is experiencing night terrors that she’s convinced are different from normal

The Pulitzer Prize-winning Maus tells the story of Vladek Spiegelman, a Jewish survivor of Hitler’s Europe, and his son, a cartoonist coming to terms with his father’s story. Maus approaches the unspeakable through the diminutive. Its form, the cartoon (the Nazis are cats, the Jews mice), shocks us out of any lingering sense of familiarity and succeeds in “drawing us closer to the bleak heart of the Holocaust” (The New York Times).
I am proud to announce that @withlovefromthecrowss and I are collaborating on this exciting project together! Feypocalypse is a queer, fantasy horror comic set in medieval England following the events of a Fey Apocalypse in the 1300s. It follows a group of knights trying to survive in a world that has been turned into a Fey hunting ground, whilst protecting the Changeling child they accidentally adopted.
The current plan is eight issues, to be published on Patreon and then printed as a complete novel at the end! It will be written by myself and illustrated by my amazing co-creator @withlovefromthecrowss. I am so excited to finally be able to share this with you all and I hope you will follow along for the ride! I will be setting up a side account specifically for this project, so come and have a look!
My names Odin and im a teenage artist and ive been working on publishing a book for quite some time. Its title is A Shadowed World and i unfortunately do not have an estimated release date but i was hoping to share my progress and process as i work on it.
if your circle of interest includes the following:
-dragons, fantasy, and complex worldbuilding
-trans/queer/disability/poc/plus size rep
-lore and foreshadowing inclusion
-or if you just like cool art i think my arts pretty cool :3
-furries r totally welcome too cause the characters , though not anthro animals, are dragons and other various beasts :]
to be quite honest the storyline is much to complicated to include a full summary in such a post, but in short; A girl feeling displaced in her home world finds she is actually a dragon from a separate planet, and has been ordained by a strange clockwork fate system to conquer a villain chosen by the same fate.
if yall would interact to support a young artist that would be lovely<3 closeups of drawing r in the reblogs
