When we started this blog, we had no expectations of building a following. All we wanted was a creative outlet for posting pics, videos, and articles documenting our automotive escapades.

It turns out, you all wanted that too! We're eternally grateful to each of you, and thanks to you, have decided to put more focus, time, and effort into our content.

The blog itself will be updated more frequently, with a more diverse portfolio of content, ranging from daily pics to weekly videos and articles. We expect to become a reliable source of car content every day of the week.

We will soon be announcing the launch of additional platforms where our content will be shared. This includes but isn't limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Each platform will share some content, while featuring platform curated and exclusive posts.

I need all of you to look at Vale's Misano 2020 helmet real quick.

Yep. That little blue pill is Viagra. With one pill already missing from the blister pack.

Apparently the "La Doppia" refers to the double header San Marino GP that took place due to the pandemic regulations, and also just a reference to "second rounds" I suppose. Aldo Drudi, Vale's long time collaborator and helmet designer said that the viagra was a reference to how he was an old man at 40 and would need some extra energy for the double race.

Apparently when Vale set the fastest lap during FP3 of the Misano GP, the commentators talked about how he was "riding hard".

Also because he's a cheeky little fuck he posted on his ig about how his Mugello 2021 helmet announcing Francesca's pregnancy with their daughter was a natural progression of the Misano 2020 Viagra helmet. It's stupid but who else would dare to do something like this.

In 2023, how are cars still relevant? In the age of climate change, and a push for comprehensive public transportation, where does private ownership of cars and more importantly, car enthusiasm live?

It’s a tough question, especially as the car community itself is struggling to come up with an answer. Car meets are not what they used to be, and takeovers are becoming the reluctant staple of the car scene.

Races, both on the track and off, are becoming disorganized or are increasingly difficult to find.

Rallies and cruises are few and far between.

The few meets and car shows that are still bringing us together are cliquey and well established, making it daunting for newcomers to find their place.

Where does that leave us? As cars become the enemy, the community becomes disorganized, and the members close rank. How do we sell the idea of car enthusiasm to the new generations when we can’t seem to sell it to ourselves?

We start by embracing the new generation. We remember that we were once the kids making fun of the boomers and their Corvettes and Jean shorts. We stop our inherent prejudice against electric cars. We remember that the world is different now, and it has to be. It’s not going back. This generation will bring dramatic change to car enthusiasm and car culture, as EVs, alternative fuel, and hybrid vehicles become the dominant power trains of our future.

But it’s not just the cars that are changing, the people are too.

No longer is the community dominated by middle aged men.

Our community is expanding to include people of different genders, sexualities, ages, races, religions, and more.

If we want to see any remnants of car culture continuing well into the 21st century, we must adapt, embrace, and include.
