You sigh heavily as you try to catch your breath, but the huge gash on your side isn't making it an easy job. You sit down on the half wall of bricks, blood seeping through your shirt and onto your hand, finally relieved you exorcized the special grade that took way longer than you expected.

And got you more hurt than he expected.

You tear off the bottom of your shirt, making a makeshift tourniquet, wincing as you tie it around yourself, and you hear him sigh. "Gojou," you start.

"We can't keep doing this." You freeze momentarily when you instantly know what he's talking about, but you're beyond tired, the loss of blood starting to take an effect on you.

"You always say that--"

"Look at you," he replies sternly but quietly, and you don't look up as you look to the side, away from your wound. "It's too much of a risk."

"Gojou," you try again, emotionally tired from having this conversation over and over again. "We've already talked about this."

"And we need to talk about it again."

You grit your teeth in annoyance and in pain. You breathe in a stuttered breath. "This can work, we already said--"

"No. We knew about the risk, but it's too much. We can't keep doing this."

"We or you," you reply quickly, finally bringing your gaze up to look at him. He still has his blindfold down, white locks brushing in front of his crystal eyes.

"Satoru," you cut him off when he starts to call your name. You scoff again as tears start to prick your eyes. You both had always had this conversation, knowing that being in a relationship in this field is beyond dangerous, but every time you were able to come back to each other.

But not this time.

"You're right. This isn't working." And you're not talking about the fact that you're injured or that your relationship would be considered taboo.

You're talking about how he's always the one to start this argument. How you always have to convince him that it can work. How you have to literally beg for him to stay with you, that you both can get through this together.

And you're tired of it.

You stand up as quickly as your body can muster, wobbling a bit when you're fully standing, and you stop him when he tries to come closer to you.

Keeping your hand on your side, you twist the promise ring off your finger, it feeling like a lie, a negative weight on your hand. "I hope you're happy," you start, tears running down your face as you hold the ring up. "You'll never see me again."

You throw the ring at him, it bouncing off of him before landing on the ground with a small clink.

You walk past him and he doesn't try to stop you. He knows it's too late. That's he's finally lost you. That this is the last straw.

And he stands there, feeling heavy and empty at the same time. The tears finally falling when he can't hear your footsteps anymore, and when his eyes land on the silver jewelry shining in the moonlight.

my whole hate thing started with ben tbh. it’s true that she didn’t kill him, but if she hadn’t pushed him to… do?? what he did?? (i really can’t remember the plot LMAO i’m just here for matt), he’d still be alive. she doesn’t get any better in the next seasons. i did like her in the punisher but her whole thing with guns made me kinda iffy tbh.

matt and elektra are just so 😵‍💫 i love the way matt is around her, he gets so much cockier and funnier and just 😵‍💫 the way he talks to her sometimes!! lowkey also want to write something with both of them but idk what </3

dude, frank is insane. like completely off the rails. man doesn’t hesitate with ANYTHING. it’s scary to me lol, i really can’t watch some scenes bc of how brutal he is.

and omg there was this scene, i really can’t remember what it was about (something where fisc told everyone to go away but wesley stayed and said something like “i’m not going to leave you alone”) but i literally awed out loud. like the trust between them was so :’) i liked their friendship

but no yeah the ben thing pissed me off mostly bc of the way she got him there. like bringing him there was a risk yeah, but like also his wife was like “he wouldn’t do anything he didn’t want to” and all that stuff. he decided stayed to hear what fisk’s mom had to say so him actually being there wasn’t what i was mad at. it was the fact that she deadass took advantage of the fact that he was vulnerable

also ik frank’s literally crazy but there’s just something so attractive about it for no reason💀 i just finished episode two. first of all, i nearly actually threw up when that owner of the store went, “maybe you like them younger huh?” and started going “yeah that’s my guy” and this and that to frank about it when he was closing up the shop. literally what stopped me is the fact that i knew frank bashed that mf’s head in. off topic but anyways

and YEAH i think it was during the whole poisoning vanessa thing that that scene happened and the entire time i was awing too. like ik fisk is the bad guy but bro the way my heart lowkey broke for him when he found wesley dead ✋🏻
