Lightswitches Recolored & Made Functional!

finally got this lightswitch recolor approved on ModTheSims!

Lightswitches. We've wanted 'em in The Sims 4, and we got them after just shy of nine years. Except they're just... wall decor, and only have two boring swatches. Boo...

Except not anymore! In a medication-induced burst of energy, I took it upon myself to pretty up two of the lightswitches we were given and even made them functional!

This set includes edited versions of the base-game "Unswitchable Switch", which is BGC, as well as the "Clickity Light Switch" from the Bathroom Clutter Kit. The latter (obviously) requires the Bathroom Clutter Kit in order for it to be seen in-game, and for this reason, I've put it in a separate download. The former has been given 18 swatches, some of which have colored bolts, and the latter has 13 swatches (sorry, didn't do the full array of colors since I had run into issues and burned out by then).

I first improved their textures using Upscale.media, a site that allows you to upscale images using an AI, and colored them as needed in Photoshop. Both items function like a light object in-game by allowing you to manipulate the lights in your Sim's house! 

NOTE: Using "This Light" will not work, as the items themselves do not produce any light, I haven't figured out how to remove that option yet.

They're finally here!

The story behind these is that I came across pronouns tattoos but they were gender-locked. I liked the concept, so I tried to create a more inclusive approach. Now you have 5 packages and more than 10 styles to choose from!

I tried considering different types of personalities when making them, most of them are bold in design, some delicate, and some are to be playful. Some swatches contain swear words

All: BGC, teen to elder, available for occult, not gender/frame locked aka 100% unisex, One Size truly Fits All (doesn't get deformed by weight/black ones show up in darkest skintones as real life black tattoos do), custom thumbnail for easier navigation. Not HD compatible Pronouns: she, he, they, combinations of the three, it, neos, "ask first", switch, xe, ze, "none of your business"

Sooo... I ripped the wardrobe apart to make it modular. Piece that together as you please. Don't ask me where the doors of the middle part went. I made the bench into a corner bench. It's NOT a dining booth though, keep that in mind, goes well with the desk-turned-dining table tho. Which also looks nice with the sofa set and coffee table. The basket is now filled with Batuu herbs, the bar stool is now a chair, I made the debug planters functional and oh, yea... the seance table requires the paranormal stuff pack! So technically this is only 93,75% BGC..?

Basic Luxe Kitchen

CC Set of 28 BGC Items

I've been working on this set for the last two months and I'm so happy to finally be finished and able to share it with everyone. I wanted something that was simple and modern, but with a touch of elegance. A step up from my Back to Basics set, but maybe not quite something the Landgraabs would own (or maybe they would! I don't know!)

Everything should be BGC, including the slottable stove/oven and the snapping/slotting shelves (both based on DHD items), but please let me know if you run into any problems!

Like with any project of this size, I fell in and out of love with the items and color palette of this set several times. The colors are actually taken from HSY and Vintage Glamour, so hopefully my set will work with furniture from those packs, but I also hope that it will look nice with other EA items as well. I tried to include a balance between rich, bold colors and softer neutrals, but as always, I think I skewed too far in the greens and blues. Still, I'm really happy with how everything came out!

Since this is a pretty standard kitchen, I'll just point out a few things:

The counter has two full-tile pieces: one is the default, and the other is an "end piece" (functions as a full-tile counter)

The counter also has a half-tile piece as its other "end piece"

The Stove/Oven is slottable, so it will fit into any full-tile counter!

Two different backsplashes that use extracted game textures

No kitchen clutter this time (unless you count the plants) since I don't think anyone really needs seven different cc creators' interpretations of a dinner plate.

I use Peacemaker's No Occluder mod to prevent weird shadows from cabinets/appliances

Liberated & Separated "Lump of Clay" Sculptures

another personal project i made a couple weeks ago got approved for modthesims! it explains itself.

Using the Lump of Clay item from the base game, your Sims can make a total of ten different sculptures depending on what mood they're in when they use it. While the sculptures themselves are pretty cute, unfortunately they don't really stick around for too long. They can't even be bought in the catalog unless you use bb.showhiddenobjects, and even then, they function exactly the same as the Lump of Clay.

As a solution, I've separated all ten clay sculptures into individual items in the Clutter and Kids' Decorations categories, and made them available in Build/Buy without cheats! I have also retained their original names, descriptions, and emotional auras. There are ten in total, costing 10 Simoleons each, and all come in only one swatch.

All sculptures have also had their clay molding functionality removed, so that they may be used as decorative items for your artistic sims or their kids! They are also draggable in live mode.

This set is BGC and comes in Merged and Unmerged packages!

I'd like to take a moment and say I got my fist in-game one legit and not through debug. Honest! Soooo I want everyone else who can't or won't buy the pack have a basegame version of the tiger plush. Look at him! He's ferociously cool!! I also added some recolors because I could.
