I keep thinking about Auden Keen's headband braid and how she is 100% the one who braided and put up Frey's hair before giving her some Athian garb to camouflage in. You will never, ever, EVER find a more ride or die bitch oh my god, Frey didn't have anyone to trust for her whole life and she immediately gets the friend who advocates for you when no one else does and breaks you out of prison and then gives you the asymmetrical hairstyle of gay. - i kinda like that she ended up looking like a mother-of-pearl inlay lacquerware!

- oh this was a subconscious choice, but Gale is sitting in seiza which is a posture for showing respect especially to elders. it's also known to be a painful position to sit in for extended periods of time, which is why it was sometimes used as a method of (morally dubious) punishment. however, experienced people can maintain this posture for much longer. food for thought :-)

Just a reminder for people cause I haven't seen many peope posting about it:

If you can, please braid your hair today (4/8/24) in honor of Cole Brings Plenty. Cole was a Lakota actor who was assaulted and had his hair cut. Shortly after, he went missing and was later found dead. It's likely that he was murdered, though details haven't been released yet. Rising Hearts has asked that everyone, indigenous or not, wear braids to honor him and remember those that have suffered the same.

If you can't braid your hair, then share posts of others!

Now is also a good time to share some support to indigenous charities, if you're able
