He looked around in confusion, surrounded bt multi colored hues, but just as quickly he was shunted out into a strange room, looking down at a circle, a woman clearly having called him, either by accident or on purpose. First of all, JIMIN is literally a unisex name which is especially given for baby girls in SK. So there's no need to add anything to make it more girly lmao. His name is commonly used by girls anyway.. we have many girl idols named Jimin but uses stage names because JIMIN is owned by mimi 🤷‍♀️

Second, people really think saying he looks like a woman is offensive ? The same person who asked 'what the heck is men ?', Regularly wears women clothing, drew a bigender tattoo on himself, thinks he looks beautiful when dressed as a girl, calls himself pretty, pretite and delicate, chose modern dance and ballet as his major which are not commonly done by men and is frowned upon in SK, repeated he's NOT manly multiple times in a single interview, likes to keep his body dainty, want to make his booty even bigger, used a woman as his reflection and is VERY fluid with his gender identity representation 🙄🙄 More than anyone else Jimin knows his feminine side and fucking embrace it proudly

If him, his dad and mom, his partner, his members, his freinds and his stans doesn't have a single problem with him not being the usual 'manly' guy then who tf have a problem with how he carries himself ?

The way it's mostly JK solos trying to drag him for this.. are they worried whether he'll steal their man or what 👀👀 or that their 'straight' man won't be able to resist a pretty Jimin around ? Is JK that weak for pretty dainty boys shaz ? 🤔

So the members start to play and guess who JK is watching 😏😏

The reason why this analysis is most probably accurate is because of the face Jimin makes when JK wins dramatically

Watching a 14 year old 8th grader

Things I have been told/asked:

She showed me EVERY Pokémon and made me judge them and then told me I was wrong about every single one

Why Luka is a better boyfriend than Adrien Agreste (thankfully something I could understand)

Made me explain the entire plot of Steven Universe bc she saw one episode but couldn’t find the rest

That she is in love with a Splatoon character

Explained the full Five Nights at Freddie’s Lore (maybe better than MatPat who, by the way, she has no idea who he is)

Asked me about those Urban Legend Horror games like Bloody Mary and the Elevator game and then proceeded to have to sleep with every light on bc she was scared

Told me she doesn’t swear and doesn’t respect people who swear and that she has cut off friends who swear. I have to apologize every time I accidentally curse because of this.

She had me read 14 pokemon ffs on fanfiction.net to make sure there wasn’t any adult content.

In that same vein told me that she had learned how to use ao3 filters (something I had accidentally taught her how to do last time I watched her)

Asked me if I knew what Dokidoki literature club is and made me read 5 of those fanfictions too to make sure there was no adult content (there obviously was. How she ended up in dokidokiliterature is beyond me. She said it was because she is in love with Monika)

Made me read the ao3 ship stats and then asked me about every single fandom/show etc

Quick rundown of what she said when I explained them: Hannibal “remind me never to watch that”, Harry Potter “no one even cares about Harry Potter. Is Dumbledore gay?”, Supernatural “why are ppl shipping brothers” and then I explained destiel and how he got sent to hell and then she got mad at me for saying Hell, 911 “why does 911 have a fandom? People being hurt isn’t funny” I had to pick around a bit but realized she thought that 911 emergency calls were being made into fanfiction, BTS “who even are these people”, My Hero Academia “an anime? I don’t watch it. Is there any Comiket Communicate in the top ten?”, MCR “what’s that” I showed her some music and mvs “why do people like this it’s weird” to which I explained ppl were emo bc I didn’t know how else to explain and she said “my friend is a tall and skinny emo” and then wandered off

Made fun of me for thinking 53 degrees was cold. (We live in California. It is cold)

A dream she had where her friends are baking cookies but her one friend who she calls her little brother climbed into the oven

The fact that her friend group play house and she is the oldest sister

While roleplaying as a family they also roleplay that they can all turn into Eevees (this is not a one time game. They have done this for three years)

Asked me why there are so many fanfictions about BTS because she doesn’t understand how ppl can ship real people

While I was trying to explain it I accidentally mentioned the Dan and Phil real people shipping problem and she proceeded to ask me about who they are. I tried to be vague but she kept asking questions until I explained their whole online career.

Asked me what Doctor Who was and what he was a Doctor in.

Made me watch Friday Night Funkin modded videos for what felt like six hours and then had me watch her play animal crossing.

Told me that boyfriend from Friday night funkin was not good enough for girlfriend and that girlfriend should be with Sky from the Sky Mod (I don’t know what these words mean but I’m sure I agree)

Explained an Eevee YouTube fanfiction series in its entirety.

Wandered back and forth across the living room in front of me listening to music in headphones breathing incredibly loudly making me incredibly overstimulated (she’s got a cold it’s not her fault)

Explained her entire friend groups sexuality, gender and pronouns, mental illness, and the Eevee evolution they are when the rp.

Btw the first time I met her she asked me if I had ever had a fictional crush, I said yes, and she said “I only have girl fictional crushes” which through her mother for a loop she told me later, not bc she’s homophobic (she’s literally a lesbian) but because she had never met me before and was surprised how open she was around me.

Today proceeded to try to explain the nuances of bisexuality vs pansexualty. She has never been on tumblr or twitter but was definitely aware of the arguments.

Asked me what one direction is

Got mad that I named a character in a Pilot for a college film class after a girl who is her friend at a math tutoring place who I of course have never met and then yelled at me until I changed the name. I didn’t but she doesn’t know that.

Told me I need to vacuum my car. I do.

Handed me a warhead and watched me eat it with the most malicious look on her face as though she was tricking me or something.

Cooked all of her meals by herself, gets up and leaves for school on her own, does all her hw immediately, doesn’t swear, let’s the dog out every morning. Literally the most self sufficient child I have ever met (was able to do all of this three years ago when I started watching her) the only reason I’m here is in case of a freak accident or because she freaks herself out at night at can’t sleep.

Then she puts the pot she used to cook pasta on the floor for the dog to lick up…

I’m not ashamed to say that Aventurine drove me to this fandom. Because I save so much Haikaveh stuff on Pinterest, and the recommendations are visually sorted, it wasn’t long before my algorithm started mistaking Aventurine for Kaveh. 

I was very intrigued, actually— I quickly became obsessed after I saw the gay-ass lightcone. Aventio? ...Yeah, it was over for me. I started playing in late december of 2023, and I saved my pulls from the beginning to pull Aventurine ever since I knew he would be playable :) I was successful and now have a very well-built Aventurine, his lightcone and his Veritas.

Whenever we see visually distinct background characters such as most of the black tongues, do you generally have little bits of backstory in your head for them or does character creation mostly stop at visual design?

I used the Black Tongues in RP a lot, for Bastion, so they're pretty fleshed out. There was a blond Rachshanian BT named Milktoast that Bastion had a pretty ugly affair with. He was obscenely wealthy, prissy, and self-important, and mocked Bastion regularly for his fall from grace. I tried and tried to find a place in the story for him, but it just didn't work out. There was also Berdy - he's briefly in Orphans - who was Juste's cheerful chief of security who spent way too much time alone in the aerie tending and breeding the black birds. Juste also had a two-headed talking wiseass of a dog that regularly called everyone slurs, and a giant chamber specifically for demonstrating the B-theory of Time, to help Aspirants understand the khert. Old men were camped in there, living in their own filth, refusing to leave because they thought the room kept them from getting any older. Lots of weird little eunuchs.

The thing with comics is you spend a lot of time doing tedious work, so your mind wanders. You start thinking up backstories for all these NPCs as you're putting the shine on a button or flicking another whisker into their beard.

Idol Verse

Idol x Oc (There’s a couple ideas I have with this one lol)

Plot One: Jimin and oc are childhood friends and are pretty much inseparable. Before he officially became an idol, she was a casual Youtuber, just filming them together hanging out or talking about things. As he officially became an idol, she got to witness all of it, making her become more popular among the fanbase. They grow together in their careers and their relationship. They started dating right after his performance with BTS and now Jimin wants to propose, while they go to Dubai for their summer package (so 2016 BTS). 

Plot Two: Yoongi and oc met while she was recording covers of some of her favorite songs one day. He had stuck around, liking what he was hearing and wanted to work with her, just to see how they’d fit together. Not only did the two like how they did work together, but it also sparked something between them.

Like he gets dts, sexual harrasments like rp jokes for simple things like leaving out a member's name in a post, or enjoying life like a normal human but others are being defended by the fandom for the same things or covering their dating by calling it hate campaign and trending nasty things about jm even when he doesn't know or involved in that. The company & fandom never acknowledge or rather shade him for his talents and acheivements which he acheived on his own without any push or favouritism by the company or fandom when other members get alot of push by both like don't get me wrong one of the few reasons that made BTS this big is jm like without him they would have been a talented k-pop group but it's bc of his unique vocals and performance that made them the world's biggest group like yeah everyone's talented but that unique star quality jm has is something like MJ or Bey has but he's never been acknowledged by the company or fandom instead they try to convince everyone their own biased view of jm that makes him talentless, flirt or least popular of BTS who have to leach everyone to be afloat, like I'll never forgive the company, fandom or some members for some of the things they made him go through like image issues or he's less talented or he's nothing without the group or making him the transform from the most sm user to rarely posting anything when he's the one supported every little thing other members do even when they don't reciprocate the same energy or loving this fandom which doesn't care about him or think he doesn't deserve success. And at this point, I hope he just puts himself first (eventhough I know he'll do the opposite) before the group and just leave the company because he's basically blacklisted by his own company with a fandom that defends the company and other members rather than him and members who don't stand up for him when they say they are a family..

Jimin is unique, kind-hearted, generous, down to earth, talented, succesful and he has a loving family. He has everything people want either for themselves or for others and that’s why everyone is so jealous of him. And yes the hate by all different groups of people comes out of jealousy.

He has something that draws everyone to him.

He had 9 days of promotion, the bare minimum, but he showed everyone his hard work and talent. People who say his achievements were thanks to a support of his company are so laughable. We know why they say it.

You shouldn’t put yourself first, because Jimin said he wants to continue as BTS many times, but it will be hard to watch him work for a company who is downplaying him, his talents and his achievements.

YiZhan Fandom Interview with Renren !!

Preface:

In my attempt to sort out all the massive information that is generated almost daily in the BJYX fandom, I came up with an idea to interview prominent 🐢 for pointers, recommendations and advice as kind of a starter compilation kit for newbies.

Also, my intent is to provide some translations of the interviews (if you’re also interested in translating, let me know thru’ my twt acc below) for international fans and contribute my grain of salt to thin the language barriers and get to know more fans or simply, know your fave person in fandom.

With that being said, this is my first interview, so any constructive FB is welcome!

So, the first question is kind of a mandatory introduction.

Q. Please, tell us a bit about yourself. How you like to be called or how do you go by in this fandom and how long you’ve been in the swamp?

I’m Renren, but most folks call me Ren. I’m a fic writer and a szd shipper (which for new folks means I believe they’re actually in a relationship, this is also called being a tinhat lol).

I watched The Untamed in January 2021, and then watched the official BTS, and saw a shipper in the comments and was like “huh, people ship real people?” I was no stranger to shipping fictional characters (I’ve written Reylo before), but RPS was brand new to me. But the more I watched of the BTS and then the unofficial BTS, I was like, oh yeah, there’s something here. The cave BTS sealed it for me.

So, I’ve been in the pit since January/February 2021. I lurked for a long time, then joined fandom more actively in the fall of 2021, and started writing and released my first Yizhan fic in Jan 2022.

This is your first RPS? Wow, how cool is that? To debut with such a power couple! ☺️

Q. Where are you most active/ favorite place to dabble in fandom-wise?

I lurked on tumblr mostly, and read Twitter without an account. I didn’t make one until August, and I don’t think I used it to post until September/October 2021.

I think I had a different one when I signed up, but I can’t remember it - I chose it because I like tentacles lol

Both lol, I’ve always loved octopuses, I think they’re darling, but I also enjoy tentacles as a trope.

We’ll come to that later~~! There’s a question regarding that afterwards.

Q. What was your first drive/motivation to start writing about them? Would you share a link to your first fic?

It was Xiao Zhan’s lightsaber video!!! I had this idea for a Star Wars AU with the two of them, and it took me over body and soul and I finally had to write it. The first story I posted though was the first Golden Girls AU,

then the Star Wars AU came out a month later.

By the way, you guys have to go read Renren’s Golden Girls AU cos I can assure you, you are going to enjoy it SO much, if you haven’t already!!

So on to the next one!

Q. How many fics have you written so far? Which one is the one that you’re most fond of and why?

I’ve written 15 Yizhan fics so far, and drawn 10 mushroom fanarts! I’m not sure I can pick a favorite, but it’s between “Fireworks in the Stars” because it’s an original concept that I’ve been playing with for years and want to eventually write a full original novel with it, and “Houseboat of Love”, because I had so much fun with the exes-to-lovers concept. It was a bit angsty but I also wanted it to be a fun time with Xiao Zhan thirsting hard for his not-actually-ex-husband.

But I love everything I’ve published, if I don’t love it, I don’t release it.

I had totally missed that Renren’s mushroom posts are fanarts! I had to rush to see them and they are all SOSOSO Adorable, with capital A! The puns are sublime. I loved them all to bits and she has confirmed there’s more to come in the future!! Be on the look out, you guys!! 🥹🥹

Q. What’s your favorite trope to write/draw or a new one that want to try this year?

Oh, that’s hard! Because it’s different from my favorite tropes to read.

I really like to write getting together stories, especially if there is only one bed/they’re stuck together in some way.

But this is the year I’ll finally write tentacles, which is actually so much harder than I thought because a) I want to do it justice since I love it so much and b) there is SO MUCH choreography involved with all the extra limbs. You Belong in My Arms is my tentacle WIP, with chapter one out. Chapter one just has a cute octopus and tentacle kink, but no actual use of tentacles in a sexy way.

I will just restrain myself to say that Renren’s octopus is so cute like an underwater jianguo. I am hopelessly hooked to her fic that am anxiously looking forward to new chapters! But I digress…

Q. Are you bjyx, zsww or lsfy? Is this dynamic important to you when writing? (Or reading?)

So I am a bjyx-leaning lsfy. I enjoy reading everything, but I prefer writing bjyx or Yibo top lsfy.

That sounds like it’s the same thing, but the power dynamics are different between them (bjyx Yibo is IN CHARGE while it’s much more neutral in lsfy).

You mean like, Yibo makes the move? Or that he decides how he wants XZ?

Yeah, in BJYX makes most of the decisions, he’s very dominant in the bedroom and outside of it.

I like strong Yibo, indeed 😏

Q. What’s your most fave 🍬? Have you written about it? Where do you get most of your 🍬 sources?

My most favorite candy is the tattoo cpn! I have used it, most literally in an unreleased work, but I love to give both of them tattoos in my works anytime I can.

My candy sources are from Twitter (overthinkingthis, ecah, shirasagis, ventus for older candies) and tumblr (accio-victuuri), and I avoid folks sharing stalker footage or making wild claims like they know someone in the business or disparage their co-stars, because it’s harmful to the boys & just flat out rude.

I think for us newbies, we need to be careful and prudent on that and not fall for everything we see or outright edited (fake) info, cos it’s becoming harder to distinguish 😵‍ (out of my own experience)

So, the next question is selective, you can choose either or both…

A) Did you read THE fic? The controversial 22/7 one? How did you like it? How would you end it?

AND/OR

B) Do you wanna talk about wyb’s latest NYG’s LtS performance?

A) I didn’t. I didn’t even go looking for it, it has so many emotions and events attached to it, I think it’s best to just let it rest. No judgment for folks who decide to read it, though! Just my opinion.

B) Yes I do!! it was gorgeous and emotional, all about the yearning and longing you feel when you’re away from your partner and the bright warmth you feel when you’re back with them. It felt real, like he was pulling it from the depths of his soul.

It’s raw and vulnerable, and he did such a good job, I’m so proud of him! (And no, I don’t think it’s a breakup song or born from anything other than long distance relationships being hard.)

That performance was so heartfelt indeed 🥲

Q. Who is a content creator (writer, artist, v/blogger… etc) you would rec to a newbie? (Name as many as you wish) And lastly, a piece of advice for newbie 🐢!

Oh gosh, so many people! It’s hard to not just list all of my friends lol.

OldObsess/Overthinkingthis is a fantastic writer and candy librarian, her fics have great footnotes with all the different things she references in her fics.

Elisamiao is another amazing writer and she is so supportive of new writers in the fandom. I call her the fandom’s librarian because she is fantastic at fic recommendations, and can find what you’re looking for so fast!

Jalpari runs great events, and is a prolific writer, her Yizhan Through the Years is the first/second most kudos’d fic in the fandom. She is also very supportive of new authors/artists in the fandom!

BJYXObsessed is hilarious, her fics are so good and her meme threads are laugh out loud funny, I see them all over the place as reaction memes.

Bjyxnoa is a great update account on Twitter, and for deep cpn and candy discussions I like to go to Accio-victuuri on tumblr.

A piece of advice I have for new turtles is to not worry too much about proof of their relationship. They don’t have to prove anything to us, and each person has to decide for themselves how to interpret the things they do tell us. Everyone has their own “realness” comfort level, and that’s okay! It’s okay to be 100% szd and it’s okay to not be!

Lastly, their privacy is extremely important. Stalker footage is wrong, even if it “proves” what you want to see.

And don’t break the fourth wall with them, for example, if Yibo makes another Instagram post, don’t flood the comments with shipper comments, their social accounts are for work, and so we should keep our comments to the individual and the work they’re doing.

Since you seem to be litigating rpf right now and since you’ve been around awhile, I wanted to ask you about how it’s evolved, if you haven’t already talked about that? I’ve been in fandom for maybe 15ish years, and I remember reading a lot of rpf back then (when rps seemed like more common terminology), and I feel like there were more defined lines between fans and the real people they wrote about. A lot of “if you got here by googling yourself, go back” disclaimers vs the current culture where some fans seem to show the people or ask them about fic and art and other fan works. It’s like there was a culture of secrecy before where there was less of a desire for the fanworks to ever reach their subjects, rpf or otherwise. I think most rpf writers/creators still feel that way, but I see so many awkward interview panels where actors/etc are being asked about fanfic. Is this in my head, or is the shift real?

Heh. Well, I was never a fan of any boy bands or the like until bitten by the BTS bug. I didn't even know who BSB and NSYNC were at the height of their popularity. So I did not always have a front-row seat to RPF evolution, but as far as I know, it went something like this in English-speaking spaces:

Prehistory: 1960s magazines were full of "Your night on a date with [member of the Monkees]" type stories. Music RPF was floating around in various forms for a long, long time, though the m/m band member/band member stuff tended to be extremely locked down, often with the names replaced.

From Eroica with Love shows how horny everybody was for Led Zeppelin back then. I can only presume there were doujinshi of the members in Japanese, but I'm not really familiar with what was going on over there.

Idols & Visual Kei: English-speaking fandom of Asian groups was into RPF by the early 00s and perhaps before. I was tangentially aware of this stuff from being in anime fandom but wasn't interested because I wasn't into most of the music itself. (Also, this was the era of limewire computer viruses or paying like $60 to get a Japanese album legally in the US.)

Johnny's Entertainment fandom is what I associate with this, circa 2001. On the visual kei side, people were shipping Malice Mizer around then.

Godawful 2003 vampire movie Moon Child, starring Gackt (of Malice Mizer and solo fame) and Hyde of L'Arc~en~Ciel (yes, with a fucking tilde) did make people ship their characters but certainly did not dissuade people from shipping the guys themselves.

Popslash - Ye olde slash fandom converts: On the very, very Western side of things, all of the oldschool slashers started catching the RPF bug for "popslash" in the late 90s/early 00s. Prior to this, RPF was a HARD NO for much of this crowd and continued to be seen as a dirty secret. This umbrella term was intended for specifically BSB, NSYNC, and a few other pop stars, not just fic of any pop act. I don't know if people were calling it "RPS". I think they were just calling it "popslash", but I wasn't on the mailing lists and things. This was a pre-LJ era with that older infrastructure.

LOTR - Ye olde slash fandom converts again: Those that didn't get sucked in by popslash fell to LotRiPS when the Lord of the Rings movies came out in the early 00s. RPS was still seen as a shocking dirty secret before the advent of this fandom. Afterwards... people still hated it, but they'd realized there was no way to fully keep it out of their spaces. This also coincided with the move from the bajillions of LOTR (non RPF) archives with picky rules and mailing lists ruled with an iron fist to LJ with people's personal blogs full of their ungovernable wrong opinions and terrible taste in fandoms on display for all the world to see.

There was so much structured behind the scenes material for the LOTR movies that it formed a kind of canon of its own along with the press tours, and the actors were cuddly with each other. I don't think this is easy to understand now. Even the Hobbit movies didn't have this vibe, and there's so much more behind the scenes info and so many more youtube clips for everything now that the effect is much diminished. At the time, LOTR felt like a new era in sff franchise media.

There was tons of any two gu... um... somewhat generic hot porn, so even if you didn't care much for RPF, it became an attractive fandom. At this point, people were calling it "RPS", not "RPF", despite there being some femslash and het in the same spaces as all the Viggo/Orlando. The domlijah tinhats were notorious and did go bother the actors, I think?

The height of this fandom coincided with the height of cringey photomanips and "Why are their necks broken?" art with actors' faces on it. Fanartist The Theban Band was well known, though more for FPF than RPF. It's just that when you use the actual actors' faces, things tend to get conflated. Now, whether people started bothering most of the actors at the time in the early 00s, I don't know. Fanlore suggests that misuse of The Theban Band's art was already well underway in 2004. It's also often this stuff that Graham Norton bothers actors with years later.

It's not so much that fandom or RPF fandom changed at this point as that new people were into RPF who hadn't been before and much more importantly, the internet was changing. The level of access to actors and the level of awareness of online fandoms was changing radically around here. It changed again with Twitter and so forth, but this was still a major point in internet history.

Rockfic: "Rockfic" as seen on the Rockfic archive got started at some point. They meant Metallica, Bon Jovi, etc. I mostly know about them because there was beef between them and some of the popslash and bandom people around the time OTW was starting. (Popslash and bandom but not rockfic communities being well represented among OTW founders.)

Bandom: "Bandom" is another umbrella term with a general sound but a specific meaning. It was used for Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, and associated bands. This RPF fandom got big on LJ at the height of LJ fandom. It sucked in plenty of Western fandoms types who hadn't been into RPF before.

At the time, some of these bands and their associates weren't that famous, and they had personal Livejournals. It was not unusual for people peripherally involved with the actual people to be in the same spaces as the RPF. This was very much not appreciated by a lot of the fic authors. Band reactions seem to have varied between "yuck" and "Why doesn't anyone ship MEEEE? Don't you think I'M hot???" and other jokey lack of boundaries stuff.

A lot of the "Go away, X" disclaimers that sound like jokes are from this era and are due to some of these people actively going looking for the lulz.

Hockey - The final nail in the coffin for ye olde slash fandom: If the Popslash and LotRiPS waves didn't get people, Hockey did. After SGA, all the big slash writers that people follow from fandom to fandom seemed to be going to Hockey RPF.

Asianfanfics.com: Meanwhile, on the Asian media side of things, sites like Asianfanfics have been going strong for ages and are full of kpop rpf and the like.

Wattpad: Wattpad was the home of not only the Larries but of soooo much more Mary Sue/1D guy, and now Mary Sue/Jungkook.

How the boundaries are really depends on the era and the fandom.

The Rockfic archive used to make you pay a buck to sign up or something. It was extremely locked down, from what I remember, as you'd expect from a very old community writing m/m about macho bands.

The hockey people don't tend to be all up in players' faces because the players were mega, mega, mega famous long before the RPF fandom got big and because half the fandom doesn't even like sports: they're just there for the m/m AUs.

The Wattpad fandoms are a toxic hive of no boundaries and 13-year-olds posting their porn and too much personal info, but with fandoms as big as 1D or BTS, you can figure that plenty of individual people behave themselves.

Asking actors about fic in panels has become more common over the years, I think, though people have also learned to head it off better. I wouldn't say this is a RPF-specific phenomenon though.

Falando da minha vivência nas tags: eu não consigo ver por um lado bom os casais homoafetivos que usam fcs asiáticos na >RP BR<, porque são sempre as mesmas mulheres cis (e a maioria hétero) fazendo esse tipo de personagem e recentemente fui negada a plots por ser uma personagem feminina. Além de tudo, são machistas. A pessoa que usava um BTS da vida até chegou a me dizer o seguinte: "a gente pode se conhecer, mas não vou dar plots porque meu personagem é gay". Como se eu quisesse ship. Além de fetichista, é muito machista e sexista. Fora que, em outra comunidade, tive o desprazer novamente de ver amigas minhas sendo perseguidas (pelas mesmas pessoas, mesmo grupinho) em seus personagens masc por essas pessoas, e sempre usando fcs asiáticos. A maioria forçando trisal, que não foi correspondido e acabou em uma pizza muito mal feita e intragável. O problema em si não é a krp br ou kfcs, mas as pessoas que usam, que são problemáticas e doentias demais. E gente, outro ponto... Às vezes usar nomes e culturas que vocês desconhecem não é representar e sim ofender. O tanto de gente que já vi colocando nomes, sobrenomes e características sem noção só porque o fc era asiático e enfiando tudo na bunda como se fosse normal. Não dá! É melhor americanizar o nome e adaptar como sabe. Isso também é representar sem estereotipar.

Quando você citou "as mesmas mulheres cis fazendo esse tipo de personagem", um grupo muito específico veio na minha mente e te falar, mesmo com um char de fc asiático e solteiro, me negaram plots (e depois descobri que foi porque não era bias das bonitas, só consegui rir, adorei desenvolver sem ter contato com aqueles chars). Odeio quando isso rola, se não negam o plot, te deixam no vácuo como se sua mensagem nunca chegou, as vezes, me pergunto porque curtem o call de plot se não vão responder, mas isso é assunto para outro momento... Vou me sentir a fofoqueira aqui, mas quero comentar a ask toda, me perdoe, pompurin.

O que a sexualidade do personagem tá relacionado com o plot que pode fechar com sua char, né? Se não for nada romântico, nem devia ser pauta. Se juntasse todos os comentários de perseguição nesse naipe que eu tenho, dava para fazer um livro, porque tem muitos casos assim, uso um asian e quando vejo, tem outros correndo atrás para fechar conexão de romance ou de envolvimento sexual, isso é muito ruim e desconfortável; não sei vocês, mas meu maior ódio é quem só se importa com cnn de relacionamento, existe tanto para desenvolver fora isso.

O assunto trisal sempre vou ligar com casos como personagens não monogâmicos e quem quer meter BDSM nas coisas, em sua grande maioria, a pessoa só usa o que leu em fanfic e nunca foi atrás para saber como é. Acham legal colocar um trisal e usam dos estereótipos mais básicos do mundo, literalmente aqueles que usam em fanfics aleatórias; sinceramente, fico ofendida quando vejo esses pontos sendo tratados de forma tão vaga e que, nitidamente, tá sendo feita com a bunda. São poucos que fazem pesquisa, que buscam entender do assunto antes de colocar no char. Não é porque você viu em uma história de fã ou leu uma thread no twitter que pode seguir as coisas e achar que não vai ofender, porque ofende sim, principalmente quando feito de qualquer jeito e por puro "prazer". No caso de trisal, só vejo gente falando que tem porque não consegue escolher entre eles, mas não colocam os desafios e a cumplicidade de todas as partes... Chega a ser ridículo. Como uma pessoa com inclinação para o poliamor, até evito me aproximar quando vejo, porque sei que vai sair merda que vai me estressar. Quer fazer isso, beleza, faz, mas pesquisa antes para não fazer coisas desrespeitosas.

O problema em si não é a krp br ou kfcs, mas as pessoas que usam, que são problemáticas e doentias demais.

Já disse tudo. O problema tá nas pessoas, não é porque jogam na tag x que o problema é da tag e todos que estão ali são assim, o problema tá na pessoa que acha esse comportamento legal e saudável, mas não é! Óbvio que uma pessoa só não vai estragar o lugar, mas se existem outras, o resultado tá aí, uma parcela que faz essas coisas ruins e suja a parcela que não faz, é triste, mas todos pagam pelo erro ao estarmos em conjunto.

E gente, outro ponto... Às vezes usar nomes e culturas que vocês desconhecem não é representar e sim ofender. O tanto de gente que já vi colocando nomes, sobrenomes e características sem noção só porque o fc era asiático e enfiando tudo na bunda como se fosse normal. Não dá! É melhor americanizar o nome e adaptar como sabe. Isso também é representar sem estereotipar.

Resolvi destacar esse final por ser interessante, quando comecei a falar dos fcs tailandeses foi, justamente, para que as pessoas não fizessem coisas absurdas, que pudessem ofender. Tudo porque participei de locais que usavam nomes estranhos para asiáticos, pesquisar não demora nada e não é difícil, pesquisa um nome e um sobrenome legal pro seu char, não saí "inventando" ou pegando qualquer coisa porque ofende as culturas. Tem cada nome absurdo espalhado por ai, só Deus na causa. A pessoa só vira chacota nos grupos do tg, porque todo mundo comenta sobre, seja para zoar ou para simplesmente falar sobre; se você não sabe sobre a cultura do fc que quer usar, faz uma pesquisa, pede ajuda para amigos, recorre aos helpers/talkers, faz qualquer coisa para aprender e não sair ofendendo terceiros. Depois de muito texto, acho que finalizamos, agradeço por sua ask, pompurin, gostei muito de responder já que desenvolvi temas que vinha segurando tinha um tempo.

EDIT: Esqueci de citar a seletividade que existe com fcs, não podemos esquecer que é frequente a seletividade das pessoas para fcs, só fecham conexão/inter se for o fc pop e que gosta, se for um "who", raramente vai ter coisas muito profundas. São tantos pontos para falar...

000.  basics

hi, i’m ness and i’m looking for rp partners in doubles rp on discord.

so yeah, i'm looking for people who are willing to rp oc x idol for me. in exchange, i will do oc x idol or idol x idol for you. i write a couple of groups and soloists, but i might add more once i get to know the members better. please only request groups i already listed below for your side of the rp.

001.  guidelines

you must be twenty or older.

you must also be familiar with tupperbox, or willing to learn about it.

i will write all kinds of ships, like m/f, f/f, m/nb, nb/nb, etc.

i am not comfortable writing smut with idols, but things can still get pretty heated. i'm still open to suggestive themes and fade-to-black for implied smut, just not explicit detail.

semi-lit to literate partners. i write a minimum of 2 paragraphs per response, and i only write in 3rd person pov & present tense.

i'm looking for partners who are okay with lax activity. i'm talking okay with only one response a week, and no hounding for faster replies. this is a hobby, and i intend to keep it fun and light.

put in effort for both sides of the roleplay. if you only consistently reply with long paragraphs to your side of the rp, i expect you do the same for my side. if i feel you're not putting any effort in my side of the rp at all, i will talk to you about it. if it continues, i will drop both rps.

lastly, i'm here to have fun, and i want you to feel the same way. if anything i say or do makes you uncomfortable, please let me know and i'll remedy it. if you feel better dropping the rp and distancing from me, you may let me know or just do what's best for you.

don't worry if you send it an ask, because it will not be published. i might not also rp with everyone who reaches out if i don't like the plot or i feel like our writing styles won't match. i'll still let reach out and see if we can compromise.

003.  the banned list

i’m very into dark plots and themes, but i won't say no to lighter themes and plots. i'm pretty adaptable, however i do get bored if there's no action going on. it doesn't have to be majorly earth-shattering or some extreme conflict.

i'm just asking if you want to say do a domestic plot, please introduce some kind of conflict. maybe there's a reservation they had planned weeks ago, but someone made a scheduling mistake, so now they have to choose between the dinner reservation or the job meeting. or maybe someone's just running late while the other's already waiting at the restaurant. just something to keep the excitement going, and it's not just tooth-rotting fluff all the time.

these, however, are banned plots / themes that i will not do whatsoever:

idols being themselves as idols

abo dynamics or omegaverse

homophobic / transphobic / xenophobic / etc. themes

004.  conclusion

i promise i'm not super mean or strict as my post suggests. like i am happy to just chat with my partners about anything and everything, it doesn't even have to be about our rp. i'm also happy to share like inspo posts, musings, headcanons, or pinterest boards about our rps, so don't be put off.
