speaking of bunker 9, leo keeps a bulletin board full of photos with you and all your friends next to his workbench! when working on a particularly hard project, he’ll look over at the photos for some motivation.

there’s nothing better than successfully convincing leo to come to bed, especially during those cold winter nights. he’s basically a big heater that can walk and talk. and leo’s super duper big on cuddling so it’s even better. why invest in a heater when you have him?

LMFAO it’s so funny when it’s summer and he’s basically on his knees begging for cuddles 😭 it’s only then that he curses his strangely high body temperature.

i also think it’s canon that leo’s a good cook…?? so you’re always eating good with him!! he just loves seeing your reaction to his food, especially when it’s your cultural food. leo knows how important it is to you and to know he could provide some semblance of what you grew up with, it makes him beyond happy.

when it comes to you, leo’s so incredibly supportive with everything you do. the minute you even slightly hint about picking up a new hobby, he’s already encouraging you to do it.

he gets so upset when he gets those “these initials are soulmates” videos and your initials aren’t together 😭 one time you woke up to an entire essay-length text from him explaining why you two are extremely compatible in response to a video that said “these initials aren’t compatible”

leo’s VERY attentive, especially when it comes to you. at this point, it’s like he knows you better than you know yourself. he always knows what you’re gonna say simply by your reaction. his brain literally goes “oh her right eyebrow raised slightly, i think she likes it!” and he ends up being right too.. 😭

this also makes him the best gift giver ever! it could’ve been something you barely mentioned before bed, but he made a point to remember it and surprises you with it.

he also likes to make you little gadgets that you never would’ve even thought of but are so helpful. one day you walk into your bathroom and leo’s sitting there polishing his newest project, and he tells you it’s a towel heater he made for you???

leo absolutely loves your family and will do everything in his power to build a close relationship with them. he knows how happy it makes you and he also just genuinely enjoys their company too! ooh and if you have siblings, especially if they’re younger, he just adores them to death…UGH he’s so so good with kids.

Honestly, the initial development of obsession isn't much different, other than that he'll try to learn everything about your species' biology and behaviours. (DO NOT SEARCH UP B+W TEGU COURTSHIP HABITS)

From there he'll try to woo you using said courtship habits- except the one thing that's cursed.

He doesn't notice this, but he starts decorating things in a black and white pattern- hell- bro might make his newest inventions tegu-themed rather than turtle-themed.

Fun fact: Tegus are one of the more affectionate reptiles. And he will use it to his advantage. If you show him too much friendliness he'll become delusional and think you like him back a bit.

Since Tegus loves meat and fruits, he'll try to eat more meat/fruits to seem like "a worthy dude to date" type shit. Istg you could literally see him eating those foods way more than he usually does all of the sudden.

The biggest thing is he'll try to use your biology to get you to like him while doing his other yan behaviours ofc.

"Hey, Y/n!" Donnie greets, eating a bowl of some food.

"Hey. What are you eating?" They mutter as they lean over a bit to peer down into the bowl. Their tongue flicks in-and-out a bit, expressing that they're comfortable in their current environment.

"Oh haha-" He chuckles confidently, perhaps even cockily, "Just some chicken and mango." He eats another spoonful of the food, trying his absolute best to look cool in front of his crush.

The lizard mutant raises an eyebrow muscle in confusion, "Isn't that...An odd food combination for you?" They notice he grimaces just the slightest bit when the food touches his mouth.

"Nah~ I'm enjoying this a lot! It's the perfect sweet and salty~" Internally he was gagging, he did not like this combination. But he lived with it, all in hopes the Tegu in front of him would seem him as a more appealing guy.

"Ok, whatever you say, dude." They walk off, heading to where Mikey was to see what crazy ideas he was up to.

As soon as they were out of eyesight, Donnie opened his mouth to let the food that was sitting in his mouth be spat out again. "Ugh...I should have picked a better combination..."

Rise Diana

Again not super different in terms of the initial yan development. But, there are a few differences.

I think the biggest thing is when you're shedding. He is more protective and is careful no one disturbs the process (unless if you actually request help). If he's kidnapped you, then he'll force you to soak in a tub that he's made- (nothing weird ofc).

He's also very strict about you eating foods that are strictly similar to your Tegu diet. Sure he makes a few exceptions, but he's pretty pushy about having you eat food groups pertained to your animal part's biology. (Ex. no dairy)

Similar to 2012 Donnie he'll try to do SOME of the courtship things, but only if he's comfortable with them. Because he is not as desperate as 2012 Donnie is. (Sorry I had to say it) But- he will try his own methods more to get you to like him.

His favourite thing to do is give you small little metalwork gifts with a Tegu theme. And perhaps a turtle and Tegu with hearts around them.

Overall, much tamer in terms of differences compared to 2012 Donnie. He's just strict about following your biology make-up (without it being too weird to the human world ofc. You're not completely feral lmao)

Donnie was in his lab, creating a gift for his beloved with his metalwork skills. He was currently creating a small key chain, with a tegu and turtle sitting by side with a big heart above them as a charm for the key chain. He did the metalwork, and he could probably paint it himself, but he wanted it to be perfect, so he'll ask his brother, Mikey to do it for him.

"Hm...The shape is still not satisfactory." He mumbles to himself as he tweaks the shape of the turtle's head. This was a gift for his dear, and he ensured himself he needed it to be perfect, and that's what he'll serve.

He could already imagine their little tongue flicking in joy when he presents it to them. As his work was nothing short but absolute perfection. He always found their tongue-flicking adorable, not that he would outwardly admit it though.

"Dearest love of mine, I hope you love my admiration for you." He whispers to himself, trying to hype himself up for the time he would gift them the key chain.

And what more couldn't be cuter than a reptile couple?

[Jack 8/10]

• ♡Jack gives off tsundere vibes. Besides the fact that he is constantly in denial, he's a very caring boyfriend, nuturing, and all that jazz. He is always trying his best to get approval from his S/O, but he never outright says that he craves for their praise and gratitude. Jack doesn't really offer his help if he knows his S/O is struggling with something. Instead, he gives them encouragement. He makes sure to often check in with his lover, though, and is always there if they need a shoulder to cry on. (though he isn't great with offering advice. Words are hard, you know?) He's always ready to step in if their physically in danger.

The relationship is fairly normal and overall uneventful, not to say it isn't a loving one. The biggest side effect, tho is that Jack's lover gotta deal with his friend group, so that sucks. they have definitely been dragged into afew reckless decisions, much to Jack's disliking. Nevertheless, he couldn't hope for anything better. ♡

[Deuce 9.5/10]

• ♡Deuce is as clueless as ever, but such a sweetheart. His mama taught him right and is such a gentleman. He is so adorable, trying his best to be suave when he asks to hold his lovers hand or if he can hug them, any form of physical touch really. He often daydreams of his S/O when he's in class, too! All he wants to do is sweep his lover off their feet and be their knight in shining armor.

He's always there to help, even though to most he looks more like a pushover rather than a helper - but he's still such a sweetheart. He sucks with comforting anyone verbally. He just can't think of anything to say when someone is going through a hard time, but he will offer water and a nice hug if needed. (His heart is literally made of gold.) The relationship over all is just wholesome and teeth rottingly sweet . Of course, there's always the teasing from Ace, and that little shit does not hold back. Deuce will forever be flustered, but I'm sure his S/O doesn't mind.♡

He's always grinning and constantly wants to show off to his S/O, wanting them to know how much of a man he is. But he's always able to slow down if his lover needs someone to talk to about problems they are having, even if Epel can't relate to some of their issues.(his advice? Clock whatever is upsetting them in the face.) The relationship is chaotic and fun-loving and just over all a wild ride. He will most definitely NOT take the blame if Vil finds out you're both causing trouble though, needs to keep his head after all.♡

♡•Doesn't know anything about dating, and doesn't understand it either. Why date when Malleus is all you need? He has a long way to go before knowing at least what first base is. that's how inexperienced he is. He talks way too much about malleus, but he's trying his best. pls- give him a break. But once sebek and his lover finally get there after much trial and error, they are HIS person. He goes to them for EVERYTHING. He loves talking about anything and everything to his S/O. He's not much of a listener and is easily flustured when it comes to trying to comfort someone, but lord knows papa Lilia is there to give(poor) advice when needed.
