#BUT i hate doing laboratory stuff in chem i'm way more into the theory bits. that sparks joy. #i might be the only person who'd rather attend theory than pracs :/ #so while i might convince my parents to let me pursue a bachelor of sciences in chemistry (since its still a science field #and that's what they're hellbent about) #i am not sure if i will enjoy it #B U T if i get through the four years of bsc i could opt for a strictly theoretical masters degree and things would work out #i could end up a professor or something #i'm sorry i'm just projecting thoughts into the blue taggy area and seeing what sticks #what i'll major in ended up being a dining table conversation so i'm more on edge than usual #i hate it when i've managed to super successfully compartmentalize important shit that triggers intense sad's and #other people decide to caaaasually bring it up #ugh sorry ignore me #i'll go finish this lecture and hopefully someday stop ranting in the tags huh :< #shey rambles
