ARISE Q&A (pt2)
Due to the massive views of the first Q&A, the production decided to do another live stream once the band's current schedule is cleared up. So by the time Saturday hits, the team sets up the platform and commences the live stream. There are already past 3k people waiting and the numbers keep growing when the boys appear. Today's setting is a couch with a bunch of pillows. The members wear casual clothes this time, and to the audience's surprise, Jong-in has decided to wear a white cardigan instead of a suit. Turns out, the boys have slept late and didn't have time to choose outfits and just grabbed the first thing they saw in their wardrobes.
[ Welcome to the second part of getting to know ARISE! First, how is everyone doing? Looks like you guys had a lot of fun last night. ]
LTG: heck yeah! We watched a lot of movies and played video games.
BYH: however, the reason why we took so long is that neither Byung-gyu and Jin-woo wants to lose. Those two are gaming fanatics!
SJW: to be fair, I was winning. Byung-gyu just decided to cheat.
MBG: that's called being smart, dumbass.
SJW: the technique you used doesn't even exist!
MBG: nah, dude. You're just bitter.
CJI: can we start the questions? I don't want to witness a puppy fight in here.
[ to all— have any of you considered dying your hair a different color? ]
CJI: nope.
BYH: yeah. It was white and just like the ones you see in music videos. As awesome it looks, especially when the effects made it glow, I like my orange hair color better.
SJW: I'm good with my black hair.
LTG: sheesh, emo! Anyways, I tried to dye my hair light brown when I was in college. Needless to say, I looked like an American and never did it again.
MBG: I did. Although it's just the tips of my hair.
LTG: ohhh what color did you use?
MBG: green.
CJI: do you have a picture of it?
MBG: heck no. Why would I show it to you guys?
[ to all— who writes songs in the group? ]
CJI: well, when we were just newbies in the industry, we had this small group of people who write songs for us. Then we practiced singing the lyrics before they went to the final draft.
LTG: yeah until they got fired.
CJI: yep, they got fired.
[ oh no, what happened? ]
CJI: what happened? Our manager caught them attempting to steal lyrics from others, including the ones from the 70s, and in their defense, they were running out of ideas, but Mr. Woo didn't accept their reasons because it was still plagiarism and kicked them out.
BYH: and that was when Byung-gyu came in.
LTG: hyung came up to our manager and handed him the lyrics he had written by himself. Mr. Woo couldn't be happier.
SJW: to sum up the answers, Byung-gyu writes most of our songs. And sometimes, if he's a bit busy, Mr. Woo calls for some backup songwriters and had Byung-gyu to revise it if he wanted.
LTG: now thanks to Byung-gyu, the band freaking took another genre.
MBG: I thought you liked it?
LTG: dude, you wrote a lot of love songs and my single ass couldn't handle singing to a relationship I never had.
SJW: you even cried in the end.
LTG: I freaking cried in the end!
[ to Choi Jong-in— why do you like fire so much? ]
CJI: hm, I don't know. But the first time I felt an affinity toward it was when I got fascinated by the fireworks that my mom had to pull me away from getting burned. And oh! I used to have a habit of burning ants with a lighter and sometimes with a magnifying glass and a leaf when I was a kid.

LTG: who allowed a kid to commit massacre on ants?
SJW: when I was kid, I only watched ants on the pavement. Are you a psycho?
MBG: you sound terrifying as a child.

LTG: *snorts*
BYH: nothing interesting about it. I just chose it because white tigers are my favorite animal and 47 is my father and mother's birthdates. Why did I include the word 'king' in it? Well, because I am.
CJI: wrong. You're a peasant.

[ to all— when did Choi Jong-in and Baek Yoon-ho start dating? ]

LTG, SJW, & MBG: *burst out laughing*

SJW: stop treating me like a kid! I can handle myself! If anything, I'd support Mr. Woo because he deserves to rest after all the work he's been doing.
CJI: you're only supporting the idea is so that you can do whatever you want without anyone yelling at you.

LTG: *places hand on his chest in faux heartbreak* it's painful!
MBG: I'm fine with it, actually. It is not surprising how fans are crazier toward Mr. Woo than the rest of us.
BYH: *scoffs* don't humble yourself, Byung-gyu. We know that you once wrote a song about it when the audience cheered louder when Mr. Woo was hosting one of our concerts.

BYH: yeah! It's more like a bitter poem for him.

CJI: I could care less. It doesn't matter to me if the manager has more popularity than the band itself. I sing, I perform, that's it.
LTG: is it me or do Yoon-ho and Jong-in sound more matured than the three of us?
SJW: clearly, they don't have a little sister.

LTG: my first bow and arrow! Even though I have another, I still keep it somewhere in my room.
CJI: that velvet coat. I heard that the designers are going to keep it, but I didn't let go of the opportunity to claim it, so in that way, I wouldn't have to waste money to buy one.
BYH: in the last day of shooting, I stole that black mane I wore as a costume and I've been using it as a pillow ever since.
MBG: I'm not interested in props that much, but the only thing I brought with me was that random water bottle with messy doodles. I wasn't sure if it was a prop, but I just took it because I was the only one who hadn't taken anything.
LTG: dude, that must've belonged to the music video's director.
MBG: oh crap.
SJW: hmm. . . I have that crystal ball, a dagger, that goblin's head, the black ant figurine, the mace Byung-gyu used during filming and didn't want to take home, and. . . Oh! That ugly-looking statue too.
CJI: you took that all?
BYH: shhhh! There is an unspoken rule between us to never ask the reasons behind the props we take home, remember?

CJI: damn, this is quite hard. . . I mean, all of us had made our manager's blood boil at some point.

MBG: what's with choosing love songs??
CJI: he's bitter that he's still single. Understand him.
MBG: *scoffs* then that's not my problem.
LTG: jerk. Anyways, what I like about collaborating with Jin-woo is that. . . Well, I guess I like singing with him in general.

LTG: yep.
MBG: I— don't tell me you mentioned my name just to spite me.

CJI: I'd say mid. I can't see things from the distance which is why I have to wear contacts during performances sometimes.
LTG: funny story! When Jin-woo hid his contact lens, Jong-in walked around the studio and every time he saw some person with black hair, he cursed at them because he thought it was Sung.
SJW: I had a good laugh at that!
CJI: it's your fault! I had to lower my pride and apologize to each of them!
SJW: it's satisfying to see you say sorry to people.

LTG: ideal date? Well, I've always wanted to watch a sports competition with someone.
CJI: I'd rather go to the movies and eat in some restaurant.
BYH: I don't have an exact preference. But I guess as long as I'm with this person, I'm good.
MBG: I'd like to go for something simple. Even though I'm famous, I prefer to be simple and cheap because my halmeoni taught me that it's not just about the efforts that makes a date great, but the amount of love you put into it. My hometown has plenty of beautiful places, so it's perfect, and there is something about them that makes it special for someone who is equally special.
SJW: my ideal date is not entirely big, just places like amusement parks are enough and perhaps even at home where I'll be the one to cook instead of going out. I also like the idea of watching the stars with someone.
LTG, CJI, & BYH: . . .
LTG: did you just call me worthless in different languages?
BYH: Jin-woo went from being the least person to be romantic to being the most romantic real quick.
CJI: I can't tell if you two have done this already or these just your plans.

MBG: and probably dances better than Jin-woo if he puts his instructions into demos.

CJI: nope. I doubt that my dad even watches my performances, let alone see his son, but I elect not to care about it. However, my friend from Germany often made sure to stop by the rehearsals whenever he's in the country. Shout out to you, Lennart!
BYH: my family lives outside of the country so. . . But they do watch the concerts and music videos on YouTube.
MBG: same answer as Yoon-ho, but my grandma is the one who keeps track of my performances and even made her friends get into it.
LTG: my family sometimes stops by and needless to say, they criticize me quicker than my own manager. "Tae-gyu! Look at your bandmates! Why are yours different?" "Tae-gyu! Easy on your vocals otherwise you'll shatter the mirrors!"
SJW: my sister stops by the studio after school sometimes. Not just to see me, but to see Woo Jin-chul and shrugs off my existence.

SJW: at least my mom and dad pay more attention to me, so I'm satisfied.
MBG: Mrs. Sung is the best! She always bring food for the five of us and is one of the most loving people I've ever known. She reminds me of my mom too.

XVII. Gifts
Hi guys, I know I´m a terrible at posting, but you know, Christmas is coming and whole this year is crazy. So I´m very sorry this chapter is quiet short. Hope you enjoy it anyway :)

You look like you sleep as well as I was.” Jae-Bong greets him with tired eyes. He didn’t say anything and head behind the house to the barn where they took body of the dead man.
“I was awake all night, listening to every crack. I was worried that Miho will sneak inside the barn and see it.”
Man was laid on the big table covered by old sheet. He started to stink and Jae-Bong needs all his strength to not throw up. Yeong shin experienced worse.
“Miho was running around our house again.”
“If that’s a problem...” big man spoke through piece of cloth pressed to his face.
“No. He is a good kid. Nilah really likes him.”
Yeongshin was glad when he saw Jae-Bong’s son in the morning. He knew that he will be the best companion for Nilah. She had bad, restless nigh and woke up pale and tired. But she smiled at him and let him go, even though he wanted to stay with her.
“I didn’t noticed this, when we found him yesterday.” For the first time, he was really sick.
“Oh no...” Jae-Bong growl and leave the barn with pale face.
Man on the table had cut off his manhood. His crotch was just bloody mess.
Yeong shin covered him again and followed Jae-Bong outside.
Leader of village was sitting on the ground, white as snow with cold sweat on his forehead.
“I never saw something like this.” He mumbled and took little flask from his vest. It looked almost same like Byung Chul used to have. “Someone killed him and then violated the body?”
“No, I don’t think so.” Yeong shin sat down next to him and accepted the flask with alcohol. It was weaker than Byung Chul’s. “Someone who did this wants his victim to suffer. He enjoyed the torture. He did this and then beheads him.”
“But why? I don’t understand...” Jae-Bong hides his face in palms.
“It looks like revenge.” Yeong shin lay on his back with hands behind his head. “There is nothing we can do.” He thought how such a beautiful day could have so terrible secret. There really was nothing to do. He wasn’t investigator. He was best in tracking and there were no tracks. He search surrounding of that place, but only footprints were his or Jae-Bong’s. It was almost unnatural how clean of track that place was. The murderer knows what to do and how to hide his presence.
“Yeong shin!! Father!” Miho’s Scream stops his heart.
“Miho? What is it?”
Boy was running to them with wide eyes. He barely can catch his breath. His face red and hair damp with sweat.
“Some weird man is heading to your house!” he stuttered that few word with struggle.
Yeong shin’s stomach drop and his blood froze.
He didn’t wait, grab his rifle and run. He didn’t care about Jae-Bong shouting behind him, or Minho trying to run with him. He was glad that kid can’t keep up. If that weird man is ‘that’ weird man, it will be bloody fight and he didn’t want him to see.
His lungs were burning when he run like insane. His muscles working with urge.
He run through the village, people were shouting and getting out of his way. But he didn’t care. He was trying so desperately to behave from their first day here, and now he act like rogue. They will leave if they have to. He was ready to sacrifice their house and life here. He was ready to sacrifice everything, just not Nilah.
He approaches the house. Everything looks fine from the outside, but he did not trust that sign and run inside.
And then he saw him.
Siting in their kitchen with wide smile on his face was Cho Beom Pal in all his glory.
Yeongshin lean on the wall and slide to the ground. His lungs hurt and heart missing the beats. Weird man, of course.
“Is that you my friend? You look like you see a ghost!” came laughter through loud buzzing in his ears.
He pressed his hot and damp forehead to cold metal of his rifle and closed his eyes because he starts to see light dots. “I should stay with His highness and hunt the dead. It was calmer life.” He mumbled and tried to catch his breath.
“Oh gods Yeong shin? What happened?” Nilah’s worried face appeared before him and dark shadows were dancing around.
“He throws himself inside like thunderstorm. I think he will pass out?” Beom Pal’s voice was coming from far.
“Yeong shin?” Nilah pressed damp cold cloth on the back of his neck and give him cup with cold water. “What happened? Are you hurt?” she was really worried and was trying to find any injury.
“I’m good. It’s nothing. Just Miho making mess.” He smiled and closed his eyes for a few seconds. He needs to calm his heart, nerves and brain. Wipe out all that disasters he was imaging.

Nilah looked happy to see him. She was serving food and opened the bottle of soju.
“What are you doing here my lord?” she pours him a drink and one for Yeong shin. He drinks it with one gulp and pours himself another. His hands were still shaking.
Beom Pal’s face light up with pure happiness.
“I’ve got gifts for you two.”
“Gifts?” Yeong shin raised his eyebrow, finally calm enough to enjoy Beom Pal’s unexpected presence.
“Yes, but first, drink!” he give Nilah her cup and took his. “Toast to your new life. I hope you two are married already.”
Nilah’s cheeks turned red and she cough.
“No, we are not. It’s complicated.” Yeong shin drink his cup with serious face.
“Oooh, don’t be like this Yeong shin! It’s not complicated! Marry this gorgeous lady before someone else will.” Beom Pal laughed, but Yeong shin’s face paled and knuckles of his fist turned white.
“Please my lord. Leave it.” Nilah laid hand on magistrate’s forearm. She saw how much pain his words make to her beloved man.
“I just don’t understand...” Beom Pal was still mumbling while he took out small package. It was something wrapped in silk paper. “You love her, she saved your life, and probably more than once, you dragged her from hell...just marry her you foolish...”
“Stop it!” Yeong shin’s nerves cracked. His fists hit the table with loud bang. Beom Pal grew silent but he had small mischief smile on his lips.
“There is nothing I want more than made Nilah my wife. I would be honoured to be her man...It’s ridiculous, because I’m her man already, I don’t care if it’s official. I belong to her. My every heartbeat belongs to her.”
Nilah was speechless, listening his words with glossy eyes and blushing cheeks. She was touched by his words.
“Here, my gift.” Beom Pal gives Yeong shin small package. He took it with questions in his eyes, still wildly breathing.
He opened it and for a while he was still like statue. He just lifts his eyes to Beom Pal and Nilah through she saw them gloss.
“How did you...?” his voice was trembling when he put his hands on the table holding his gift in tight grip.
“I’m very important man, remember?” Beom Pal smiled happily.
“What is it?” Nilah was trying to recognise, what made him so touched that even his hands trembled.
“It’s my name tag.” Yeong shin whispered with tight voice.
It was little tag with the name ‘Seo Yeong shin’ and it was made from fine wood that was probably very expensive.
“It’s your new name tag. You are in the King’s favour.” Beom Pal smiled with satisfaction. It took him a long time to found Yeong shin’s name in books and bring him back to the world of living. He must talk to lot of magistrates, to negotiate and sometimes used just a little threat. Until he was holding two fresh pieces of wood.
“And this is yours.” He gave Nilah same piece of dark wood.
Her breath hitched and she covered her mouth to not let out loud sob.
“You are officially citizen of this kingdom.”
“Thank you my lord. I don’t know what to say...how to make it up to you.” She hugged him and didn’t think about, how inappropriate it was. She was just happy. Maybe more for Yeong shin than for herself.
“Don’t be silly. I’m glad I could help you.” Beom Pal shushed her and took the bottle “So, let’s drink!”
Nilah never saw Yeong shin drunk. She was sitting on the floor with bottle in her lap, she felt her cheeks red and hot like in fever, but she wasn’t sick. She was drunk and happy...maybe happier she ever was.
She was singing old songs she remembers from home. It was drinking songs of her nation about sun, sea and honourable deaths and reunion with gods.
And Yeong shin was dancing. She was happily laughing when he was swinging in the centre of the room waving with his hands. His cheeks red as hers and eyes glossy.
She never saw him so happy, smiling so long and wide. She wants to cry with happiness.
And Beom Pal was dancing too. Wobbling around and trying to sing songs in language he didn’t even know.
It was a long night full of joy. And in the end of it Nilah was sleeping and Yeong shin was sitting outside with Beom Pal, watching night changing colours.
It was silent and peaceful moment.
“She is still scared.” He whispered into the dark. “She has nightmares and last night I found her scared to death, just because she saw shadow, or something.”
It was like throwing away heavy weight from his back. He was so glad that Beom Pal was there.
“I have this trouble too, sometimes.” Beom Pal admitted. “Nightmares or these weird feelings. Last time someone run behind me and I almost pissed myself because I thought it’s undead.”
Beom Pal was suddenly serious when he spoke.
“She is not scared of the dead. It’s the living that scared her the most. And I feel so helpless. All I can do is calm her.” He hated how he was fighting with invisible enemy. With her demons he couldn’t shoot or stab.
“You are doing great. Trust me. I had few mistresses but not a single one can’t stand my nightmares. When I woke up with scream, they always run away. And it hurts. Be with her it’s the best you can do.”
Yeong shin was looking at the magistrate with compassion. They were too damaged by games of Hae won Cho clan. Even their own member.
“I’m sorry.” He whispered and held Beom Pal’s shoulder. He knew he could lose his hand just for touching someone so high rate, but he didn’t mind. He just wanted to comfort a friend. “I’m really sorry.”

he supposes that each fan experience is a good one because at the end of the day, all the fans there are solely there to support and wish well for the idols. a lot of the time, each experience seems to be the same run of walking by, waving, doing fan service, and signing a few things
his most memorable positive fan experience was probably the time he went to a shoddy corner restaurant, and a woman in her mid-40′s came up to him to tell him she loved his acting. it was the first time he was recognized as an actor rather than the decipher member. she told him how much she loved his character and how she wished for a son-in-law like him someday.
another memorable one was when a fan quietly slipped a note during a fan sign, and she wrote that she supported him no matter what. it said something along the lines of ‘don’t pay attention to the negativity, because we are all here to support you in the end’. he kept that note and stowed it away in his box of fan-goods he keeps as memories.
the last one was probably when he was overseas for fun, and got noticed as the guy from ‘parasite’. it was the first time a foreigner recognized him for his acting work, which made him feel like he was actually getting somewhere with a career away from music.

being an idol has its advantages, but being not an ordinary person and someone who is heralded all over the tv and media is something that sits well with taejin.
he was originally supposed to take over his family’s empire, but he realized that a life full of numbers and business meetings wasn’t his own particular cup of tea. thus, the life of the industry and a world of fame was more up his alley.
he likes the attention he gets, and the way he gets recognized in public. from every outfit he cherishes getting captured to all the media posts about how he’s a star, he likes reading about himself and taking advantage of all that fame has to offer. being coddled by the internet is a special feeling that very few can relate to.
another aspect to love is the pampered treatment he receives on a weekly basis. there is nothing more lavish than having a schedule lined with spa treatments and facials. with perfect skin and a cleanly finish, he expects there’s nothing better than this.
the last thing he enjoys is probably the non 9-5 aspect of the job. of course, there are days when his schedule becomes a 20 hour work day, but there are also times where there’s nothing planned and he has a month off. during this time, he’s free to travel and do as he pleases which many office workers and population of seoul cannot relate to.

there was a time when he tried really hard at every performance. maybe because he was a leader or wanted to shine on stage, he put in the extra effort to perfect each dance and sing along in front of a crowd who knew all the lyrics to their songs.
however, once taejin reached the end of his 20s, he found it extremely boring to be on stage and more of a burden to have to flail his arms and legs in front of fans, despite him biting the age of 30. hearing the song ring ding dong for the past ten years does a lot to someone’s mentality, and having to do the dances that his body did when it was younger only makes his bones hurt more.
sometimes, the outfits are also ridiculous because they are far too tacky in his opinion. the concepts become too much, and he questions why decipher even has to go on music shows anymore and perform in public if they have been such a strong force till now.
essentially, he is the epitome of laziness on stage currently. he short steps the dance moves, mainly because he is the weakest dancer on the team (in his opinion), but he still sings the songs without using backtrack. lucky for him, he’s been blessed with a nice tone of voice that somehow manages to stay on pitch.
he’s lost passion for being on stage over the years, and wants it to end as soon as he steps on. there’s nothing that could be worse than being the oldest hag and having to step on stage and do moves that he was taught when he was 17.

post-idol life, which he hopes will be soon, will consist of only acting and cf’s. he wants to seriously pursue some more serious roles, that are only limited currently due to his idol status.
he hopes that fame won’t be fifteen minutes but instead his career will bloom into something bigger, creating a substantial acting career like lee byung hun or hyun bin. kim taejin wants to be a name that is heralded as a ‘legend’ in the acting industry, with many hoobaes using him as inspiration for their dive into acting.
if he’s lucky, he’ll get an oscar for a solo work he’s done (but that’s just wishful thinking). in reality, he’ll probably just accept awards from blue dragon film awards and be happy with that.
in his personal life, he hopes to add some a family aspect into his life by becoming a fervent soccer dad with a beautiful wife. two kids is his maximum, a boy and a girl. he’ll be the first at all their school events and the loudest cheerleader on the side lines. because he knows the industry, he’d never tell his children to join but instead relax in the normal life.
he’ll cook and clean for his wife on his days off, taking the kids to school. but he will never let himself go as maintaining a perfect visual till he dies is his life long goal.
as for where he’d be living, it might be his current villa as it has six bedrooms and is far well to raise a family. plus, he’s made many memories inside the house and has grown an attachment to, so he doesn’t see himself want to move.

Produce X 101 Position Evaluation Thoughts (Post ep 6/7) VOCAL/RAP POSITION
I just had a lot of thoughts after watching episodes 6 and 7 so just gonna rant here.
Firstly i just want to put it out there this the first time i followed a produce x 101 series for so long mainly because my main picks since the start are still there! (I’m looking at park sun ho and nam do hyun)
PLEASE DON’T GET ANGRY BECAUSE THESE ARE PURELY MY OWN OPINIONS WARNING LONG LONG POST AHEAD
So im just gonna go thru each performance and share my thoughts on each trainee of course im naturally going to be sort of biased so ill just follow my feelings.
VOCAL POSITION

4th. TO MY YOUTH stage,
I would say this was my least anticipated stage and i feel this is generally not a stage I would rewatch very often in the future. I’m not saying its bad in fact I love how emotional they are since I know very well how hard these lyrics hit myself being a avid bol4 fan. I just didn’t really like the arrangement of the song, its inevitable but comparing it to the original this arrangement seemed to dull out their voices abit as in it felt too loud. I think it was the adlibs that really sounded too loud when i was listening, it was emotional yes, but did it highlight their emotion as well as it could? I don’t think so. But other than that i do think this was a well done stage and finally i can start to see why everyone loves kim min kyu.
JIN WOO - I love that he chose this song because this song IS for all the teens out there trying to find their way in life and the lyrics just match him so well too and yeah it was just a good song choice i think.
SE JIN - i just like the tone of his voice its really soft and fluffy and it worked to his advantage in this song
WOO SEOK - He’s up in the ranks for a reason and he maintains that through this performance
BYUNG CHAN - I felt like he got outshined by woo seok, maybe a poor song choice on his part, felt like his voice would suit day by day more but it is what it is and i think he did well just out shined
MIN KYU - I see improvement from my previous impressions of him and i can see him trying to sing louder as what the vocal trainers told him, only time will tell if he improves more.

3RD DAY BY DAY STAGE
This stage was nice. It was good. But it just did not really pop or leave a super lasting impression. I liked the arrangement into a rainy day style song. I liked the concept that they had. I liked their powerful vocals and harmonies. But it just didn’t stand out for some reason like I really can’t explain it. Its like the I am stage in produce 48 it was good but it just didnt pop.
CHOI SU HWAN - I’ll first declare i am biased towards him so don’t take me seriously but like i found it quite unbelievable that he got 5th place in the live voting because he was hitting those notes darn powerfully and his harmonising with yu bin was really nice and good so yes i like him and i hope he makes it through
SONG YU BIN - Same as woo seok he continues to show why he’s in the top ranks and that there’s a reason why he already debuted really nothing suprising
NAM DONG HYUN - I like his work ethic, he accepts criticism and works hard to get what he wants the arrangement that he did was pretty and his voice matched well with the song but didn’t really have much highlights during the performance apart from the high note with yubin
MOON JUN HO - I have no idea he existed until now but i loved his facial expressions and his voice aint bad but because of the lack of screentime he gets I really can’t talk much about him (im sorry)
KWON TAE EUN - Same as jun ho definitely does not get enough screen time considering the effort they probably poured into the stage

2ND TWIT STAGE
These 5 guys killed it, be it from the arrangement to their voices to their stage presence and performance everything conveyed their teamwork. Also i loved the outfits and the mic stands yes.
YOON JUNG HWAN - This guy’s stage presence is no joke where has he been all along? He knows what he’s doing that’s for sure and he is such a good pick as the center for this song, just watch the performance the way he moves its killer.
LEE HYEOB - WHERE HAS THIS GUY BEEN ALL THIS TIME TOO? When Bae Yoon Jung went “who is he?” i was like exactly I know right? This was a good song choice on his part and now i want him to go through as well maybe i just have a soft spot for independent trainees.
LEE EUN SANG - Clearly he ranked first based on popularity for this live stage but its not to say that he didn’t serve those killer looks, I could see him being a pretty good vocal but for this stage he stood out with the looks
KANG SEOK HWA - Another independent trainee that i have a soft spot for too, didn’t have many lines but was stable and did his job and also meshed well with the rest
LEE MI DAM - Damn if it weren’t for the comments I wouldn’t even be sure/ remember who arranged the song Mnet certainly could have given him some spotlight because i absolutely loved this arrangement into this sort of rock pop song

1ST ME AFTER YOU STAGE
Now this is a stage i’ve been replaying since it aired. This is up there in all the produce performances i’ve watched. These guys are made for ballads with their voices. Also i just love me a ballad and i do feel like this is the avengers team for the vocal position.
KIM YO HAN - He knows how to sing with emotion and when he does it feels like his heart is out on his sleeve, he may not have the biggest range (vocal wise) but he sure can deliver the feels
CHA JUN HO - I love the friendship between him and yo han but he definitely has to thank yo han for helping him but once that shell broke his vocals definitely shine through
KIM HYUN BIN - After the amazing performance with No More Dream i thought he was going to choose a rap position but no he chose a vocal position and he stuns. Similar to yo han he doesn’t exactly have the largest range but he does know how to sing.
HAN SEUNG WOO - He is good. He deserved the first and the center position, i feel like i’ve been saying this alot but he picked the right song he knows how his voice works and i respect him for that. But i wish someone would change his hairstyle.
WEI ZI YUE - He is trying, I can really tell he’s trying his voice is very unique and I’m not quite sure if he knows how to use it yet because the first time I watched the performance it felt a bit jarring because the rest of his team mates have those sort of clear voices but i could see he was trying to enunciate properly so thumbs up for trying.

2ND BARCODE STAGE
Before i watched the episode, I had hopes for a good stage because i love this song but after watching it i just wanted them not to cry. I think it was more upsetting because they made mistakes one by one and you could see them visibly getting less and less confident even though they were doing well. I feel sad because I could see the stage that this could have been with their different rap tones blending together and a very emotional lyrics.
WON HYUK - He was sort of evil edited but like he made up for it in his stage, he kept his calm and he kept his composure and i felt like because of that the team managed to finish the song. He was the only one that didn’t make a mistake and in fact i felt like he rapped harder because he wanted to make up for his team mates mistakes and he was good as a rapper which is surprising after his energetic performance.
BAEK JIN - He was really good and stable at the start which is why it was worse to see him fall, i think his nerves and his team’s mistakes really got to him and it broke him. His facial expressions were really good too.
YURI - His rap voice is so low and so different from his team mates that it made him stood out but imo i think from the start he already didn’t feel particularly confident, and it showed on his face and ultimately caused him to get flustered and make mistakes as well
LEE WOO JIN - I’m not sure about this but it felt like he was a vocalist? As in he felt new to rapping and the whole team vibe certainly didn’t help the situation if that was so. Tbh i think he needs more practice but he was really the most nervous even from the start but i wish him all the best

MY FAVORITE STAGE OUT OF ALL THE STAGES!! This was just so fun. They were literally having fun on the stage and this was a stage where I absoulutely loved the killing parts and everyone had one! also all their lyrics are both fun, sad and powerful at the same time, i just love this team and want all of them to go through!
NAM DO HYUN - My pick since the start and I continue to love what he brings to the table, he actually took Cheetah’s advice seriously and he killed the stage especially the part where he says I’ll be your Oppa ji I was like wow that was good and on beat and on point
JO SEUNG YEON - He trained Jaehun and Seong yeon pretty darn well and he took care of his own part too and even though his own part was short it was IMPACTFUL like that line “naega” is too damn good, he’s both main vocal and main rapper and not a joke
JUNG JAE HUN - He’s trying hard too, I can see it but i loved how he just basically acted out his part about being nervous and the lyrics in his part are so honest that they’re kind of sad especially the part where he says “the only thing i’ve shown is my temple heart”
KIM SEONG YEON - Not sure if he wrote his rap or Seung Yeon did but it was nice and simple and effective and he had his own killing part at the “ pick pick pick” line. Kinda loved him as a rapper wanna see more of him as both vocalist and rapper.

okay im finally getting around to posting this, tbh i had to take a few days to (rest) before i thought more about this lol. also sorry it’s so long, ill put it under a read more. ANYWAYS my vav experience, as follows:
so for the fan sign there was a Lot going on so i forgot most of it but.. barons teeth sparkled when he smiled lmao anyways st van was first and I told him he was my moms favorite and he went rly?? in a really cute voice and he just seemed so surprised, it was endearing
and then jacob... i don’t mess with him anymore. jk lol he was so freaking attractive but like in a Hot way? his smile was so nice that im pretty sure i garbled my words but i tried to tell him i really like love night.. and I was going to ayno and like idk if i was joking to myself or what but just loud enough i actually said, oh that’s lots of bling! and both ayno and jacob heard me, ayno laughed genuinely and jacob was like omg i can’t believe this idiot.. i don’t think i said anything to ayno, he seemed really uncomfortable so i didn’t want to bother him anymore. but his laugh was genuine i could tell, and for a split second i don’t think he was wearing his Idol Mask(TM) when he smiled. but that’s probably just wishful thinking lol
ACE I CANT BELIEVE HIM he looked so fucking good oh my god i got to him and i called him a Casanova and he went ayyyy with a thumbs up and finger guns and i wanted to die lmfao
when i got to baron he said my name but kinda pronounced it wrong but i corrected him, and he said it again. and then i told him my name rhymes with his and he said mine like four times in different ways trying it out and rhyming it with his stage name😭 HE DIDNT have to say my name that many times, god. his English was so fucking good holy shit and his pronounciation??? Amazing and he’s so handsome up close, like literal Disney prince handsome
ziu talks sooo much!!! I love it and he’s so good looking and kind and he shook my hand and ??? he said to enjoy the show and i told him to enjoy doing the show and he did like a shy smile kind of thing !! you could tell he was trying hard with the English i was rly proud of him
lou had a flower crown on and i complimented on it and he said my name so well and there was more with him but i forgot 😢
but that was just the fan sign lol so much other stuff happened... later during the show i nearly died bc of ayno.. they were picking people to go up on stage, right? and there was a girl in front of me also with her hand raised, like freaking out (maybe a bit too much?) and i was like okay she probably wants it so i kinda like.. stopped raising my hand and gestures to her? If that makes sense... he almost picked her but when he saw me be nice and let her have it, he literally stares at me and picks me, dead on...but someone random that he wasn’t pointing at like ROWS back walked on stage before we could realize it was me but that fucking eye contact i had with him made him SHOOT up my bias list lol now I have to rethink my entire order. im like 75% sure that he picked me because i wasn’t a crazy fan, like the girl in front of me was a bit much.. and obviously if i was willing to give it up im not that insane... ladies, it pays off to be a nice person!
AND JACOB WITH THE BABY please end me i fell for him so much like he’s almost overtaking baron that’s how much i liked him last night and how nice is vav that they tried to pick new people?? like they picked the fan boy, the little baby, the elderly lady.. and they even helped her to and from the stage 💗😍 AND SPEAKING of gentlemanly stuff there was a guy with a wheelchair during the snapshots in line for jacob and when they were done he personally pushed the guy in the wheelchair all the way to where the man needed to go. he breaks my heart and heals it simultaneously, he’s so underrated but still a genuinely and QUIET nice person.. he doesn’t do good stuff to be noticed. like when winter breeze was over, they had the rappers sing it too... but not jacob. i was so upset and he also didn’t do his solo song that i specifically told him i liked, but ayno did two of his. im not bitter at all what do u mean ??? 🤷♀️
i feel like more happened at the concert but i can’t think of much more, im sure other fan accounts will have it all. the only thing i can think about is the snapshots anyways lol
the group picture was ... interesting. the hi touch wasnt much except it reinforced my idea that ayno recognized me, bc instead of a high five he held my hand for as long as possible, probably an apology for earlier. i nearly died. the pic ended up looking awful but thats okay lol. then we tried to leave but i ended up going the wrong way, and a staff handed me roughly like actually grabbing my shoulders and pushing me in the right direction (which i did not appreciate, please chill, u just didnt tell us the right way to go...) and a few members saw that and didnt like either. ayno looked irritated but im sure hes just irritated at everything at that point lol, lou and ace looked at me sympathetically, and i gave ace the happy bday present someone asked me to give to him. he was so surprised it was adorable.
OKAY, NOW FOR THE SNAPSHOTS: so i actually had 7 snapshots but ended up getting 2 with jacob and 2 with ayno instead of one with everyone (which.. if u look above is not a surprise lmfao) so the first snapshot i do is with baron, obviously.. and this ASSHOLE wants to kill me like... for everyone i tried to pick poses that werent too touchy bc a) im not comfortable w that and b) im sure they were all tired of being touched lol so i picked the one where you make fingerhearts while standing next to each other, but NOOOOO
baron decides he doesnt like that pose enough so he literally puts his hands on my shoulders, guides me to a position thats not only in FRONT of him but CLOSER TO HIM than i was originally!!! what the fuck!! thats not all after that he had to lean around me and basically like... he was so fucking close to me oh my god. he smelled so good i need to know where he gets his cologne. also lol when he moved me in front of him i was like... omg are u sure??? im kinda tall.. and he just laughs and smiles and leans into/around me. that picture of me looks so stupid bc i was so.. happy and Not Ready lmao
anyways i go to jacob next and do the e-t touch pose lol since like i said... didnt want touchy ones and he seemed amused that i picked that one. i wonder if it was one of the least popular ones? probably.. and GOD hes rly such a gentleman hottie like i rarely say h*t but.... jacob was hot. since we did the e.t touch pose we had to touch fingertips and (eyes emoji) not to have a hand kink or anything but hes got. really nice hands. long fingers. also lmfao he had long ass fingernails and i kinda joked with him like “youve got longer fingernails than i do!!” and he laughed and smiled at me. and okay i turn to leave like gotta have the next person go but APPARENTLY he wasnt ready for the next person yet... i literally had to have the staff be like wait! jacob is saying bye to you!!! and i was like WHAT and turned around and ran back to him basically to say bye he was grinning the entire time and he waved his hand and held it up for (i thought) a high five but he grabbed it and i swear i fell for him right there. JACOB WHEN WILL U BE MINE godfjkdgd and i watched him for a little bit but he didnt say bye that enthusiatically to anyone else (that i saw, at least)
then i did the prom pose with st. van, it was adorable. you could tell he was rly trying to interact with everyone and idk what it is about him but i felt comfortable enough to actually do a Touchy pose (the holding arm pose, like prom yknow). we love an amazing leader~
oH i did one with ziu too!! i did the byung byung pose with the hands together and we both looked ridiculous lol. i dont remember much about him except he was so tall wtf taller than i expected.
at this time i keep looking at my pics and THE E.T PIC WITH JACOB??? makes me crack the hell up.... it had to have been fate, obviously. in the pic (from the camera flash, i guess) where our fingers were touching, it just SO HAPPENED THAT THERE WAS A FLASH OF LIGHT......... iconic. jacob n i are meant to be. so i get in line for him again bc i want to show him the pic, but by the time i got up there again i had forgotten. i was also like... ready for a touchy pose with him bc why not. i cant remember what pose i did with him or if anything happened, im sure i was in a trance then lmao. pretty sure he recognized me but i cant be sure.
then i get in line for ayno and i have two snapshot tickets left, and the staff announces theres only a few mins left so i was like SHIT and figured id just do two with ayno bc i didnt wanna waste any. his line was so long and staff had to keep reminding ppl not to hug/touch him and i felt soooo bad. i picked poses that werent too close to him, and even those in the pic he looked like he was trying to not be close to me lol. i feel so bad for him, im sure he got a lot of weird fans that night. i think he recognized me (again) because he smiled genuinely like he was happy i was there. i think he appreciated that i picked poses that didnt require touching -- he probably had a Lott of that. when the second pic was being printed the staff member laughed at something someone said, but i thought she was laughing at my picture bc i take shit pics and i got offended for a second and so did ayno LMAO but then she explained and i said bye to him and he went back into Idol Mask(TM) and i think that was it.
i also ate at ihop that night, it was great, we didnt get back to our hotel till after 2am, it felt so... young adult-ish to be out so late lmao. i was very proud at how everything turned out, i dont think i wouldve changed a thing
anyway, long story short: im in love with jacob, baron is a disney prince, ayno shot up my bias list (he was like... last lmao) and i appreciate him as a person. those three were the Big Three, but i still loved meeting the other members. 10/10 would recommend vav

The Uncanny Counter Review~
I have finally completed watching The Uncanny Counter and what can I say other than it's just an excellent show?! Just everything about this show is perfect.
The plot (although there are little plot holes but I don't mind), the CGI work (fabulous!), the actions scenes, the camera work but MORE IMPORTANTLY THE CAST!! THE CAST'S CHEMISTRY! I have to emphasize that this cast. THIS CAST IS PERFECT!!
Although the casts are from different generations, they somehow work perfectly well together! Everyone just did a phenomenal job and I have to give mad props to Jo Byung Kyoo! He did a damn good job considering this is his first time acting as the main lead role. His playfulness, his eyes when he cries, his acting when he has to play angst parts. I can feel every emotion that he tries to convey (especially the crying part like ep 6, 11 and 16). Tbh, I have become his fan after watching this show & I will be looking forward to more from him!
Yoo Joon Sang...how the heck is this person 51??? He-...man..damn. What can I say about him? I love this ajusshi so much! Yung~~! He is a tragic character in my opinion because all the people he cares and loves die (except Eonnie Gang but they nearly die countless of times)!!!
About, Kim Se Jeong. I will tell you guys this little funny story. (it may not be funny). I have known Se Jeong for a long time, probably during Producer 101, which was in 2016. I really like her and root for her to win the show as well. I haven’t updated her since IOI disbanded but I knew that she returned to Gugudan and continued her career there. Anyways, I remember when I watched ep.1, I really like the actress who acted as Hana bc we don’t usually have badass female characters in K-Drama world so when I see one, I immediately like the show. She acted well and I love her action scenes a lot so I went onto MyDramaList to search her up and that’s when....yeah....I was shocked.....Her aura and tbh, she didn’t change but what change was her aura in the show and makeup as well! Yeah..that’s how I knew it was Se Jeong who I rooted during Producer 101.
Yeom Hye Ran, a mother figure and the leader of the Eonnie Gang. What can I say? She is just adorable and a stable figure in this group. I love her healing ability a lot and her backstory with her son. I remember I cried during watching that episode. It was too damn sad!
The bond - Man, I can talk about the cast's chemistry forever!!!! These four are the best cast ever!!
Noto mention, our evil cast! They did a phenomenal job, especially Lee Hong Nae and Ok Ja Yeon. I seriously wanted to kill these two evils so much when I watched the show but irl, they are so adorable!! Go and watch them singing IU’s song in one of the interviews guys! They are just too cute to be evil!!!
Oh how could I forget Somun’s best friend and grandparents?? THEY ARE TOO SWEET!! TOO DAMN SWEET!!! That’s all I am going to say!!!
Once again, I want to thanks everyone who has worked so hard for the show, from the casts to crews to staff members who work in the back. Just everyone who works and contributes to this amazing show!!! (THE RATING!! 11%!! FULLY DESERVED)! Thank you for giving our watchers The Uncanny Counter every weekend for us to laugh, to cry and give us moral lessons as well as amazing quotes for us to remember.
This is not the ending yet for us. This is only the beginning of this show and a door for many cast members as they got to display their acting skill and their talents to the world! For our watcher, we still have season two coming and the upcoming The Uncanny Return which will air on Feb.07! There maybe more to come. Byung-gyu flirts through his jokes. He thinks they're awful sometimes, but Ju-hee always find them cute.
Ju-hee being a nurse + Byung-gyu being a history teacher = smartass couple.
Byung-gyu knows how to do braids, so he does Ju-hee's hair.
Byung-gyu is taller than her by his chin reaching her forehead.
There's a two or three-year age gap between them. After he graduated from college, with Ju-hee still studying, he will bring her food and help her whenever she struggles with studying.
Byung-gyu owns a motorcycle and uses it to pick her up.
Byung-gyu takes her to simple dates because he knows that's what she prefers and same goes to him. But he does his best to make it romantic by bringing her sunflowers.
Ju-hee makes him his favorite meals.
They know how to soothe each other down from nightmares.
Ju-hee pretty much falls asleep whenever he carries her.
They both have a dream of owning a house in the countryside.
Ju-hee likes romance dramas, Byung-gyu likes historical dramas, therefore they binge watch together all the time.
Ju-hee likes listening to Byung-gyu talk about history and uses it as a distraction if she catches him overthinking.

Byung-gyu flushes every time Yoon-ho accidentally calls Ju-hee "sister-in-law" just to spite him.
Despite being nervous, Ju-hee is genuinely surprised by how happy Jin-woo looks when she introduced Byung-gyu to him. The downside is that Jin-woo instantly spills embarrassing moments of her to Byung-gyu.
Byung-gyu knows how to deal an angry Ju-hee and that is bringing her sweets.
Healer couple ♥️
They're very open to each other. Literally. Not once they hide something from each other unless it's a surprise.
Ju-hee likes hugging him from behind.
Ju-hee has a nice voice for lullaby, so of course, she sings to Byung-gyu if he's having an anxiety attack.
She goes with him to visit Eun-seok's grave, reminding him that he's not alone.
Byung-gyu's grandma loves Ju-hee so much that the old woman makes clothes for her every time she visits with her grandson. His grandma also thanks her for taking care of him since Byung-gyu has been all by himself after his parents got killed by monsters.
They both like children, so when they're in his province, Byung-gyu and Ju-hee play with the kids in the neighborhood. The kids gushes about how Byung-gyu always spend time with them and are happy that he brought his "friend".
They spend picnic at the parks.
They're the type of couple who snaps goofy faces of each other and laugh it out.
Ju-hee visits Byung-gyu in the school he teaches at and his students adore her.
If one of his students get hurt, they'll rush to Byung-gyu instead of the clinic. Bonus: Ju-hee tends them too if she's around.
They're each other's best friend and each other's lover.
Byung-gyu won't pass a day without complimenting her.
Ju-hee treats him to meals and Byung-gyu lets her since he doesn't want to argue with her about it unless he wants to starve to death.
They can't bare sleeping without facing each other. It's either Ju-hee is the little spoon or she and Byung-gyu will embrace each other — pillows? What are those?

Jumin & V React to Their Children Finding a Video of Their Late Mother
Request by @mystic-messenger-drabbles :How would the RFA (V+Saeran if you want aswell) react to their child finding a video of MC singing to their child before they had passed away? What would they do if their child just started breaking down in tears? (I’m a very angsty human, I’m sorry)
CW: death & angst.
This headcanon set will be split up into two characters apiece because it got so long. I’ve never really read a whole lot of angst so I hope this is okay!
V:
-V never once thought that running away from your death was a good idea
-the rest of the RFA were concerned about that happening because of the way he tends to take all of the hurt for everyone else, but he never kept a thing from Byung-chul.
-he told his son about the good parts and the bad parts of your relationship, not even leaving out the times he accidentally hurt you
-he admitted that your death could have been prevented if he’d been more careful, but he just simply didn’t know it was going to happen. You slipped on the concrete while trying to head inside after a long day at work and hit your head. He didn’t even hear you, the neighbors saw everything and called the police.
-V was naturally devastated, but he was always a good father to Byung-chul! He did everything his son asked him to do, and provided him with the best living situations he could give. He was the best father he could be, and Byung-chul never wished for anything more. He wished he could have met you of course, but he was happy and healthy.
-speaking of which, that house was always too big for the two of them so once Byung-chul turned 17, they decided to move
-they were packing together when Byung-chul found a shoebox full of your things hidden underneath boxes of photographs
-in it were random things: movie/concert tickets, jewelry, your own phone, and a tape labelled “Byung-chul’s Lullaby”
-V decided to watch the tape with Byung-chul and cried along with him
-seeing you pick Byung-chul up in your arms and sing a song you wrote to him just....it was almost too much for him
-he held his son to his chest and cried, letting the tape spin to a stop
-that night he told Byung-chul everything he hadn’t, expressing how much you truly loved the both of them
-he never wanted Byung-chul to wonder whether or not you cared or were a good mother
Jumin Han:
-when you died, he completely lost it
-after giving birth to a healthy baby girl, you were very weak and ended up passing away after getting ill
-he was traveling when you passed, your last words to him were even “I’ll be able to go home soon, Jumin!”
-You never made it home, though. You never even got to see your daughter for more than two hours in your entire life since you couldn’t risk getting her ill too.
-Jumin was usually good at keeping in his emotions, but having you just...stop existing was the worst thing he could ever endure or imagine
-reporters were everywhere despite his father’s efforts to keep them away, and he couldn’t handle it
-he ended up punching one for asking rude questions and shattered the man’s jaw
-Jumin quickly gained a reputation for being unstable and violent, then was scorned by the newspapers for going to work like usual. They criticized him and accused him of being too cold, that maybe he didn’t love you after all. They were wrong, watching your health slowly deteriorate and then fail all at once had completely destroyed him.
-he kept everything of yours, whether it was unwashed pillowcases or dresses, and never moved anything you left unless he had to
-Mi-ran was beautiful, a perfect combination of you two. She looked like Jumin but with your eyes, and was bright but also tended to be cold and emotionless
-so walking in one day and seeing her watching a video of you singing to her as a child reopened deep wounds
-her shoulders were shaking, black hair spilling over her shoulders as her eyes trained on the TV set
-he didn’t know who gave her the DVD, but he had a slight suspicion it was Saeyoung
-Jumin sat down next to Mi-ran and held her tight, allowing her to sob into his shoulder
-he knew he should have felt pain. He could count on two hands the amount of times Mi-ran had shown any kind of emotion towards him and knew she must be hurting
-he should have felt anything but emptiness
-but at the moment, Jumin Han was completely hollow

I don’t really have a trusted writer. i’ll take what jenna said and say that writers can be pretty inconsistent. at least in dramas that’s the case. even though there have been writers who have written 2 or more dramas i really love, who knows when they’ll disappoint me?? its a weird “you never know” game. i think for director it’d have to be kim suk yoon (mwihaatw, awl), kim byung soo (bubblegum, qihm), lee yoon jung (coffee prince, h2h, citt) and kim won seok (misaeng, signal, monstar). i trust lee joon ik a lot (hope, dongju). & hirokazu koreeda (like father like son, after the storm) w/ both writing and directing anything lol
2. Your favourite actor or actress in a Permanently Supporting role? The people who always show up as cops, mothers-in-law, teachers/mentors, loan sharks, best friends, etc. Not glamorous enough to be leads but generally form the backbone of the non-leading cast?

honestly i’m stealing this from jenna again; she does have lots of great ideas but just doesn’t know how to execute them well. with goblin the idea was great, with interesting character premises but it just fell flat (at least for me) and she didn’t expand on any of the things she could have to make a truly interesting, impactful story (ex: sunny, deok hwa, their relationships w/ goblin!!, i feel like the Higher Power couldve been way more interesting esp since it took over deok hwa?? lee el’s character, the villain came in so late and he was actually pretty interesting & he could’ve been used more, etc). again this is my personal opinion.
but she does give you addicting, crack dramas so you gotta commend her for that. i admit i watched and waited for each ep of dots even though i don’t remember much of it now loll

for drama i’ll say strong woman do bong soon? i mean i did genuinely enjoy watching it but i didn’t see any unique reason for why it was as popular as it was?? (also heirs!!! holy crap why)

Im Siwan recently participated in a pictorial and interview with Cosmopolitan Korea! In the interview, the idol-turned-actor talked about promoting with ZE:A, how he got closer to his co-stars in his upcoming film, and more. Im Siwan shared his thoughts on his group ZE:A after their song “Aftermath” went viral and climbed up the music charts again. “Some people have said that the members couldn’t show off their charms very well when we were promoting with ZE:A, but that’s because ZE:A was a group that focused on being diverse,” Im Siwan explained. “Rather than being stuck on a style that fits the whole team, we felt obligated to have each of the nine members take on different concepts.” He continued, “Lately, the members have been talking about ‘Aftermath’ a lot. Who would’ve known we’d be receiving attention again? We are all very thankful that people are showing their interest, regardless of how they’re doing it. Out of all our songs, ‘Aftermath’ is the one we liked the most back then and even now.” Im Siwan talked about making the transition from an idol to an actor. “I don’t want to let go of singing in my life,” he said. “It resonated with me that someone out there enjoys our music and sings along to it. That’s why I perform occasionally during fan meetings and try not to leave the stage completely behind.” He went on to say, “It’d be a shame for me to deny that I was a singer because then I’d be denying the times I spent in my 2s. Furthermore, I believe that applying those experiences and enjoying it in my acting is something that can become an advantage for me.” He added, “I’m trying to sing an OST for my new drama ‘Run On‘ if I get the chance.
