"It's ready!", the backsmith announced with a big smile as he presented the man with his weapon. A sturdy, two handed spear, with a wide, black blade. The shaft was covered in leather in the lower part for sturdy hold, while leaving the red wood of the rest unwrapped for easy change of grip.

"She's a beauty, if i might say so myself! And now, she is yours. Take good care of her, and she will take care of you."

Partitio whistled as he examined the weapon. It was definitely something else. His merchant's eye for quality told him that much for free. "Hooey! You'd better believe I'll treat this fine lady with respect." He lifted up the spear and turned, giving it a few testing swings and jabs... Carefully, of course, so as to not risk damaging anything.

It was then that Partitio got an idea. "Say... How'd ya feel about goin' a round or two to help us get acquainted?" And by 'us,' Partitio meant himself and his new spear. A good practice bout would definitely help him get a feel for the new weapon before he wound up needing it in a real fight.

I bought a used copy of Shield now that the dust has settled. Only 30 bucks, and it was sold by a third party. (I'm aware of the dlc.)

Now I can finally see what the game is like. If it gets here on time, I'll have my playthrough sewn up by the time Xenoblade 3 gets here, so it will be out of the way for the main event of my summer.

As a slight aside, I know about CHARIZARD and the base pokeball on Eternatus thing, but I want to know why Leon makes people seethe so hard. The only conclusion I could gather about him from other people's posts is that he's an Elite Class Himbo, in which case syrup inbound.

I also want to see if I can backsmith over this game's face without using Dynamax outside of forced segments.

Next up on the easel, my ode to style master general-Scott Oster( @osterstyle ) ...This painting is based on a screengrab from a @biancachandon vid from years ago of Scott skating @artofoto ‘s pool. Being that Scott has THE dopest surf/skate style ever, and it’s such a dope clip, I had to try to capture it in a painting. This is another piece that’s WAY bigger than I typically work, at 3’W x 4’H, and for me thats a lot of ground to cover. Working on a painting that big from a pixelated and grainy screen grab probably isn’t the smartest move either, but I’ll make it work. I’m not working on this right at the moment, but when the other two pieces I’m working on are finished up, this is back on the easel. It’s has a good start, but has a ton of work to be done. 2 weeks until my 'sona team of Typhlosion and Zoroark take over Hisui. Man, that was a fast wait for that game.

I feel fully confident that I can beat that game with Typhlosion, Zoroark, and an intentionally unevolved Spheal as my only team members straight out of Poke-hiatus. :V
