MHA HEADCANONS: (just my opinion bro)

The headcanons will be random characters from mha:

+ Monoma is the type of person to act shit around class 1-a yet admires them in the inside, like my brother can go like "ngl bakugo is kinda awesome" "I feel bad about how I treated midoriya" he is canonly sweet and calm.

+ Momo doubt herself for sure (idk why but fuck her she is smarter than me man) like she can cry herself to sleep (typical behaviour that happens to every girl that acts confident and then end up doubting herself/me-)

+ Midoriya will soon be a very talented artist or designer If he ended up being quirkless, like imagine being the one drawing heroes posters and shit (just like me fr)

+ When Kyouka is with denki alone she acts all sweet and kind around him *innocently* but around people she roast him and act different (she does that to everyone I'm sure)

+Mina ashido is the type of person to fight with someone and then in 2 mins they end up being best friends (you dropped this 👑)

Bakugo Using People’s Names in the Order He Gained Respect💥 for Them

1. Sports fest during the cavalry battle. 2. Sports fest as the cavalry battle winds down (only kinda counts because it wasn’t TO Todoroki). 3. Sports fest while facing off with Uraraka, one on one. 4. Preparing for the mid-terms (the fact that he says Todoroki’s name the most in the series kills me) 5. Band practice for the School Festival. 6. Bringing Deku back to UA which is huge because he goes straight for his first name.

I touched on this briefly here but one of my favorite ways Bakugo subtly demonstrates his growth as a character is the way he addresses his classmates and other characters over time.

Bakugo is irreverent, impatient and extremely abrasive. He's on the fast track to Number One and doesn't spare anyone's feelings about that. From his "grandiose" speech at the sports festival and through each academic obstacle presented to him at U.A., he takes every opportunity to make this fact known. Throughout the story, he's frequently shown to liken other students to civilians by collectively referring to both as "extras", "cannon fodder" or "NPC's" which strips them of their individuality and undermines any desire they may have to compete on the professional stage as a hero. This tiktok by @peachycub hilariously conveys this sentiment.

Tsuyu Asui is a great counterpoint to this behavior. She insists that her classmates friends call her by the nickname "Tsu" as opposed to Tsuyu or, more commonly, her last name. She was swift with this request and its abruptness is something Deku in particular struggles with. He often backslides into calling her by her last name or full first name which she corrects over and over. But what relevance does this bear on Bakugo?

Well, in a culture where the use of names denote respect and closeness or intimacy, his outright refusal to use them is a deliberate alienation from those around him. He makes it a point not to learn anyone else's name (or quirks for that matter) as if to highlight how little of a threat they pose to his status and goal or how little he cares about them in general. Throughout the school year, most of 1A earns derisive nicknames and, as dictated by the curriculum's tendency to work in groups, he seems to cultivate a working knowledge of everyone's quirks but not without making a big show of his ignorance. As if to constantly say, "remind me again, who are you?"

As Class 1A is tested repeatedly with different obstacles, Bakugo singles out a handful of them (highlighted above) who are acknowledged through the proper use of their names.. almost as if he knew them all along. It's as if he begins to revere (using this pretty loosely) those who relentlessly persevere, like Kirishima and Uraraka, or force him to acknowledge his own weaknesses, like Todoroki. Notably, Deku seems to also embody these traits he acknowledges in others. Bakugo's growth is punctuated with his apology to Deku where he clears the air and goes so far as to use his first name. This is a nod to their previous friendship and shared history. Not quite on par with the intimacy of "Kacchan" which designates a closer friendship but it's probably as good as we're going to get for now.

A huff of laughter left Kirishima, upon hearing his best friend’s words. It was such a Bakugou thing to say, and it was surprisingly heart warming.

Well, surprising for anyone else but the redhead himself. He knew by now he perceived Bakugou’s words differently than most, a fact he was actually proud of.

And currently, it was a relief to not talk about it. Riot was always trying to deal with his own problems alone to begin with. He knew how to rely on his comrades for hero work and alike, but his personal struggles were his own.

“Damn yes, let’s do something. Play or spar or anything- Let’s have fun and not think.”

His grin was as bright as usual, eyes with a hint of relief. Spending time with his best friend was definitely one of his favorite activities.
