Pt. 3 to my toh swap au! Wanted to do one just of the adults this time.

A few things:

Willow takes up Raine’s place and is the plant coven head who’s secretly a rebel.

Amity and Boscha are the ones running Blight industries. They will get a divorce lol. Darius is Amity’s apprentice

Gus is the illusion coven head but unlike Adrian he’s not a huge jerk. He genuinely believes he’s doing the right thing by tricking the students, saving them for the day of unity. Gus is Perry’s dad in this.

Katya, Derwin and Amber take up Darius and Eber’s role of rebel coven heads (oracle, bard, and beast keeping).

let's switch it up this time giantess blake and bard yang who adventures with her sister (I just think yang is into big women, look at the way she was staring at jinn)

I can see Blake being a Leonin if she were ever giant. Leonin are still like 10 feet tall, so Yang will still get her big woman fix! But I'll leave her as a giant for this one. And, yes, I agree that Yang has a soft spot for big/strong women. What kind of butch doesn't secretly yearn to be picked up and placed against the wall or be cuddled in a little spoon?!

HUNTER WITTEBANE SQUINTS UP AT THE SIGN ABOVE THE DOOR. The plaza boasts a package store, a co-open, and a music studio--the unfortunate victim of the Wittebanes today. Hunter glances back at his uncle's retreating car, scowling and adjusting the strap of his bag.

He shoulders open the door, giving the empty lobby a brief, annoyed once-over. Piano lessons aren't actually that bad--the teacher is nice enough, and it's an hour or so out of the house every week ( thank God for that ), and Hunter is finding himself to be pretty good at piano as the weeks go by. Today, however, he seems less than enthused about being here, and he leans against the wall as he waits for Raine to make their appearance, rather than calling out to them himself as he typically does.

It takes several minutes beyond their scheduled start time before Raine realizes that Hunter has not, in fact, notified them of his presence yet. This is an unusual occurrence, normally the boy lets them know when he arrives. So, they make their way to the lobby and find him there, looking more down in the dumps than they’ve seen before. They sit next to him, waiting a few seconds before they speak.

“You could have told me that you were here, you know. That’s what you normally do, I’m sorry I didn’t notice sooner.” Their apology isn’t necessary, but part of them feels guilty for not noticing. “Are you doing okay? If you’re not feeling up for the lesson today, that’s alright. We can just sit and talk or we can do something else if you want. Either way, I’m more than happy to lend an ear.”

‘ve been brainrotting over this since DECEMBER so it’s about time i did some designs for them :3 second and red’s aren’t final yet though

notes for this au:

most people generally have some sort of power. yellow’s the only one in the color gang who doesn’t and they use redstone instead

blue’s an alchemist that somehow managed to get the reputation that they are incredibly scary (they are NOT). has the ability to grow (already existing) plants at will

green’s a traveling bard and purple’s an assassin/bounty hunter. they are very good friends (oh boy i wonder how this will turn out)

second was a normal dude before he got framed for arson and burning down a village. has some crazy powers he doesn’t know about and is currently on the run

said village second got framed for was also yellow’s, and yellow also fully believes that he was the one to do it

after yellow’s home is destroyed they go out searching for a mystical legendary artifact named the Command Block that they’ve been enamored with forever and meet blue in the process

there is a lot more to this au but i don’t want to dump it all in one post so that’s all for now 🤞🤞YIPEEE!!

Most of this ref done thanks to MHRS, poses, refs, etc, to make my life easier, and changing things I needed changed. It probably would've taken way longer than a day if I had done the reference parts from scratch.

I wanted him to have kind of a bard-trader-hunter kinda vibe, being a hunting horn main and all (though he has a wide variety of weapons at his disposal). I think the dignified set really helps? Maybe expect more armor sets though? I'm not entirely sure. It completely depends on what styles I discover as I experiment in rise and older games. I know for a fact that Zelda's design is gonna be more iceborne-inspired tho.

His first impression is usually rather sour, he doesn't ever talk all that much and his resting face doesn't help his case. Getting to know him though, he's a bit of a gremlin and rather eccentric behind the scenes.

“What say you, good sir,” the bard says, wandering after Oscar’s with his lute in hand, idly strumming a few tones. “Might I play a ditty in your honor?” “You might shut up in my honor,” Oscar grumbles, wiping at his armor as he goes. There’s a unidentified piece of goop stuck to his chest piece. If he were to identify it, he’d say it was a piece of Hydra, but he’s found over the years it’s better for his sanity if he keeps them unidentified. He flicks it off with a gloved finger instead. “Wonderful,” the bard says, still following after him, even after Oscar enters a tavern. “My name is Lando and I’ll be here all night,” he adds, and starts strumming enthusiastically. Oscar takes a deep breath. He needs a beer. And a bath. And maybe a way to get rid of this little lute playing pest. (Spoiler alert: He doesn’t. Get rid of the pest, that is. On the contrary, he gets quite attached to it.)
