Young Bruce abandons logic and cries out to Diana, reaching for what he won’t be able to grasp, her disappearing form. He must try anyway.

Old Bruce feels his anguish in a more quiet manner, but maybe also wonders with the bold outburst of his younger counterpart if his relationship with Diana has become so much more than in his own timeline. Does he think of the illogical moment years ago where he first had the same outburst in Gorilla City? How is it that his younger self has not yet been able to suppress this?

But… once again, they both push back their emotions for the sake of the mission.

Okay but I still think that they should've been an official endgame, it's stronger than me. I mean, just think about the possibilities: her immortality clashed with him loosing strength and agility? Them semi-settling in secret? The issue of their potential offspring? Diana being cast out of the Amazon society for marrying a man? Trying to cover up the fact that Gotham suddenly has a new protector, one with a golden lasso and tiara? Bittersweet dance of breaking up and getting together again?
