Mercs with an enemy team S/o who kills them as a way of flirting

(Doesn't include Sniper)

Scout

He sees it as annoying at first. It's at the clutching moments that piss him off. Like having the intelligence only to be killed by his S/o again and having to deal with running back from respawn.

And then it devellops into a sort of fear. Scout grows to know that his S/o is out to get him and turns around once he sees that they are on his tail.

His fear gets so bad that he flinches whenever he's with his S/o off-hours and they suddenly raise their arm or something. It's like a small dose of PTSD.

Soldier

Is confused when he sees his S/o coming straight towards him but instead of even greeting him, he ends up in respawn.

And when it happens even more, Soldier has to quickly confront his S/o in the middle of battle because he thinks something is wrong.

But once they explain themselves and that they're just showing their affection that way, all doubts leave Soldier's mind.

Quickly accepts it as a way of flirting between him and his S/o and starts killing them more often on the battlefield.

Pyro

Obviously they were caught off-guard the first time their S/o killed them more than anyone else during a match. Like some other mercs here, they're also worried their S/o is mad at them.

After a slight explanation, Pyro is relieved, but still has slightly mixed feelings about it. They give it a little bit of thought before deciding it's not such a bad thing.

Their S/o can come after them all they want but as long as they comfort Pyro after the battle. They just don't want to confuse their S/o when they're mad or flirty.

Demoman

Is also a bit confused at first on why his S/o does this but eventually understands, shrugging as he decides to normalize it.

Demo is always up for a little chase between him and his partner but eventually uses his bombs to launch him into the air, looking smug as he gets away from them.

Though when they do catch him and corner him, he half-seriously half-jokingly tries to compromise with his S/o. Even if he already knows the outcome and wether he will be spared or slain.

Engineer

The first time his S/o comes to kill him specifically, he kind of expects it and manages to defend himself. The next times are when he's caught off-guard.

It trains Engineer's reflexes from how many times his S/o comes to kill him. The next time his S/o or a spy pays a visit, he's ready to turn around like an owl and smack a bitch across the face with a wrench.

He doesn't really understand how his S/o sees them killing him as flirting...until they whisper something in his ear right before slashing his throat. Then he's walking back to his sentries red-faced.

Heavy

Poor guy is just like: "What did I do?.." the first time his S/o kills him over and over in a match because he doesn't really understand why his S/o would want to kill him other than them being mad at him.

At the end of the day, Heavy would go to his S/o and ask if he has made them upset. He sort of bashfully asks them if he's done something wrong but is relieved when they tell him it's just a way of showing their affection.

It takes him a little while to grasp the idea, but he gets there. Though he tries to hide it for the cameras all around the battlefield watching them, he likes the exchange of murdering eachother.

Medic

The first time it happens he's very annoyed with his S/o. He's the Medic! His teammates constantly need healing and here they were killing him over and over!

He tries to strain from his usual paths that he uses in battle and tries to be unpredictible so his S/o has a harder time getting to him. But that usually doesn't work.

Medic really only figures out what's happening when his S/o starts being cheeky and makes comments before killing him.

Overall, he finds his S/o bothering him but really deep down he loves them and their antics.

Spy

Quickly catches up on what his S/o is doing. C'mon, this guy knows everything there is to know about flirting and is actually quite amused at such a way of affection.

He starts to expect his S/o's attacks and fights back and it ends up being a dangerous dance between the two lovers. Literally, when you dodge eachoter's attacks it could pass like a dance.

Jokes on his S/o, because Spy starts to kill them more too. Though, both teams start to call them sickening lovebirds because their loving rivalry is way too noticable. (And kind of annoying)

Demon! Reader going around, popping up in difficult areas to get into during something really important (I.e a briefing, new Intel, anything like that).

Someone drew a sigil to keep demons in one space as a joke (Soap) and Reader was stuck there for three hours because everyone was laughing too damn hard.

Reader watches Ghost sleep sometimes to keep the paralysis demons at bay for him. Ghost returns the favor by allowing Reader 1 (one) human skull each day. (Ghost takes the skulls out of the people's heads on the battlefeild and wipes them off each time. He carries a designated 'Skull bag'.)

Reader is oddly afraid of the teammates who are religious.

Reader seems to very much enjoy walking around base at night in their demonic form, because maintaining a corporal form for 12 or more hours a day is exhausting. Scares the shit out of Price when Price leaves the office at like 1 am from doing paper work and there's this black mass with bright yellow eyes slowly walking twords him. Price nearly shits hinself.

Pops up in Soaps vicinity sometimes and taps him on the shoulder just to hear Soap scream like a little bitch. (Reader does the same to Gaz; but Gaz punches them in the stomach *then* screams.)

A blood red cardinal flies over a snow covered battlefeild. As scattered soldiers run through ancient ruins in a failure to flee. For a momment a gray sky is flecked with scarlet.

A human archer sees the bird as he's checking his surroundings, while trying to fire his arrow at an orc. He sees the cardinal and remembers how they used to perch upon the roof of his town chapel when he was young. He remembers the play that they always put on in the winter, realizing he's already missed it due to the war, and hopes he can see it again next year. He fires his arrow at the orc, looking into her golden-red eyes, her pale green skin, her teeth as sharp as knives and her pitch black armor, seeing the monster his arrow has taken flight at he thinks to all he's heard of orcs, of how they destroy and defile every kingdom they come to, in his mind if he does not kill her, there will be no winter play.

An orcish warroir sees the red bird flying overhead. She thinks back to when she was young, and how cardinals would nest within the black stone buildings of her city every winter. How the storytellers and bards would tell stories were the cardinal was a trickster spirit, how they'd tell stories to the children of the city when it was too cold for them to play outside. She was too distracted by her own thoughts to realize the arrow aimed at her, until in struck her neck.

As she was bleeding on the steps of an ancient ruined temple, she looked up at the human who had shot her. She'd never seen humans from this far west before, they had blue eyes here. She wondered, trying to take her mind off of the pain that was killing her, if the creature that had shot her had storytellers of his own people, or if such joys were antithetical to the violence of such as brutal army. As she closed her eyes for the last time, she mourned that she would never hear the storytellers' songs again.

ive kinda had this idea for a sona for a while so could i please have the mercs with a freind whos job is that, when one of the mercs is sick or otherwise out of comission but a ceasefire cant be arranged, they fill in for them on the battlefeild? they dont live on base because they arent needed often enough, but they live nearby enough that theyve managed to bond with most of the mercs

Uhhh I can try? (Only doing a couple mercs hope that's okay)

Mercs with friend who's a jack of all trades

Demoman

he's quite impressed by how many jobs you can easily fill

He always gets super excited when he spots you on the battlefield even if you're on the enemy team

If you're on his team expect him to talk your ear off about what's been happening around the base

Surprisingly he's always got the best gossip on the other mercs (besides Spy of course)

Heavy

He was super confused when he first saw you on the battlefield

But pretty soon he notices how you can perfectly snipe people while also filling in for Spy

He's super impressed by your talent

If you ever fill in for Heaby you're the only one he trusts to wield Sasha

Medic

He went to heal you the realized you weren't Engineer

He got super confused and youhad to explain your job

He can't believe he's never seen you before

But now you and Medic are good friends and he fills you in on the goings on around the bass, and you and him complain about having to heal people since you've subbed in for Medic before

Sniper

He's impressed and a little jealous that you can snipe as well as him while also being able to do Heavy's job perfectly

He always does go into battles a little happier when you're on his side

Also if you're filling in for Medic he'll always come down from his perch so you can heal him (much to Medic's annoyance when he finds out)

I feel the need to inform you that at one time they tried to make a double barreled canon (it would fire a pair of Canon balls attached via chain. This was during the Civil war.) The test target was the broad side of a barn. It missed the barn. Took out a few cows. And a good chunk of woods.

The canon was never put in use on the battlefeild

Yeah they really did not have the capacity to synchronize fuses the way that something like that needs, to say nothing of the chaotic centrifugal force that happens unless they're moving exactly the same speed starting at the same time.

A/N: this isnt serious! I just wanted to play around with a funny crack fic drabble.

"Stupid little jedi you seek to fight me? I'll show you the power of the darkside;" kylo growled out as his old masters youngest prodigy stepped forward readying to fight without a weapon.

"You know what? Do it. Make my day" kylo frowned behinde his mask at that faltering for a second at the sincere angered words spat at him.

"W-what?" He asked confused by the lack of fear or anxiety. This girl was either incredibly stupid or just had a deathwish. He looked to luke, then rey who both seemed to grow more uncomfortable with the situation.

"I said do it hit me up motherfucker you and me, right now lets go!" The tiny woman spoke up still heading towards him.

"Y/n for the love of god stop antagonising him! He's the fucking supreme leader now?! What the fuck?!" Luke called out to the small enraged woman that was still stalking towards kylo unarmed.

"Id listen to your master little jedi, i will use the dark side of the force on you, torture you couldnt ever dream of;" he tried again to intimidate the small female but it didnt work she infact she began rolling up her sleeves.

"I hope the fuck you do. Because then when i use the force to rip your lungs out your asshole i wont look like the bitch" she snarled pointing at him threateningly. Okay, that was unexpected? Kylo really didnt know what to do now? She wasnt palying the part of jedi, infact she seemed worse then him? It frightened him a little bit.

"Yeah thats right I aint playing silly buggers. If you gonna be all dark side voodoo scary boy with a red glow stick ima be a the psycho bitch that fucks you up bare hands. Im gona uno reverse this shit" she uttered into the stunned silence. Though luke and rey seemed more embarrassed and disappointed then shocked by the threat.

"Did.... did she just threaten to rip my lungs out of my ass?" Kylo asked the other two hesitantly whislt pointing to the she devil glareing up at him with an unsettling look of convictionon her face. She was 100% serious. He really wasnt registering this situation at all and was completely shook.

"Yeah she can do it too.... We're still working on the whole... rage thing" rey uttered quietly rubbing the back of her neck whilst shrugging. Luke nodded in agreement.

"And i was the fucking problem?! Me?!" He screamed across the open space in an accusatory tone. Completely dumbfounded by the hypocrisy of it all. Luke did have the decency to look away sheepishly. Kylo then held his hands up muttering 'fuck this' and turning abandoning the battlefeild. He refused to fight crazy.

"Did i win? Wow that was easy" The small woman pondered outloud but kylo just wasnt getting involved. You were,luke and reys problem, not his.

I've been thinking abt Luffy, which isn't unusual ofc, but the way Gear 5 is i feel like a theme of eldrich horror would suit him haha

Being too much for his own body so he keeps bending and twisting and moulding into a more suitable shape. His laugh is too loud and his smile is too wide and his arms and legs stretch too much and everything is too funny and he can't keep still and everything looks so interesting and like a playground rather then a battlefeild, he can't stop looking at everything from the new perspective

Just like an enigma, absolutely not normal in any way, unlimited by logic now, uncaring of the natural laws of nature

Like he IS the unknown now, gods should be an incomprihensible being imo (ofc Luffy isn't a god just has a devil fruit named after one, but when they're so similar in personality well... he takes after the god at least a bit hehe)
