Forest tower, seen from a stained window

Can we take a second to appreciate the fact that every single person in Maya’s family from home took the time to work and learn ASL to communicate with her.
Even today many deaf children born into hearing families have to struggle with communication because their families don’t learn to communicate in their language. Being isolated from conversations and that bonding element is a really big deal for many kids.
The first few minutes of Echo show that the adults in her life are trying to practice signing while she isn’t even around!!!
Then looking at her relationship with Fisk and how he communicates with her is so vastly different. He knew her for YEARS and saw her often enough to be “uncle” and to pick her up from school. Yet he still didn’t learn or use ANY sign until he was begging her for his life!

“who are you? i don’t even know your name” “don’t be in such a rush. you will give me a name someday. and i live in terror of that day” / “i’m afraid to turn around. not of your anger, though. i’m afraid i’ll see nobody” / “go on dreaming. when you dream about my likeness you create it” / “when you loved no one you never thought of death” / “give her proof of her love” “shall i?” “kill her before she sees you” “no!” “then kill yourself” “how?” “let her go”
literally who is doing it like them. no one. no one. no one.

Peggy Carter lost her style
And we should weep about it
Once AGAIN complaining about Cap Carter because they even gave her Steve's casual clothes.
I understand the suits, in fact I've loved to see her in Cap's suit especially the stealth one that is my favorite but come on even casual clothes?
Mind you this is the woman that totally flexed her style being a beacon of color in an all grey suit, she's supposed to stand out.
Peggy's character in Agent Carter doesn't show us a woman that takes the identity or markers of a man to "fit in", her character shows she is just as good as the boys while being a woman, while embracing her femininity.
Peggy Carter has such a beautiful style, I swear I fell in love with her with each set of clothes, she's absolutely beautiful come on, also look at the COLORS!!! She wears dark colors as well but she isn't afraid of color too
And I know Cap Carter is no longer in the 40s and would probably embrace pants more but what if she wears a dress just because she likes it? And we DO have Peggy Carter outfits with pants
Look at the style, look at the colors, she wears greys too but she looks absolutely stylish and fantastic and beautiful while kicking ass.
By forcing Cap Carter into Steve's clothes they are once again telling us they don't care about Peggy, they made a female Steve Rogers, they never bothered to modernize what Peggy Carter from the 40s would've liked to wear in modern times considering she's a woman and we have the precursor of these styles in her Agent Carter show, nope we are just going to see what Cap was wearing in the Winter Soldier movie.
Of course I don't expect her to wear this in particular but she looks so plain... I wish they would've tried just a little or give her a different style, still modern, still maybe serious in greys but more her.
Please Marvel don't be afraid of showing her with color or for fxks sake just something that isn't STEVE!!!!
