everyone picking up on each other's traumas and grief as well as having distinct self-awareness of their own. "we all have things we don't talk about 😔". multiple scenes of compassionate, empathetic communication between the characters demonstrating their ability to recognize their own experiences in others and provide comfort to the best of their ability.

Ok so, I like everyone else on the planet am obsessed with the new Castlevania series rn ( Richter has my whole heart) and obvi I am so happy Alucard is back. I will say, seeing my boy so devoid of color and only his golden eyes still so deep makes me so emo. He used to have a yellow cloak and even though he was half Vampire he still looked alive and had a bit of color in his skin. Now after being alone for so long he looks so much more ethereal and angelic but so much less alive. Basically what I’m saying is that the artists are killing it with the non verbal storytelling and I will not be happy ever again until my boy cracks a smile and flips someone off.

Ooh I got an idea! Olrox had to transform into a his dragon form to protect richter…he thought the boy would be more afraid of him however he was dumbfounded when the boy demanded and begged for a ride instead

Olrox transforms into this giant serpent with wings and feathers and fights whatever vampire has been threatening them, only to notice Richter standing there, star-eyed once he’s done.

Olrox looks at him, surprised, and speaks in that low, growly dragon voice “You…like this form, little one?”

Richie tries masking his reaction a little, he doesn’t want to give his captor the satisfaction of being admired, but excitement is too strong to contain. “You look…really cool.” He says, flustered. “Can-will we travel home like this?”

Olrox should have expected that. Of course little Belmont would be impressed. Children love dragons, but for whatever reason he was still unprepared for the positive reaction. “You..want to ride on my back—”

“YES—I mean, if I have to…” He pouts dramatically, but the dragon grins and slides down, offering him a spot right behind the feathers. Richter is amazed even more to see them up close, glittering in the moonlight, and gently grabs them as he settles on the scaly back of the creature.
