Went to beningbrough hall today, as last time we went it was raining and the house was closed. The gardens are really lovely and nice to walk round, but inwouldnt recommend the house. It just felt really souless and like a bunch of rooms not a home. We think it was because everything got sold off and its such a shame. The outside of the house is beautiful but i didnt feel the soul of the house, i couldnt imagine people living there and perhaps most of all there was no kitchen ot servants quarters to look round, which are my favourite places to see as its where most things happened.

But overall a lovely day and i saw some very peculiar(beautiful) looking dahlias (one even with a busy bee on it!).
