So I meet Ben Diskin back in November.
Wow, Wren, you meet a VA, that's... nice?
It is because I walked up to him in my Saya (Blood Plus) Ball Gown and I go, "Hi, I have kinda a deep cut for you to sign?" And I was a little nervous and he says Hi and seams excited for whatever I'm about to hand him. And I pull put Volume 1. Of the Blood Plus Anime. And his face lights up! And I tell him about my dress, about the award I won with it. About how much that series means to me and he tells me a fun story.
Apparently he JUST had Lasik right before his first anime VA roll, which was Blood plus, and so he would walk in and preform with sun glasses and then sometimes look up from the script and all the people on the other side of the booth would be wearing sun glasses.
He was such a nice guy and seamed genuinely do excited that people still love that show that was his first ever role.

The Smiling Critters - CatNap Headcanons & AU info
Tumblr media
Heyyy! I have drawn CatNap in my style/AU! I suck at poses still. And following below is some CatNap headcanons/AU info.
A little info before looking at the headcanon and AU info below:
The Smiling Critters are young adults in the AU (currently unnamed). This is CatNap as a young adult (20 years old). Art of him in his younger years will appear later in the future.
The AU will be focused primarily in the cartoon universe, with a few elements from the game.
Because the AU is still in the works, some of these planned infos/headcanons will change.
There will be ships involved, especially CatNap x DogDay.
And that’s it for now! Next would be our favorite sun dog!
Toon/Cardboard CatNap Headcanons (Game)
Headcanon Voice: Benjamin Diskin
Sounds like: Jack from Beastars, Haida from Aggretsuko
Headcanon cardboard cutout lines:
Hey, there! My name is CatNap! Have you been getting enough rest?
Oh. You haven’t? Well, sleep is very important for you!
I can help you go to sleep.
I can even you make your dreams come true!
All you have to do… is follow him…
*soft exhale*
🌙 AU Info 🌙
CatNap and DogDay lived pretty far away from each other when they were young.
CatNap is the quiet and reserved type and rarely talks. But when someone asks or tells him to talk, he talks. He talks a little more when DogDay is with him. He is only more talkative when he’s alone. Example:
🌸 CraftyCorn 🌸: Hey, CatNap! What do you think of my lavender painting?
🌙 CatNap 🌙: *thumbs up* Good.
☀️ DogDay ☀️: Hey, CatNap! How are you doing?
🌙 CatNap 🌙: *tiredly, but still smiling* I’m doing alright, DogDay? And you?
CatNap was DogDay’s very first friend. They met in elementary school. CatNap was a loner and many kids did not want to hang out with him because he was “too creepy.” DogDay was the one who insisted that he will be CatNap’s first friend. Ever since then, the dog and cat have been inseparable.
CatNap and DogDay kept in touch when they were in high school. Unfortunately, the two were in separate high schools, but they never stopped talking to each other. It’s mostly through letters as they did not have phones at the time.
CatNap slowly began to develop feelings for DogDay throughout his high school years. He gave the dog small hints and signs, but DogDay was so oblivious and dense.
CatNap left with DogDay to their new homes because not only did DogDay request he come with him, but CatNap also felt like he was ready to move out and be on his own. Not to mention weird dreams he had of a voice telling him to go with DogDay.
When DogDay and CatNap went to the mysterious land, they found their new homes. And their new pendents.
After he walked into the mysterious land, CatNap was secretly happy that his new house and DogDay’s new house are close to each other. And also the fact that his house is a cat tree and he is allowed to scratch on it.
Ever since he moved into his new house, he spent most of the day, sleeping in his new comfortable bed.
Every time CatNap visits each one of his friends’ homes and sees where they sleep, he feels tempted to save up all of his money and buy every single one of them a comfortable bed or something that can be like a bed.
CatNap, just like what his bio says, enjoys watching his friends sleep. He makes sure everyone has a good night’s rest. That includes making sure they have a nightmare-free sleep, and as he stays up, he keeps watch over his friends. Protecting them through the night. And when dawn breaks, he turns in for the day.
He loves to knead DogDay’s belly. His fur is so soft and smells of vanilla, he cannot resist making biscuits.
CatNap acts like a cat a lot. He even loafs, sleeps in such strange (yet cute) positions, and even has cat body language (slow blinking at DogDay, tail up to show he’s happy/friendly, dilating white pupils once he spots a perfect target to pounce on). And he can land on his feet.
CatNap likes to sit and sleep in boxes, sit in anything he can fit in, and pretty much sit where he wants. Why? Because he wants to and it’s comfortable.
He even said one time, “If I fits, I sits.”
One time, Bobby BearHug just hugged DogDay while CatNap was nearby. After Bobby let him go and left, CatNap just quietly went to DogDay and rubbed himself against the dog’s side like how a cat rubs itself on things, mixing his lavender scent into DogDay’s vanilla scent.
Add onto the fact that CatNap can smell who hugged/touched who. PickyPiggy is a bit of a tough one since she eats many different foods, even peppermint candies and vanilla dessert.
Ever since CatNap walked into the land that will soon become his new home and neighborhood, he has been given two breath abilities. One is lavender, but the red gas came as a last resort if someone keeps staying up late, but it also comes out if he has ill intent, negative emotions, or is under stress. Following that is magical powers, since he was chosen to represent the Moon and all of its aspects (Night, Sleep, Dreams, and Darkness).

Profiles in Villainy
The Delightful Children From Down The Lane
Equal parts victims as they are villains, young Bruce, David, Alessandra, Lenny and Constance are the decorous and genteel agents of the nefarious cad known only as 'Father.'  The true origins of these children remain unknown.  At some point they came under the spell of Father who ‘Delightfulized’ them, a potent psychological conditioning that fully suppresses all willfulness, rambunctiousness and independence in children.  This made them the perfect children in Father’s eyes: well-mannered, obedient, respectful to their elders and unquestionably loyal to Father’s diabolical schemes of conquest.
These Delightful Children From Down The Lane came to be primary antagonists to the young agents of Codename: Kids Next Door.  They employ advanced technology ranging from giant robots to freeze rays in their mission to take down The Kids Next Door once and for all.  Fortunately, the Kids have always managed to stay a step ahead, evading the delightful children's attacks, and thwarting Father’s plots.
The Delightful Children From Down The Lane are voiced by actors Benjamin Diskin, Dee Bradley Baker and Cree Summer.  The young villains first appeared in the debut episode of Codename: Kids Next Door, airing on December 6th, 2002.

Until this month, Bibi Netanyahu was a HŪGE fanboy of Hamas. Their relationship goes back decades. This is not some wacko conspiracy theory. Much of the information about this comes from mainstream Israeli media and high ranking Israeli former officials.
Here are excerpts from an in-depth article at the CBC – Canada's public broadcaster.
Israelis don't agree on much, especially lately, but polling shows they mostly agree that Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu is to blame for leaving Israel unprepared for Hamas's onslaught on October 7. The accusations aimed at Netanyahu go beyond merely failing to foresee or prevent the Hamas attack of October 7, however. Many accuse him of deliberately empowering the group for decades as part of a strategy to sabotage a two-state solution based on the principle of land for peace. "There's been a lot of criticism of Netanyahu in Israel for instating a policy for many years of strengthening Hamas and keeping Gaza on the brink while weakening the Palestinian Authority," said Mairav Zonszein of the International Crisis Group. "And we've seen that happening very clearly on the ground." "(Hamas and Netanyahu) are mutually reinforcing, in the sense that they provide each other with a way to continue to use force and rejectionism as opposed to making sacrifices and compromises in order to reach some kind of resolution," Zonszein told CBC News from Tel Aviv.
Bibi and Hamas could be called "frenemies".
Yuval Diskin, former head of Israel's Shin Bet security service, told the daily newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth in 2013 that "if we look at it over the years, one of the main people contributing to Hamas's strengthening has been Bibi Netanyahu, since his first term as prime minister." In August 2019, former prime minister Ehud Barak told Israeli Army Radio that Netanyahu's "strategy is to keep Hamas alive and kicking … even at the price of abandoning the citizens [of the south] … in order to weaken the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah." The logic underlying this strategy, Barak said, is that "it's easier with Hamas to explain to Israelis that there is no one to sit with and no one to talk to."
The Bibi-Hamas relationship goes back almost 30 years. In some ways, Hamas helped put Bibi in power in the first place.
Netanyahu first came to power in the 1996 election that followed the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin by an Israeli extremist opposed to the Oslo Accords. Early polls showed Rabin's successor Shimon Peres comfortably ahead. Determined to sabotage Oslo, Hamas embarked on a ruthless suicide bombing campaign that helped Netanyahu pull ahead of Peres and win the election on May 29, 1996. Today, some of the same extremists who called for Rabin's death hold power in Netanyahu's government.
A reminder that the current Israeli government led by Netanyahu is the most far right in Israel's history. Netanyahu filled it with extremists, religious fanatics, and virulent ethno-nationalists in order to stay in power.
Just two weeks before Rabin's assassination, a young settler extremist posed for the cameras with a Cadillac hood ornament he said he had stolen from Rabin's car. "Just like we got to this emblem," he said, "we could get to Rabin." Today, that young man, Itamar Ben Gvir, is 45 years old and has eight Israeli criminal convictions — including convictions for supporting a terrorist organization and incitement to racism. Once he was rejected by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for his extremist views. Now, Israel's police must answer to him as Benjamin Netanyahu's minister of national security.
Imagine how a second Trump administration would be and you get a hint of what Bibi's pre-October 7th cabinet was like.
The Bibi-Hamas connection only gets worse.
Netanyahu's hawkish defence minister Avigdor Liberman was the first to report in 2020 that Bibi had dispatched Mossad chief Yossi Cohen and the IDF's officer in charge of Gaza, Herzi Halevi, to Doha to "beg" the Qataris to continue to send money to Hamas. "Both Egypt and Qatar are angry with Hamas and planned to cut ties with them. Suddenly Netanyahu appears as the defender of Hamas," the right-wing leader complained. A year later, Netanyahu was further embarrassed when photos of suitcases full of cash going to Hamas became public. Liberman finally resigned in protest over Netanyahu's Hamas policy which, he said, marked "the first time Israel is funding terrorism against itself."
Yep, Bibi actually had a bag man deliver cash to Hamas.
The Palestinian Authority's Ahmed Majdalani accused the Qatari envoy of carrying money to Hamas "like a gangster." "The PLO did not agree to the deal facilitating the money to Hamas that way," he said.
Netanyahu fancies himself as a clever Machiavellian playing one side against the other. He has even bragged of this to members of his party.
On March 12, 2019, Netanyahu defended the Hamas payments to his Likud Party caucus on the grounds that they weakened the pro-Oslo Palestinian Authority, according to the Jerusalem Post: "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Israel's regular allowing of Qatari funds to be transferred into Gaza, saying it is part of a broader strategy to keep Hamas and the Palestinian Authority separate, a source in Monday's Likud faction meeting said," the Post reported. "The prime minister also said that 'whoever is against a Palestinian state should be for' transferring the funds to Gaza, because maintaining a separation between the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and Hamas in Gaza helps prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state."
Of course Bibi was ultimately being too clever by half.
Netanyahu insisted that neither the money nor the construction material given to Hamas would be diverted to military purposes. But today, the IDF finds itself showing how Hamas has done exactly that — by diverting and converting civilian funds and materials to warlike purposes. The military tried to warn him at the time, former IDF chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot told the Ma'ariv newspaper. He said Netanyahu acted "in total opposition to the national assessment of the National Security Council, which determined that there was a need to disconnect from the Palestinians and establish two states."
A lot of radical chic Hamas fans in Western countries will undoubtedly try to obscure the fact that they are cheering the same group which a far right Israeli politician (until recently) has been lavishing with tons of cash.
And the Bibi-Hamas connection is a reminder that while far right politicians in many countries like to portray themselves as tough on security, they will usually put their craven lust for power above all.

Do you have any voice fancasts for when (if) Twst gets an anime?
Hmm, you mean as in the cast fans think is fitting or fandubs? (Well, I'm guessing you'd have said fandubs if you meant it 💀). Anyways, I have only seen a few English dub choices of others (which I don't even remember anymore fml) but I personally have some hopes regarding the Dub (since we obviously - and hopefully - don't need a new Sub cast):
For example, I really hope that Dub Ace gets Benjamin Diskin (previous voice of Tachihara [BSD] and VA of Dot Barrett [Mashle] - And many more, ofc) bc that voice just makes sense to me. Idk, especially while watching Mashle, Dinkins voice is just Ace-coded.
I've seen many people say they hope Riddle gets Ciels VA but I'm so hard against that. For one: The joke is getting old. On the other hand, I don't think it suits as good as people believe. I personally hope for Zeno Robinson (VA of Vanitas [Vanitas No Carte] and Dazai Osamu [Bungou to Alchemist]).
And I personally would completely lose it if they'd manage to give the Tweels the VAs of the Ouran Twins. Just making it for the shits and giggles, it would be hilarious (they *are* just as mischievous, that's for sure).
But honestly? I'd be already happy if they'd get the anime done to begin with lmfaoo (and I hope they'll keep the Jp voices as they are)
[I also feel like I misunderstood your question, so lmk if I'm wrong] Do you have any?

Radiator Springs/Rusteze-Dinoco Racing Center/Fireball Beach/Thunder Hollow/Thomasville/Florida International Speedway (Cars)
Takes place after Cars 3.
It isn’t combat based. Missions include keeping up with McQueen’s top speed by racing down Radiator Springs’ main street, learning how to turn right to go left at Willy’s Butte, keeping up with Cruz’s top speed on Fireball Beach, avoiding pushy competitors with the Thunder Hollow challengers, and practicing with Cruz at Thomasville, culminating in the Piston Cup race at Florida International Speedway, where the objective is to win against Jackson Storm.
Sora enters the world as a custom-made sports coupe mixing a few real-life sports car models before visits to Luigi’s Casa Della Tires and Ramone’s House of Body Art end with him modified into a next-gen race car sponsored by Dinoco (with Tex’s blessing) and with Cruz’s number.
It’s set during Cruz’s first Piston Cup racing season, so McQueen still has Doc’s colors and spends the Florida race as Sora’s crew chief.
As Sora finishes his story, Mater is certainly unhappy with Xehanort’s actions forcing Sora’s hand. “That dad-gum Xehanort”, he says angrily. Extra points if Sora doesn’t get to the part where Xehanort is dead, then Sarge gets in his face and demands him to teach Xehanort a lesson when he gets back in a militaristic manner. “Is that understood,” Sarge yells. Then Sora tries to correct him, but gets cut off and asked again, “Is that understood,” and has to respond, “Sir, yes, sir!”
Of course, during the top speed races, Luigi is the one to signal the race to begin.
In the Radiator Springs race, Sora’s top speed is tracked by Sheriff’s speed radar, and on Fireball Beach, it’s via Cruz’s personal assistant, Hamilton.
If you fail the “Turn Right to go Left” mission, Sora goes flying into the bed of cacti, and Mater fishes him out.
I know I’ll get hate for this, but Cars 2 elements are here. Heck, maybe Mater can’t be present most for the training because he’s busy with Finn and Holley. After all, does he still owe Holley a first date?
I wanted the player character in this world to be Kairi just so Storm can feel the embarrassment of losing to not one, but two “costume girls”.
The Piston Cup race is announced as a 500-lap race, but no game developer is that malicious to force the player to race 500 laps around an oval, so they’d take after the first Cars game and make it twelve laps with the sun slowly lowering throughout the race.

Hanzo Hasashi WILL appear, but not as Scorpion, obviously, but also not as a young child either.
