whats his caregiver like!
When I was deciding who his caregiver was I decided I didn't want to use an OC but then I had to start looking into which canon characters I think would have an interesting dynamic. I started with medical professionals and after eliminating Dr. Icecream and Dr. Donut the only two left after Nurse Poundcake and Dr Princess. Dr princess is obviously very Betty reminiscent which would be pretty stressful and I think she also wouldn't really want this job, and then I remembered the episode "The Diary" and realized that Nurse Poundcake is actually pretty perfect?? On a surface level yes she's a nurse, she's got experience dealing with patients, but also I think her and Simon would have an interesting dynamic considering she has been affected by magic before, is critical of Princess Bubblegum which Simon also totally is, and is just a very strong woman. I think they would actually have very interesting interactions and it helps Simon calm down about the idea of having a full time medical caregiver when it's someone he realizes he doesn't have to lie to because she is never going to pity him. She's primarily there for medical assistance but as his condition progresses of course it gains more scope.
The extreme lifespan of candy people is also very useful when you're an immortal that needs assistance

Princess Bubblegum is a "Gum Golem", a being composed of both human and candy DNA, and rules the Candy Kingdom, which is inhabited by other "Candy People". She is good friends with the series' protagonists Finn the Human and Jake the Dog, first appearing with them in Ward's 2008 pilot.
CharacterEdit
PersonalityEdit
Bubblegum is typically very kind and compassionate, having a strong sense of justice, though she shows a dark side when provoked. She is highly intelligent, being responsible for the creation of the Candy People as well as various devices including a miniature time machine. She is fluent in German and Korean, using the latter language to communicate with her friend Lady Rainicorn. Bubblegum is skeptical of magic, refusing to acknowledge it as anything other than “scientific principles presented like mystical hoodoo”.
Bubblegum is highly protective of the Candy People and cares deeply for their safety, but is secretly strained by the pressures of ruling and expresses a desire for freedom. Following a near-death experience at the end of the second season, she starts to isolate herself and becomes overprotective of the Candy People, even exhibiting authoritarian tendencies temporarily in the fifth season. At the end of the sixth season, Bubblegum is deposed as ruler following an election, where she realizes she has made the Candy People too unintelligent. Following the miniseries Stakes, Bubblegum is reinstated as ruler and becomes less overprotective.
CharacteristicsEdit
Bubblegum has light pink skin and long magenta "hair", which is actually bubblegum. Her usual outfit is a puffy-sleeved pink gown with purple trim. Among many other outfits, she often wears a lab coat during science experiments.
Being made of candy, Bubblegum is able to deform and reform her own biomass, through which she can regain lost body parts and fluctuate her biological age. Princess Bubblegum's birthday is on October 16. She usually appears bodily to be eighteen years old, though her actual age is given as 827; she was born hundreds of years prior to the events of the series from a gum-like ooze, the "Mother Gum". Bubblegum temporarily becomes thirteen years old in the third season due to losing too much biomass after being attacked by the Lich.[7]
In the seventh season, Bubblegum discovers that she is an incarnation of the "Candy Elemental", the living embodiment of candy as one of the Adventure Time universe's four classical elements (fire, water, candy, and slime). As the Elemental, she can materialize various quantities of candy through her hands and communicate with past incarnations of the Elemental. When Bubblegum's elemental powers consume her in the miniseries Elements, she becomes psychically connected to all candy in the universe, and can transform others into candy, upon which they lose memory of their life prior to their transformation.
RelationshipsEdit
Besides Lady Rainicorn, Bubblegum is very good friends with Finn and Jake. In early episodes and the pilot, Finn has a crush on Bubblegum, often saving her from Ice King, though he eventually realizes she is too old for him. Finn still has feelings for Bubblegum afterward, as he becomes angry when she tries to intervene in his relationship with Flame Princess, believing her to be jealous when she actually fears for his safety as Flame Princess is highly unstable. Ice King has a strange fascination with Bubblegum due to her being a princess; it is revealed that she reminds him of his fiancée Betty, whom he often referred to as his "princess".
Bubblegum has a strong bond with Marceline, whom she refers to as her "best friend" in Stakes. Though they are initially shown as hostile toward each other, they are implied to have a past romantic relationship in the third season. In the final episode, they share a kiss together after Marceline saves Bubblegum from GOLB, and are shown in a relationship in the epilogue.
Bubblegum has a younger brother named Neddy, who is a "candy dragon" that was born alongside her in the Mother Gum. Neddy lives underneath the Candy Kingdom where Bubblegum keeps him isolated, as he is very easily frightened. Bubblegum is highly protective of Neddy as she is with the other Candy People, claiming that Neddy is merely "built different... we just need to respect it".
Bubblegum's first creation was her "Uncle" Gumbald, whom she created after feeling lonely and desiring a companion. Gumbald originated the idea of a Candy Kingdom but became tyrannical, forcing Bubblegum to turn him into an average, unintelligent Candy Person using "dum-dum juice". Bubblegum also created an "Aunt" Lolly and a "Cousin" Chicle, who were also turned into Candy People for assisting Gumbald. Near the end of the series, Gumbald, Lolly, and Chicle are returned to their prior forms and seek revenge on Bubblegum, though Gumbald and Chicle are turned back into Candy People. Lolly repents and reconciles with Bubblegum, helping her look after Neddy as seen in the epilogue. Bubblegum's other creations include the Earl of Lemongrab and two "candy sphinxes" named Goliad and Stormo.

Huntress and Bill
So since I’m pretty sure @triangularus isn’t coming back any time soon, or ever, and our arc kinda fell on a cliffhanger due to haituses and other factors, I’ve decided to move on and write a bulletin point of  things that happened, were planned to happen, and how this affects my portrayal of HW in the long run.
Keep in mind that this is only pertainable to my main verse, and that AUs such as Zelda and Fallout verses are not applicable to this character development.
So, without further ado, here we go.
1. Things that DID happen
Part one
- HW is plagued with premonition dreams of doom and destruction of GOLB’s arrival, (nearing the Adventure Time series finale)
- After multiple nightmares, HW decides to pull out some spell books to assist her in sleeping, thinking there is not much she can do to prevent the destruction of her universe and only wanting to get as much peace as possible.
- One of the books shows instructions of a dream spirit that helps ease the summoner to good rest. HW decides to follow the instructions to summon Bill
- Bill appears in her dreams; HW finds out right away that the book was purposefully misleading and that Bill is NOT a simple dream spirit.
- Bill still keeps on an innocent facade, despite HW not buying it, and offers to help her problem in reality, instead of just easing her premonition dreams, in exchange for a favor.
- Already aware that something’s up, but knowing that she and her reality is doomed anyway to GOLB, she decides she doesn’t have much to lose and asks him to elaborate on what he wants as a favor instead of being cryptic about it.
- Knowing she’s going to take the deal anyway, Bill outright states that he wants a portal from his plane of existence to hers. HW states that she can do this but she will do it HER way and that she will need something from his plane in order to make the portal.
- Bill transfers a small fraction of his power to her. This is an important factor for later.
- The deal is accepted and the contract is sealed. Bill keeps his end of the bargain and keeps not only Finn and co. alive, but pulls the strings just enough to allow them to figure out GOLB’s weakness and send him away with Betty’s sacrifice.
Part two
- The small fraction of Bill’s power that was given to her begins to fuse with HW’s own magical power, having adverse side effects, including, but not limited, to scarily-increased magical prowess, bouts of insanity, different ‘corrupt’ forms of shapeshifting, and a romantic infatuation with Bill to the point that it gets straight up yandere.
- This was not intended on Bill’s part, but he finds it absolutely hilarious and plays along into it. Thinking he’d make her one of his henchmaniacs if she completed her end of the bargain and became too far gone.
- The whole time, HW is mentally struggling and fighting with the influence, and even resists it a few times. Her strong will gets so resistant that she manages to break free of his possession at one point.
- Once temporarily free, HW fights off sleep in order to try and find Bill’s weakness. She goes back to where she bought the book from another wizard, who explains he found it on an island west off the coast of Ooo.
- The island winds up being the remnants of Gravity Falls. HW finds an old descendant of Soos and asks a few questions, but the descendant gets spooked at the mere mention of Bill’s name and runs off into the old ruins of the Mystery Shack.
- On her own, HW finds the grave of one of the Northwest’s, who have an old tapestry of Bill in the tomb. Using her enhanced chaotic powers, HW performs necromancy to bring the father of Pacifica back to life (but just barely, enough for the vocal chords to reanimate and talk) and interrogates/tortures the corpse for information. Ultimately, nothing comes from it, and HW leaves the tomb to find that most of the nature and plant life had been drained during her necromantic ritual.
- After 72+ of staying awake, HW finally passes out, and Bill finally takes over her body once again.
Part Three
- enter Finn @finncomet , noticing that HW has been acting incredbily strange(er) than usual lately.
- After some investigation on his part, he discovers what all has transpired between HW and Bill, and attempts to fix it.
- Bill, who is growing tired of HW’s infatuation with him, as well as finding her strong will intolerable to deal with, decides to make a deal with Finn instead, who volunteers to take HW’s place in servitude.
- HW gets straight up dumped, Bill saying that their relationship ‘isnt working out’ and ghosts her. HW finds out about Finn’s sacrifice and promises to help save him.
2. Things that were PLANNED to happen
- With Bill out of the picture, HW’s sanity starts to go up again. Turns out it was Bill being around the power fraction that he gave her that was causing her to act bananas.
- Eventually HW would have come into contact with Ford’s Journals at some point, and found out about the barrier he made, as well as the updated details on how they defeated Bill the first time
- HW would have collected the ingredients to create the barrier, and spied on Finn during his bouts of possession to find out where Bill was building the portal.
- HW would have attempted to build the barrier around the portal so that he would only be able to stay in a small, backyard-sized area of Ooo.
- This doesn’t work as HW is discovered, and at the last moment, the barrier is shattered and the portal is built, giving Bill free range of Ooo.
- HW’s trapped in a dream bubble. It’s surprisingly nice, and the setting is her wedding to her long-gone fiance and Finn’s previous incarnation, Ferris.
- Eventually HW would have noticed something is amiss, that the illusion isn’t real, and everything gets twisted and scary. Due to the power fraction of Bill, however, she eventually manages to overcome and destroy the bubble, but not before giving her dead fiance a farewell kiss.
- All-seeing and all-knowing, Bill sees her break out and congratulates HW on being the second person in thousands of years to escape one of his trap dreams (and off handedly mocks her because the last people to do so were children)
- With the collective effort of everyone in Ooo (Simon, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, Flame Princess, and Finn and Jake), they are able to summon a portal to a land between dimensions and shove Bill’s physical form into it.
3. Conclusion
- Ooo and the planet Earth once again narrowly escape destruction
- HW keeps the fraction of power from Bill, which makes her more resistant to dream magic and entities, as well as gives her cool, Eldtirtch shapeshifting powers.
