Episome, Otomo Yoshihide / Bill Laswell / Tatsuya Yoshida (2006)

Bill Laswell’s compositions and woozy dub bass see Otomo Yoshihide and Tatsuya Yoshida restrained – well, sort of – within the confines of psych-prog rock on Episome. Certainly the most polished I’ve heard Yoshida, it’s an interesting project; though while the confines are still broad, one imagines that if the three had burst forth a little more freely, if they’d really allowed themselves to reach heights of noise and passion and feeling, Episome would have left more of an impression.

Tobias Wilson as Gideon (12) - Represented by the symbol of a star, Tobias and Frankie are enemies for life. After meeting Darwin, Tobias wants him to be his best friend (and sibling) and would do anything to achieve that - even getting rid of Gumball for good. Tobias can manipulated everyone into thinking he's innocent and the victim. He also has (or had) supernatural powers - aka telekenesis - that he got it from the journal number 2.

Masami Yoshida as Pacifica Northwest (12) - Represented by the symbol of a cloud. Masami is the daughter of the most rich family in Elmore Falls - the Yoshidas. She starts a rivalry with the Watterson family, starting to pick up on Darwin and Gumball. Later, she'll have a better character development and will become closer to the Watterson siblings.

Felix Watterson as Stanford Pines (64) - This one isn´t in the show, I created him specially for this AU :) Felix and Frankie are twin brothers, they grew up together but after an incident, they grew apart. Felix is more serious than Frankie, and didn't even knew he had nephews (aka Gumball and Darwin) until he returned to Elmore Falls. He has a past story with Rob.

Rob as Bill Cipher (???) - Known as the main antagonist of the AU, Rob is a multidimensional creature (more like a demon) and a big treath for the Earth. He was summoned by Tobias to steal something from Frankie's mind, and after that he started to keep an eye on the Watterson family, more specially Gumball. Rob has a sarcastic and chaotic personality.
