New six minute video for Shinkalion Change the World. It's rawer than a fresh steak (I e.- no subtitles), so I can only guess as to what's happening.

The scenes seem weirdly out of order. This is all from the first episode and there's probably all setup in the first six minutes. So there's a brief fight scene crammed in there.

As a reminder- this show will take place within the framework of a middle school dormitory situation, which is common in Japan. For any Digimon nerds out there- Digimon Ghost Game's setting is similar. Which is why I think the scenes are not in order. He's in the robot, then at school then...moving into school? I don't think the actual episode will be like this. This is just a preview and I think they needed to showcase the new robots.

Also it seems Bina is Taisei's personal assistant, rather than connected to the organization controlling the Shinkalion. As the scenes are not in order and I can't understand Japanese, I'm not 100% sure on that. Bina can go in and out of Taisei's phone.

This made me a little less ambivalent towards Taisei (he still seems too much like Kirito #42397 though). But uh...did Akane have to do that weird lick thing? It really put me off to him as a character. We don't appreciate Hisoka vibes in this house.

Bill x Pina?

tbh a little overdone. I like it, don't get me wrong, but it's such a popular ship in a fandom that doesn't deviate a lot that I'm just, kinda worn out on it. Most of the best Bill/Pina stuff I've seen is really samey and you have to write so much into it to make it happen in the first place it never feels like it needed to be them.

It's all based on the shock egg chapter, which yeah they have chemistry, Pina undoubtedly has a thing for carnivores, but Pina has as much or more chemistry with a dozen other characters and Bill has a lot better like, thematic characters you could ship him with.

I think there's also a hint of, since Bill/Els is teased, fans just want a Bill ship that puts Bill with an herbivore, but Pina and Els are such different characters you don't really get the same dynamic. You can transpose Legoshi's feelings about herbivores from Haru to Louis and it all still tracks but not here, y'know? I think they're both characters that need chilling out from their partner and their extremes don't counteract each other well.
