The thing about Regulus is that he actually had a really lovely voice, but never sang in front of anyone other than Sirius. But Regulus couldn't help but learn every lyric to every song that peaked his obsession. Regulus generally listened to classical for background noise, but he was also a fan of almost anything.

This is what surprised James.

Regulus was in the kitchen. He had his headphones on and was making dinner. He was singing away, dancing a bit as he stirred and chopped and mixed. James wasn't supposed to be home for another hour, so Regulus planned to have dinner ready for when he did.

Except James was home now.

He walked into the house, kicking off his shoes, and called out to Regulus, but he did not hear him. James stopped himself as he heard someone singing and that someone was Regulus. His heart swelled. He moved about the house falling deeper in love to the sweet sound of Regulus' drawl as he sang and hummed. James leaned against the kitchen doorway, and just let his smile form on his face.

This is what surprised Regulus.

Regulus turned around, saw a man standing in his kitchen and screamed. When he realized it was James his heart finally started beating again.

"Would you say something when you come into the house!" Regulus yelled still in panic.

"I did, but you were crooning away." James replied, smile just as wide on his face as he entered the kitchen and put his arms around Regulus' waist.

Regulus shook his head, but leaned in to kiss James softly.

"Hi," James said sweetly as they pulled away.

"Hi back," Regulus said just as cute.

"You're early, so dinner will still be a bit," Regulus explained pulling away and moving back toward the stove.

"That's alright, I think you still have a few bars left of that last one," and James laughed as Regulus threw a mushroom at his head.

I had an idea with Black Mask inspired by The Sopranos. So I was curious about the Tony guy and the women around him, and found out that he apparently has a crush on his therapist but the therapist is very professional about it (slay).

Yandere Black Mask x reader who also has the influence and connections in the gang world, like THE informant, a pro assassin, part of a crime family, etc. This masked mob boss keeps on flirting with you when you just want to do your job 😭

God the life of Tony Soprano is a mess. Idk how James Gandolfini makes me feel things bc I would never touch irl Tony Soprano (I don't fuck with racists/homophobes/misogynists) but...that man was an amazing actor. He made me kinda feral sometimes and I can't explain it. Like all the main women except for his sister and mother are S Tier but Tony is also up there and I can't explain why

But anyway yeee Black Mask is not subtle when he wants to let you know he likes you. You're getting presents, you're getting flirty comments, the people who piss you off get their asses mysteriously kicked and their lives fucked with, etc.

not to get on my “the sopranos is all about gender” soapbox but one thing i find REALLY striking about this show so far is just how vividly it depicts how the men and women of this world are so unbelievably constrained by the extremely strict gender roles they inhabit that it even PREVENTS them from adequately performing these very same gender roles that they believe they have to fulfill 

#like the obvious example is tony soprano suppressing all his emotions to the point where he literally blacks out #but even carmela's inability to confront how she really feels damages her relationships with both tony and her kids #and the reason they can't communicate is that their marriage is fundamentally based in this dynamic #the sopranos #k watches the sopranos #text
