Once again posting fanart for the next episode of Death Battle Originally I was just mildly excited for the episode, but than I watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and than I watched the original Lilo and Stitch movie, and than I was also rewatching the Lilo and Stitch TV Show from my Childhood. And I realized just how perfectly this matchup worked and how well connected these two are in terms of their life stories. Admittedly I don't know as much about Rocket beyond the movies, hence why there are a few references to the MCU and even the MvC games, but I tried my best to cover my bases. Meanwhile for Stitch I just went all in from my memories and knowledge of all the Stitch media. Even including "Stitch!" and "Stitch and Ai" despite never watching either.

Really hope ya'll like this, I put a lot of effort into it and I'm really looking forward to the episode when it releases

A while back on my old twitter I redesigned the MCU Lylla as if she evolved and became more like her comic counterpart, I’d been wanting to do the same for Floor with the idea of them growing up to be a trans masc version of Blackjack O’ Hare, and today the creative juices flowed well enough at work for me to get it right.

When he had a crew of mercenaries under his wing they had a celebration they did together of gifting one another weapons and equipment and ignoring rank before getting very wasted. It wasn’t exactly a holiday but it’s the closest thing to one he’s participated in.

He’s almost entirely vegetarian so not a lot of meat with a leaning towards strong flavors and crisp textures. Steamed buns stuffed with bok choy and mushrooms. Gilgeori toast with extra jam. Bhel puri.

Cinnamon-basil for the warmth.

Honey and lilac posset, blueberry and nettle cheesecake. Fresh fruits combined with herbs are a favorite flavor pairing for sweets.

Hmm this "blackjack o’hare" seems very interesting character... He has something to do with Marvel universe I am sure but I have never seen him before... Do you have any info to say about him?

Yeah Blackjack is one of the original Halfworlders. He started as Rockets foe, kidnapping Lylla, but eventually was redeemed when he helped save Rocket and protect Halfworld. He was also Lyllas husband in the comics to follow

Nowadays he’s back to being a minor antagonist to Rocket, being his competition during a race in the new Rocket and Groot short. There’s a lot of history Im too lazy to go into right now xD

Back when gotgvol1 came out he was pretty much an invisible character no one knew a damn thing about, including myself at first. @black-jack-o-hare really brought the character to life and made him waaay popular on tumblr. Now Jacks got a pretty nice well of content, fanart and fanfiction etc.

Rocket/Blackjack

This was my bread and butter back in the day, I swear I’ve written so much for them I could sell novels with the RPS me and @black-jack-o-hare wrote.Good times, golden years of Tumblr tbh, those were some of the best writings I think I’ve done. the pair was never boring, they could be in the most mundane situation and still hold my interest.

There personalities were so conflicting and chaotic that there was never a dull moment. I loved any sort of dynamic between them, friends, lovers, frenemies, enemies, rivals.

A lot of it was having an amazing rp partner, but there is definitely a soft spot there for the ship I don’t think will ever fade. It’s always in the back of my mind.
