AN OPEN LETTER to THE PRESIDENT & U.S. CONGRESS; STATE GOVERNORS & LEGISLATURES
Demanding Action: Stop the Assault on Transgender Rights!!
6 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!
I am writing urgently to address the alarming rise in anti-transgender legislation across our nation. Recent developments, such as the high-risk classification of Idaho for adults & Wyoming for youth due to a transgender care ban, demand immediate attention. The urgency of this matter cannot be overstated. As your constituent, I am terrified by the discriminatory bills prohibiting gender-affirming care & bathroom bans sweeping our states impacting my rights. These laws directly threaten the rights & dignity of transgender Americans, impacting individuals of all ages, especially cisgender youth, adults, women of color, & intersex persons.
A recent article by Erin Reed highlighted the insurmountable & still-rising risks faced by transgender Americans due to legislative actions in various states, particularly impacting cisgender youth, adults, women of color, & intersex persons. This onslaught of discriminatory laws, as outlined in Erin's updates, poses a direct threat to the rights & dignity of every transgender American, past, present, & future.
It is deeply troubling to witness states like Idaho escalating to a "high risk" level by passing bills that prohibit gender-affirming care for individuals of all ages. Similar trends across the nation, including bathroom bans & restrictions on identity documentation, create hostile environments that undermine the fundamental rights of transgender individuals to exist authentically & safely. Additionally, proposals like those in Alaska, which expose disadvantaged students to invasive scrutiny & domestic dangers, further exacerbate the urgency of this issue. Our transgender siblings in states like Florida also face immense challenges & danger due to discriminatory legislation by the ‘Sundown State,’ meaning ‘Do Not Travel.’
As a nation that values equality & justice for all, we cannot remain silent in the face of such discriminatory legislation. These laws not only perpetuate stigma & discrimination but also pose a grave threat to the well-being & dignity of all American demographics.
The respected Union Soldier Pvt. Albert D. J. Cashier should be honored for his service to our country, & it is shameful that our society refuses to recognize & affirm his value, sacrifice & American Rights. Any elected official who supports the bad-faith war on transgender Americans should be ashamed & embarrassed to champion & enforce unequal division rights.
I urge you to take a bold stand against any & all anti-transgender legislation & to introduce & support measures that uphold the rights & dignity of all Americans, regardless of their gender identity. Our elected officials have a responsibility to champion policies that promote inclusivity, respect, & equal rights for all Americans in our communities & across the nation, to include all our transgender, non-binary, gender-non-conforming, intersex, or cisgender Americans, regardless of their genital configuration or reproductive potential.

REDS! Let The Silly People Be Clowns! Protect the American Right to Free Speech!

Recent court rulings in Indiana, Tennessee, and West Virginia have underscored the importance of upholding the rights of transgender Americans. The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Indiana ruled against misgendering in schools, while a federal judge in Tennessee blocked a drag ban, citing likely unconstitutionality. The Supreme Court declined to reinstate a sports ban in West Virginia, allowing a young transgender athlete to continue participating. Both of these rulings do miracles in protect cisgender and transgender students alike from discrimination, bullying, invasive scrutiny, and sexual assault.
These victories are a testament to the power of the judiciary in safeguarding the rights of marginalized communities. It is crucial to uphold the American right to free speech, which includes the art and performance of drag. Drag is not inherently sexual or inappropriate; it is a form of expression deserving protection. Therefore, it is requested that all bans on drag be dismissed, in line with the spirit of these recent court victories.
Protect the American Right to Free Speech! Drag as an art form and performance is not inherently sexual and should be recognized as protected speech. Let us dismiss all bans on drag and protect the American right to expression. Many of us, including you and your peers, have engaged in light-hearted instances of cross-dressing, emphasizing the playful nature of this expression. For the sake of our constitutional values, let us embrace diversity and respect for all forms of self-expression.
For all that our constitution is worth, let the silly people be clowns!

I am writing to you again to share the inspiring news of recent court victories in Indiana, Tennessee, and West Virginia that underscore the importance of upholding the rights of transgender Americans and protecting free speech, including the art and performance of drag.
The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Indiana ruled against misgendering in schools, recognizing the harmful impact on transgender students. In Tennessee, a federal judge blocked a drag ban, citing likely unconstitutionality and defending the right to artistic expression. Additionally, the Supreme Court's decision not to reinstate a sports ban in West Virginia ensures that a young transgender athlete can continue participating. Both of these rulings do miracles in protect cisgender and transgender students alike from discrimination, bullying, and invasive scrutiny.
These rulings are a testament to the judiciary's power in safeguarding the rights of marginalized communities. Drag, as an art form, is not inherently sexual or inappropriate—it is a valid form of self-expression deserving of protection under the American right to free speech.
In light of these victories, I urge you to support the dismissal of all bans on drag and to stand firm in defending our constitutional values. As a meaningful gesture of support for freedom of expression, I encourage you and your peers to wear lavender, a color associated with drag in LGBTQ+ history, especially during transgender holidays (March 31 & Nov 28) and Pride events in June.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter. Let us continue to embrace diversity and respect all forms of self-expression in our society.

Minnesota’s state constitution protects abortion rights
Gov. Tim Walz signed an executive order Saturday that he said will offer legal protection to people from out of state who come to Minnesota for reproductive health services.
*parental notification is required but can be bypassed in the courts *24 hour waiting period
Walz said during a news conference that the order is in response to the Dobbs ruling and laws or potential laws in other states that would allow people to be prosecuted for helping those seeking an abortion.
“An absolutely dystopian thing that needs to be stated is, [the order] states that we will use all legal authority of this office to not extradite people who are charged under other states' laws that criminalize providing, seeking, or obtaining reproductive health care services,” Walz said.
The order also prohibits Minnesota state agencies from helping other states investigate or prosecute people who seek reproductive health care that's legal in Minnesota.
States around Minnesota where you cannot access abortion,South Dakota, Wisconsin, Nebraska and soon North Dakota. Michigan is legal but severely restricted.

I truly, TRULY do not know how to say this, because the fact that I have to say it makes me feel like I am losing my grip on reality. But no, in the post-capitalistic anarchist utopia, I will not be relying on “autistic minecraft girlies” to be building inspectors because - and this may shock you - one of those occupations takes years of education in how to read and interpret hundreds of thousands of lines of regulations based on complicated math and physics that were the result of decades of tragedy and death, and the other one involves playing a children’s video game.

thinking about mizu from blue eye samurai. thinking. thinking so much. thinking about how mizu operates outside of gender. like we joke about her gender being revenge but straight up? it literally is. like she grew up as a boy and is most comfortable being a man, but behind that is the feeling of betraying himself because he isn't being honest about who he is and he lives in fear of being discovered. and when he lived as a woman, she found joy there as well. she fell in love, and though she wasn't good at it, she liked being a wife and enjoying a simple life. but in that life too, she isn't being honest about who she is. and when she reveals her true self, it's not a woman, she's a demon, a weapon. she's to masculine to be a woman, and too feminine to be a man. ultimately, mizu is most comfortable when they are being a murder machine. that's when they feel they are being the most true to themself. like a sword, they are neither man nor woman, but a blend of both, which makes them stronger.

By the way, even if you fully plan to vote for Biden in November (because Trump would be worse and has declared that if elected he would ban Palestinians from entering the US x, x, x, x)...
You can and I would argue should call or email Biden or whatever other Democrats represent you and just straight up lie about it. Tell them "I'm a constituent, and I've voted for you in x number of elections, and thanks to your support for the genocide of the Palestinian people, I will never, ever vote for you again."
Politicians, Democrats, and especially Biden need a fire lit under their asses, because the vast majority of them clearly aren't going to do shit without one. Or, worse, be like Biden and actively be the reason that Israel can continue its genocide on a political, monetary, and military level.
Tell Biden and other politicians that you will never vote for them again. It doesn't matter if it's true. It will help pressure US politicians to stop this genocide, and therefore it's the right thing to do.
Obviously this also applies to other countries where politicians are supporting Israel's genocide, especially countries that have cut funding to UNRWA (list here).

Is AZ Blue or Red?
People always wonder why I say Arizona was Purple and has gone Blue. Well, let me explain why! Pew Research did a study on the nation that showed the stats for 2018. It shows 38% describe themselves as independents, while 31% are Democrats and 26% call themselves Republicans. 17% of those are Democratic-leaning independents, while 13% lean toward the Republican Party. Just 7% of Americans…

Hands down one of my worst experiences in high school was when the seniors decided to extort the entire school by using tactics that were banned by the UN to get them to pay for the senior party! If that sounds like a wild sentiment stay tuned because this shit got crazy.
I was living in Arizona at the time and I was a freshman. Our campus was largely open air, with walks between class room buildings and some covered outdoor tables. Our event began with a morning announcement. The seniors were collecting donations for the senior party, and when they reached their goal, their fundraising method would stop.
Their fundraising method:
To pipe the entire schools speakers with "If You're Happy and You Know It" on loop. To this day, I cannot hear this song without experiencing a degree of rage and madness that is frankly alarming. One of the worst parts of the entire thing was that the recording they chose had the female singer do a little clap and say "Yay-ha-hey," at the end. So it wasn't just the song, it was this awful little cooldown stinger at the end.
If this sounds a lot like psychological torture you'd be extremely correct! This practice has been banned in some countries, but the good old US hasn't ruled it a human rights violation, and what a fun silly way to raise money, that definitely wasn't damaging to adolescent psyches!
Every morning for 15 minutes before school began, every passing period, every lunch, and after school for another 15 minutes they blasted that fucking song on unceasing repeat through every speaker in the school. Everyone found different ways of coping with this and mine was to observe my classmates descent into madness and categorize the stages.
The first stage was almost completely consistent, and it was a smug almost exasperated eye rolling phase. Often accompanied by derisive comments about the song or the tactic, this phase was extremely mildly annoyed. Most people figured it would blow over soon, and no one anticipated this continuing for a week and a half, creating a miasma of fraught tension.
The second phase was elevated annoyance, starting to snap and be less amused characterized this level of irritation. People would try to cover their ears or put on headphones, humming aggressively to block out the syrupy repulsive children's performer with her loathsome little clap. This phase had people picking their absolute least favorite part of the song. Her inflection on certain words, her timing between verses. I think it's pretty clear already which part I hated most.
The next phase was a bounce back out to absurdity. It became funny how annoying it was and people would sing along as if to challenge the song's authority over their psyche. This paired exceptionally poorly with people in phase two as they'd often lash out at the people giving more voice to their hell.
The fourth phase was a dead-eyed madness. People would stare straight ahead and their lips would silently mouth the familiar words. The song had pounded its way into their very soul and was inextricably linked to auditory output. They often didn't even realize if they began chanting along.
The fifth and final phase was pure uncut pubescent rage. Kids would scream, attack each other, and in a truly epic end to the event hurl a cafeteria chair with such force at the speaker in the cafeteria to irreparably damage the sound system.
The seniors got funding for a party, but some of it had to go to repair the damages, which were substantial.
