Hello, space cadets and everything in between ✨! Grace is the name, and I'm here to share some snippets of my undergraduate life. It's been awhile since I've step foot on tumblr. I've been a part of the study community since the moment earth was created (like, 8 to 9-ish years ago?). Nothing much has changed - lots of aesthetic photos of desks, IPads, notes, and books! I love how the study community is still thriving up to now.

Why a Study Blog

Took a little too many on to my plate and keep getting side tracked by all the other things I want to learn (one word:YouTube)

Not an organised person by nature; my mess is literary just mess

1. Do you enjoy the act of studying/learning (even if there is no school/it’s not required)?

If it’s a topic that truly interests me, I really enjoy studying it but when it’s things like idk mechanics I’ve basically no motivation to study and it’s kind of a drag...

2. If you had a chance to live in a fictional world, what world would it be (it can be from an anime, movie, game, or book!) and why?

I’d want to live in the avatar universe ngl Sometimes you just gotta bend that rock you know what I mean? On a serious note, I really find the dynamics of that world really interesting and you can bend elements, how cool is that?

3. What’s your favorite article/s of clothing that you own?

I really enjoy my shoe collection, I don’t generally spend that much money on clothes and don’t have the tendency to follow the trends, I buy at max 5 pieces a year, sometimes less but my shoes, now they’re my precious ones

4. Have you ever confessed to someone? and how did it go?

Okay, fun fact, I don’t really get embarrassed about confessing or just admitting my feelings so I always confess to my actual crushes fjfjf Sometimes they go well, sometimes I just get turned down kindly, sometimes they kind of get embarrassed but it’s all chill

5. What book do you want to have a movie made?

I want to see the ACOTAR series but I don’t want it to be made into a movie but an actual tv series with each book made into a season

6. Fictional character that you’re crushing on

Right now hmmm, I guess my childhood crush on Zuko got revived bc I recently rewatched Avatar with my brother than we went onto Korra’s series and Asami is pretty cool ngl. Also Gilbert from Anne with an E

So I crushed on Obi Wan hard, also apparently I crushed on Flora from Wings too...

8. What tv series/book are you currently entertaining yourself with ? And how is it for you?

I’ve been reading all the books I find in my aunt’s library so that has been as for shows, I’ve recently watched Snowpiercer and now started to watch King Eternal Monarch (ngl I always loved Woo Dohwan so I had actual motivation to start)

9. What type of aesthetic do you adore and want to have, and what’s you actual aesthetic in real life.

I want to have a neat artsy aesthetic with some plant mom vibes but my actual aesthetic is of a gremlin that comes out of their room to water their plants and just rolls around

10. Something that disappointed you so much (book, movie, western tv series, kdrama, music)?

The ending of Crash Landing on You... I am still heartbroken

Hii @musicalkeys! Yes! Here are some random tips for starting,

◾️ Making an intro post is so important. It not only helps you discover other studyblrs but it also helps others to find you too. And people can get to know you through this post. Tagging your fave studyblrs is the main point(they reblog your post and then through that more studyblrs can find you).

◽ When it comes to taking photos, you have to find a place with good lighting. Sunlight is more than enough and then you can do some editing to adjust the brightness and other stuff (Snapseed is my preference when it comes to editing photos or even your default phone editing options are also good).

Here are some examples of intro posts (you can search up 'studyblr intro posts' here in tumblr for more)

️◾ Interaction gradually begins once you post your intro post and tag studyblrs in your posts. If not, you can yourself reach out to the studyblrs you want to know. But once you start your studyblr, you start getting recs.

️◽ Using appropriate #tags in your post is another way to grow your studyblr and interact with other studyblrs.

◾ Finally, for the supplies, I think it doesn't matter what you use. I started with what I had and I don't think 'stationery' defines your studyblr🙂

I use Talk To Me In Korean, I Googled around for some textbooks (My Korean, Korean In Grammar). There’s also How to Learn Korean and Korean From Zero websites that you can use.

unrelated caption: Today, I made a database of Korean Vocabulary on Notion. They’re categorized into Nouns and Verbs (Action/Descriptive) then into sub-categories like countries, food, drinks... It’s a tiring task but it’s going to be worth it in the future ! Anyways, I enrolled in another online course (surprise) by Tesda. The modules are long, not kidding, and they’re a lot.

Remember, you don’t have to be productive all the time especially during this pandemic we’re experiencing. Safety and survival comes first. Please take care of you health (physical and mental health).

Today I finished the book ‘Wilder Girls’. It’s a suspense/LGBTQ+ novel. I personally didn’t like the book as much as I wanted to because I prefer writing styles that are similar to Montgomery, Murakami, or Tolkien fml. Tbh, I only picked up this book because the cover looked aesthetic lmao... But I am looking forward to the next book :) I do recommend it a lot, ngl.

This was shot before the pandemic started.

I love the ambiance and the location of El Union Coffee, albeit 2 hours away from my city. Their baristas were friendly (and fun!), and their crafts are delicious +++ they support the LGBTQIA+ community.

On the other note, I miss going out and chilling at cafes. Whenever I’d feel down and need alone time, I’d always go to a cafe with my books and music. There were times that I’d skip school just to go to cafes (alone and with my friends) lol ! Don’t worry, my grades didn’t suffer ( ◞･౪･)

Hello everyone ! Sorry for not posting new content the past few days. I was too immersed with doing my hobbies and studying and I haven't got the willpower to take pictures with my camera since I don't have a phone (Its such a hassle to keep on connecting my cam to my laptop lol).

I started a new digital planner just yesterday, and I think it's really cute ! This few weeks, I've been joining webinars and doing online courses. They're fun but can be quite draining especially when they go on for hours and hours ╥﹏╥ ++ I did 235 anki cards yesterday, that's the highest Ive done since using Anki (۶•̀ᴗ•́)۶ Anyways, I hope you enjoy my digital spreads. Ill be posting more in the future ♡
