satori thinks he could be a cannibal. not just about the person he loves, but anyone. he has this obnoxious, clawing desire to consume, this proclivity to violence out of hunger. it makes his teeth ache like he has a sweet tooth. it’s a dull throb in his molars at the back of his mouth, in the back corner of his jaw. like need so strong he can’t push it away. 

he craves closeness, the kind that makes you one person. satori wants to know your thoughts, he wants to be a part of your body. if he could, he’d cut open your ribcage and live inside of it. he wants the mess of it. he wants you to bleed and to smear it on his skin like a salve. 

satori knows his predisposition to this type of obsession is deplorable at best, an abomination at worst, but he can’t resist the thought. he needs it more than others. he hungers more than others for something they can never give, for the satisfaction of living like a parasite in the chest of the person he loves, to know everything about you and more. the impulse to consume is too strong for satori to ignore. his defect, his predisposition to this romantic violence which he considers bliss, is something he carries with him like thirst. 

it’s like the back of his throat is always dry. it’s a metaphorical hunger pain that makes him clench his jaw. the hunger of not knowing, of not being close enough, of not connecting the way he needs to. this longing in him, for affection, for obsession, for total and complete devotion, has always been untended to. the craving for intimacy lives in him like something alive, like something he can feel. he hungers while eating, thirsts while drinking. it starves him.
