Reminder of a Starline themed BumbleKast Q&A where Ian Flynn as Starline talks about what he would have done with Sonic and Tails bodies after the events of Issue 50: [ Tw! Child Death + Taxidermy ]

Starline is such a genuinely terrifying character (who I miss everyday ahh) and his disregard for children and his willingness to mentally and physically manipulate them for his own evil purposes (especially in the context of this answer) is genuinely chilling. It’s something I think even Eggman would be semi disturbed by which is saying a lot.

The idea of him using Sonic and Tails preserved bodies as trophies and as an example to others is so insanely horrifying, and the “well then I’ll just have to start a gallery won’t I!” in response to the idea of other hero’s trying to rise up against him somehow finds a way to make it extra disturbing. The mental image of Amy, Knuckles and all their other friends seeing what Starline has done to the brothers… to their family 💔

The thought of Surge and Kit having a constant physical reminder of what they’ve done… that while Sonic and Tails may be out the way, the two unwilling doppelgangers will forever be in their shadow, unable to truly fill the roles they were forced into and the bond the brothers had. Them getting everything they thought they wanted, yet still feeling empty inside.

Long story short: Ian Flynn did not need to go this crazy with this answer but gosh am I glad he did.

sonic and silver both swear like troopers. sonic is like jesse pinkman in the sense that swearing is a vital part of his language and practically inseperable. he tries not to swear around tails, but occasionally the odd 'fuck' slips out.

Ah it's that time of year again, when I let the dog out before bed and hear a loud yip of terror and find him frozen in fright.

The time of the oh so scary hedgehogs looking for a place to hibernate.

Gave the little thing a handful of dog food for it's journey and a quick once over, looks healthy if a touch small. Will set-up the hedgehog house tomorrow for the winter now I know I have some residents nearby.

When I first started reading warriors I Honestly thought Shadowclan territory was a peat bog, so when they moved to the lake I was like...Twany why are you saying these pines are good for shadowclan??

Pines are AWFUL for territory I'm dead serious, everything I read about pine forests stops short of calling them Mammal Hell

The branches work well for birds and arboreal insects, but the pine needles and lack of sunlight makes ground cover extremely scarce. Very few ground bugs are adapted to deal with it, ESPECIALLY IN ENGLAND where there is ONE native pine!! The SCOTCH PINE.

The pine tree with most coverage in England is the imported Sitka Spruce, accounting for over 50% of commercial forest cover, and it's AWFUL for English wildlife. PISS poor. Why's it planted? JUST for wood. The majority of English species are evolved for deciduous trees.

Living near these things would be the 4th ring of hell for Clan cats

So less ground bugs and low-laying forage means the prey has to go up in the trees to survive, and the cats would follow to hunt squirrels and birds... that thing SkyClan is known for.

Tawny should have seen those pine trees and said, "Oh so we're gonna get saddled with the worst patch of dirt this puddle has to offer, ay?"

That's why I approach ShadowClan much more like a swamp :/ For one it makes logical sense to not have two SkyClans. For two wetlands are an underappreciated biome. For three they act like they live on swampy ground anyway, by implying it's cold and muddy all the time.
