Braunschweig
Braunschweig, das auf Englisch “Brunswick” heißt, ist eine Stadt in Niedersachsen. Es legt am Fluss Oker und nördlich des Harzes, und hat zweihundertfunfzigtausend Leute. Braunschweig ist eine sehr historische Stadt und war die Hauptstadt vom Fürstentum Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, vom Herzogtum Braunschweig, und vom Friestaat Braunschweig. Heute ist die Stadt eine wichtige Zentrum für Wissenschaft und Forschung - zum Beispiel ist die Technische Universität Braunschweig die älteste Technische Universität in Deutschland. Der Burgplatz, der Altstadtmarkt und das Magniviertel sind historische und kulturelle Sehenswürdigkeiten, und der Braunschweiger Löwe ist das Symbol von der Stadt. Das originale Denkmal steht vor der Burg Dankwarderobe, und eine Reproduktion steht vor dem Braunschweiger Dom.
