It's natural that work bleeds into their personal life. It does for everyone, but it goes double for them since they work together, and what they do is for a living is put themselves in danger.

They had a particularly bad call today, a lot of black tags, and for a moment it looked like Buck might be one of them. He was okay, in the end, not even a scratch on him, but the not knowing, the pure panic Eddie experienced was nothing new, but still exhausting.

Buck moved into Eddie's house two months ago, they've been dating for over a year, and have sex a lot. But it's always this kind, the kind after a day like today that undoes something in them.

Eddie is moving very slowly, taking his time with the slide of his body, dragging out soft pants and moans from Buck as he fucks him. It's unhurried, gentle, they've been at it for a long time already. It's a sweet press of lips, Buck whispering i love you, i love you, in his ear, Eddie looking down at him in worship.

Eddie never knew love could be so gentle.

His face is tucked by Buck's neck, their bodies so close that they don't know whose sweat belongs to who, Buck's hands moving along Eddie's back, Eddie's arms encircled around Buck. Buck is warm, and being inside him is so fucking deliriously pleasurable, and listening to him is better than any song Eddie has ever heard in his life.

He doesn't know where the panic comes from.

Everything is fine, but as the pressure starts to build in Eddie's gut, and he feels like he could finish. But as it builds, and as Eddie starts to move quicker, his breathing picks up at a pace that is not quite right - and once that happens, his body starts to shake, his eyes fill with tears, and Buck knows him, knows the signs, and immediately tightens his hold on Eddie.

"Wait," Buck breathes. "Eddie, stop a second."

Eddie listens, he will always listen. He stops and then feels Buck's lips by the side of his head, right over his ear. "Hey," Buck whispers. "Look at me."

Eddie does, but he's careful about it - he refuses to let a tear fall. "I'm sorry, I-"

"Eddie," Buck smiles softly at him, tenderly, looking at him with all the love in the world. "I'm right here with you, okay? I'm not going anywhere. See?" He takes Eddie's hand and puts it on his favourite place - the nape of his neck, his thumb pressed against Buck's pulse. "I'm right here."

Eddie chokes on a whimper, leaning down so their foreheads are touching. "Today was..."

"I know." Buck whispers. "I got you Eddie, it's okay." He kisses him lovingly. "Eyes on me, okay?"

Eddie nods, and now, as he continues to make love to him, to pick up his speed, he allows himself to let himself be vulnerable. Buck knows him, knows him better than anyone. So he lets his eyes release the tears so his body can stop shaking, he lets pleasure overwhelm him, he lets Buck kiss him and look deeply into his eyes, taking apart everything inside of him.

He finds his release inside of the love of his life, and with a few tugs at his own erection, Buck sighs in relief at his own release, pulling Eddie down for a tight hug.

Eddie's tears have stained a bit of Buck's skin, and now, in the afterglow in their release, they come even quicker. "Never leave me." he kisses Buck's shoulder.

"Never." Buck agrees. "You're stuck with me forever, Eddie."

Honestly? Eddie couldn't think of anything better than that.

Here’s the thing, as excited as I am for tomorrows episode and as much as I want Buddie to happen (and at this current moment, I fully think it will) it is NOT going to happen in the next episode, and it SHOULDNT!

Hear me out: if buddie truly is where this story is going then they are Not going to spend 6 years building to a story they tell in two episodes! It would be so rushed and, for the general audience, out of nowhere!

We have seen the hints and build up for buddie since the very beginning, but for a good portion of the GA even Bi Buck came as a shock, and to throw in Eddie and then Buddie ontop of it will further the idea they have that the show is pandering to audience. They need to see the story for themselves!

Bi Buck is just the first piece of a very complicated but beautiful puzzle and we get to watch how how they piece it together and it may not be fast! And personally I don’t think it should be!! These men have been dancing around each other and their feeling for 6 years, they have become so secure and attached in their friendship that even if one or both of them Had realized their feelings before they never would have acted on it for fear of ruining the closest relationship either of them have, so for now the idea of them together isn’t even a possibility either could imagine, and it’s not something they are gonna be able to realize and Act On in 2 episodes! And that’s okay!!! By taking the time to build to them it is cementing that this is different, this is not their tendency to jump into and out of relationships on whims, this is something that will last, something they have both been searching for and building for years and they’re finally getting to the point that they will both see that and be ready for that, and THAT my friends, is a story worth waiting for!
