u+me "ume" au is a silly au where donnie somehow ends up in a yokai settlement in japan. do not ask how. i dont know yet. he meets bund (little goat boy in the bag) and bitsy, two curious locals, and they become friends.

unfortunately for donnie, technology isnt allowed in the village, and bitsy himself set up a mystic emp of sorts around the region that renders all tech useless, so theres no way for donnie to contact his family.

the settlement (ive yet to name it) is known for its umeboshi! its a pickled ume (japanese plum) and their variety is very unique. its mystic :) donnie discovers his love for gardening through this.
