I don't care if you're a souped up cyborg like Bushmaster.
Getting within arms reach of Captain America is a BAD call.

So there has been two Bushmasters, the one from the old Power Man books and the snake version from the Serpent Society... and this feels like someone was like “wait a tick... I think we can do something about this...”

NOTES
*Not all versions of this character are black.
3-D Man is a legacy hero who was a white male and his brother, doing a cosmic body swap routine (instead of the usual single person being both the civilian and the heroic alter ego). It was basically both brothers as one character. A younger black male Olympic track star, Delroy Garrett, Jr., joined the “Triune Understanding” cult in order to take his human skill potential to its absolute peak. But this group were actually pulling from the same cosmic power source as 3-D Man, for villainous purposes. Garrett was unwittingly channeling 3-D Man’s powers to become a hero called Triathlon. Eventually all three men were merged into one modern 3-D Man, before all three personalities in the gestalt person were freed into surviving individual people again, yielding their superpower in the process.

Diamondback and Paladin try to rescue Asp and Black Mamba. Unfortunately for them, they are lured into a trap as they get ambushed by King Cobra who poisons Diamondback with a shot. Paladin is forced to surrender when King Cobra blackmails him that she would get the antidote if he stops fighting. Then, the duo are tied up and are left with Asp and Black Mamba to be set up as bait for Captain America.

365 Marvel Villain paper cut-outs - one villain, every day, all year.
November 26th - Bushmaster II
The second villain to operate under the name of Bushmaster is Quincy McIver, the younger brother of John McIver, the original Bushmaster who battled Luke Cage. A petty criminal on an unspecified isle in the Caribbean Sea, Quincy was involved in a terrible boating accident that left him a quadruple amputee, losing both his arms and legs. Some time after this accident, Quincy was approached by representatives of a subsidiary of The Roxxan Oil Company. They offered to provide Quincy with bionic prosthetics in return for his services as a member of the Serpent Society. He agreed and Quincy was outfitted with a pair of powerful bionic arms complete with retractable blades, and a serpent-like tail in place of legs. Quincy took on the name of Bushmaster as a homage to his fallen older brother and has been a longstanding member of The Serpent Society. He first appeared in the pages of Captain America Vol. 1 #310.
