'I love...' Damian Wayne x Reader (Reader Centric)
Reader is so tired of what people say about their babe, so they give their two cents
femelle reader/ she her used, about 800 words, enjoy lovelies
You're being "interviewed" by The Gotham Gazette.
(They caught you by surprise out in public and your ride was a few, darn steps out of reach)
Everybody wants the inside scoop of how you fell in love with Gotham's new young prince. There are many questions and rumors as to how Damian managed to get such a sweet thing as you. They flood your senses and any escape routes are blocked off.
"Were you paid?"
Cameras flash directly into your eyes.
"Were you forced?"
Microphones are shoved in your face.
"Were you paid then forced? Blink now if you need help!"
The rumors turned into accusations and it was getting out of hand. It was very hurtful to Damian to see how the media thought of him and his family. Contrary to how the public may think, he does indeed have feelings. He would never think of all the horrible crimes that sprawl across newspapers, article titles, and televisions. He fights people who actually commit them every night! It all gets to his head and he pushes people away. In these moments he rarely makes eye contact with his beloved, thinking she is here not for his love but because she feels like she has no other options. It hurts him deeply.
You thought it was finally time to set the record straight.
Damian sits down in front of the TV and, against his better judgement, he tuned in to the latest shows to see what people were saying about him. He knows it's probably not good for his health, but he can't help himself. It's just going to be more talk show nonsense to fill runtime anyway.
That is, until he sees her.
his... beloved?
Talking about their relationship!
His heart begins pounding like a drum in his ears. He can barely believe it. He thought he was doing a good job. He thought he was treating her well, giving her everything a woman could ask for. It stung and then it sank that she would go to the MEDIA about their personal lives. He was already sifting through the dark assumptions about what this report would entail...
Reporter 1: "So Ms. Wayne- Can I call you Ms. Wayne? Is it official yet? Anything you want to share with us?"
Y/N: "Not yet! Sorry to keep anyone in the deep end but you'll have to wait for an official announcement for that."
Reporter 1: "SHARP! I like you! Okay moving on, so- I'm sure you're already aware of the *ahem* opinions regarding your relationship. Do you mind telling us about that?"
Y/N: "Yes of course. I cannot speak on behalf of my partner, but it is very cruel what people are saying about him. I understand that not everybody gets to spend time with him the way I do, but I think the world would be a better place if we could all be more kind to each other-"
Reporter 1: "Great, great, but what do you actually SEE in him? Multiple reports have all correlated to him having a very   for lack of a better term   -strong- personality. Can you please, for the audience of course, tell us what attracted you to Damian?"
You dig deep into your history with Damian and let it flow naturally. You speak from the heart and let your true emotions shine. Any fault and the media would go notice and into a frenzy and you're here to clear up the misconceptions, not make them.
Some silence, then a deep breath. Your face rises the same way he is used to seeing every time he comes home.
For a moment, seeing your face like that, his anxiety is *almost* gone.
Y/N: "He impresses me everyday. I see the man who loves me, his family, and Gotham more than any other. He amazes me with his intellect and skill. He carries Wayne Industries into better and better times. He holds conferences for the improvement of his city. He educates and works for the community. Then he comes back from that to come to me, and I see a man. A man with his entire heart poured out. I love speaking to this man. He, of course, always says exactly what he thinks. I never had to worry about whether he truly loved me or not! How many men can you say that about these days? Some may think it's harsh, but I wouldn't want him any other way."
You dig a little bit deeper.
"But most of all, he is not afraid of improvement. Damian, in my eyes, is a selfless man who works hard to be the best he can be. There is no other person I would rather have by my side."
And while every reporter, cameraman, and poor intern that was dragged into this is busy finding their jaws on the ground.    You make your escape.

I AM BANGING MY HEAD AGAINST THE FUCKING WALL AND ABOUT TO CRY I'M SO FUCKING MAD I HATE ZKS I HATE ZKS I HATE ZKS
okay, now that THAT is out of the way. I hate how zutarians treat Jet. I get aang, as he is katara's canon love interest and the one she ultimately ends up with. Naturally, this would screw with zks' delusions so, yeah, I can see where the hate is coming from, I understand (though by no means do I endorse it)
BUT JET??? WTF DID HE DO?? He was never a "threat" to zk, because katara ditched the barely a day long crush on him the second she learned about his plan. Was it the fact that he (rightfully!!!) calls out iroh and zuko and is antagonistic of them for not just being fn, but for straight up being fucking ROYALS, WHOSE DIRECT ANCESTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WAR IN THE FIRST PLACE??
It doesn't matter to zks that jetara was obviously never going to be canon. It doesn't matter to zks that jet's anger is justified. It doesn't matter that jet is probably one of the most tragic characters in the whole fucking franchise, who suffers greatly from war, becomes severely traumatized, loses pretty much everything and on top of that has an "honour" to be one of the few characters who DIES ON SCREEN. It doesn't matter to zks that he's just like katara, sokka and aang - a child permanently scarred by the war.
None of this matters!! He's now a sexist (wut) prick who downplays katara's achievements, toxic, cheats on her (wut) and in some cases just straight up abusive. Basically completely takes over what is usually aang's ""role"" in zks' fewer dreams as katara's abusive ex whom zuko saves her from.
WITH MY WHOLE FUCKING HEART - FUCK ZKS. It's one thing if it's projection and something like that for the sake of smut or whatever. I'm proship, I don't give a flying fuck about 99% of the stuff I see. But this is just a disrespect to Jet's whole character. Why can't they just make up a whole new faceless dude for the role of an abusive ex? Why does it have to be one of the characters, especially ones who were never interested in katara to begin with?!?!
1 - Jet has a lot in common with Zuko, but he is still obviously not the same as Zuko - yet Katara had feelings for him, and not for the fandom's favorite moody boy (and she had WAAAAAY better chemistry with Jet than she ever did with Zuko). Can't have that.
2 - Jet HATES the Fire Nation, which is completely fair (even if his actions in his introduction episode were attrocious). And this fandom, for whatever reason, LOVES to pretend "The Fire Nation totally had a bit of a point" and "Sozin was not an evil man, he just wanted to help people, please forget that he chose to use the comet to wipe out an entire race from the face of the Earth." Jet was always going to be controversial because the fandom would take his (incorrect) way of dealing with his trauma as proof he was 100% pure, while excuse Fire Nation characters that did bad things but had a heart/tragic backstory. Double-standards at it's finest.
3 - He antagonized Iroh and Zuko, two fan favorites. This is, apparently, the worst crime one can commit. As an Azula fan, I should know.
4 - The show was not always fair to Jet either. While they redeemed and KILLED him and the Gaang was clearly upset, the only time he is ever brought up again (without it being a joke) was in the Southern Raiders, and it only mentions the awful behavior he came to regret - not his change of heart. Sure, it was not an innacurate comparison at the moment, but it's unfair that the dude DIED to prove he had changed but is never remembered for anything other than his worst action.
5 - Bryke, unfairly, said anyone who ships Zutara is doomed to have awful, failed relationships for liking such a "dark" ship. They did not like that, and thus double-down on making anyone that had any involvement with Katara be the literal devil in their fics. Unlike Aang, Jet actually DID manipulate Katara once and showed he could get violent towards people with no provocation, so they latch onto that to go "See? OUR ship is not the bad one, THIS is!" completely ignoring Jet's regret, growth, and redemption, as well as Katara's forgivenes.
Anyways, Jet isn't even among my favorite Avatar characters, but Jesus, does the fandom love to crucify that boy for things they'd absolutely forgive characters like Zuko and Iroh for.

My name is Bob, and I am almost certainly a VERY Gay man. My only lingering doubts on this are related to my gender identity, NOT my sexual orientation, and these thoughts stem from the main reason that I managed to delude myself into thinking that I was Bisexual for most of my adult life (I know that some men truly are Bi, it just took me FAR too long to realize that I am not one of those men). I have never enjoyed heterosexual intercourse. Only once in my life have I ever been able to climax that way, and only because I imagined that the woman I was fucking (a bitch who insisted on having sex with me with the lights out) was cheating on an imaginary boyfriend who (in my mind) caught us in the act and, instead of stopping us, told me to keep fucking his woman while he fucked my ass to keep me hard enough to finish inside her (THANKFULLY I had a condom on). It has always bothered me that I could not truly enjoy vaginal intercourse because I have, on multiple occasions, genuinely enjoyed eating pussy. Not because of the taste (I have NEVER liked that), but because I like giving people orgasms. Also because I did my research and I knew what I was doing with the few vaginas that I've gone down on, and I genuinely hoped that my mouth and tongue would never fail to give at least one orgasm to every woman I ever went down on when I was younger (Pussy Free since April 2008!!!).
It is a genuine crime against Humanity (committed by Nature itself) that Evolution made it so the female orgasm is never guaranteed, and I HATE such unfairness (biological or otherwise). On an unconscious level, I believe that this desire to see women ALWAYS get the orgasms that they deserve is what drew me to lesbian porn (which has ALWAYS made me cum MUCH harder than straight porn ever has, and straight porn only really works when I watch clips of videos that either feature blowjobs by women who genuinely enjoy sucking dick or anal sex featuring women who truly LOVE taking it in the ass, and even then these videos only work if I imagine myself as the woman). I know for a fact that I don't want to fuck a pussy ever again, because my little Gay dick is just shy of six inches and it will NEVER be up to the task of giving women the orgasms that they deserve, even if I actually did want to feel a vagina wrapped around my little Gay dick again (which I DON'T). But a part of me will still ALWAYS want to forget my homosexuality and ignore the bad taste of vaginas so I can give women the oral orgasms that they deserve, that FAR too few straight men are willing to put in the work to give to their women properly. If I'm being honest, willingly being able to give to women what too few straight ever care to is probably the only reason I truly enjoyed eating pussy at all. It was work, (something that no sex act should ever feel like), but it still felt oddly fulfilling... until I was expected to fuck the women I went down on and then could never "deliver" for either of us during that "main event." Sigh...
Lesbian porn helps me to rationalize my desire to give women orgasms that will never "agree" with my homosexuality. By imagining myself as a woman pleasing other women, the idea of eating pussy suddenly becomes Gay, and Gay sex stuff is something that I can quite easily get behind. This has also led me to wonder about my gender identity. If imagining myself as a woman pleasing other women gets me off as hard as it does, then maybe I am actually a Transgender woman and not a Gay man. I'm also incredibly turned on by the idea of crossdressing before having Gay male sex, so maybe, if I AM a Trans woman, I wouldn't even be Gay at all. Maybe I was right to call myself Bi all along and I just got my gender identity wrong this whole time. Who honestly knows? I'm keeping my options open on that, but until I know for sure, and as long as my body remains distinctly male, I am 100 percent Gay until I am proven to be Trans. My mouth may not hate pussy as much as one would expect a Gay man's mouth to do so, but my penis certainly does. So, we'll see how things turn out...

American Psycho review
-
Alrighty*claps hands together* I watched this fucking movie. And I find it hilarious hilarious ppl really took what was in that movie and was like "yeah I'm him" genuinely wanting to be that guy. Shows a lot about our society today the "privilege" ppl like him get to have to even remotely even BE PATRICK BATEMAN. Uh I'm ngl I feel bad for the actor who plays him cause I hear it can be mentally taxing for a "regular" person to play a literal killer.
But aside from that, the movie everytime that nigga Patrick was on screen, genuinely terrified me. Scared the living hell out of me. I'd say this movie could be a horror but um yeah. The fact he has these "identities" so much so that at the very end of the movie he's still just "dismissed" from the crimes he committed and that really made me think of "society"
How could this white rich straight man possibly be a killer he has everything. The fact Bateman BLATANTLY SAYS "YO I KILLED OVER 40 PPL" and the dude genuinely thought he was joking is insane to me. Again the ending just SCREAMS THE PRIVILEGE IN UR FACE. I kinda can't take the movie seriously but the fact men like that exist in real time is the most serious part of it all. (Also adding to the fact, ppl would often mistake who he was also showed how all of them(business bros) are so much the same, but they want to be seen as "different" I guess)
The fact the only person that (I guess) "genuinely" cared about Bateman was the white girl that was "so nice" and she "was the girl for him all along". The god damn receptionist. THE FACT HE FLAT OUT STOPPED HIMSELF FROM KILLING HER B/c who the fuck knows. I genuinely don't think it had anything to do with her being the receptionist maybe he just wanted to actually stop? But like who could tell. (Also she is technically I guess, the only person who finds how sick he is and is still alive. It was either branching off into "I can fix him" territory or she just looks at him differently) who can say.
And yeah, rip my girl Christie(funny u never know her actual name , I don't think) I knew she wasn't making it out alive but she had the right idea trying to leave.
(Sidenote: i genuinely couldn't tell the difference between the men and women on the screen they genuinely ALL looked alike. Aside from some features. So when they were talking about some bitch named Evelyn I was like "wasn't that the fiancé" but maybe he just found another girl that was named Evelyn lol. Or he wanted to kill his fiancé by proxy or something EDIT: actually the woman he killed was named Elizabeth)
Um the fact the men were just allowed to be actual dickheads and the women just smiled and waved. Like trophies hung up in a room , was very fitting. And also the idea of being this "perfect" person to fit in made me wonder why do alot of killers( and yes I know, narcissists, I just don't want to be like "all narcissists are killers") think they need to Be "perfect". With Bateman it made "sense" cause he's trying to "fit in" but all that effort he puts in didn't necessarily need to be done. I think he wanted to convince himself it mattered cause when u think about "societal norms" most of it is irrelevant. And or he could've been trying to fit in so hard b/c if he didn't he'd look like a neurodivergent ass nigga around a bunch of neurotypicals. And that couldn't go well especially when ur in "corporate". He walks around with headphones always on, he talks about his special interests(music) and he draws. Definitely sounds like he is on the spectrum.(lol I'm literally him, lookin ass)
Uh this movie made me physically sick and why they needed to add "American Psycho" again poking at America's culture(business culture and white ppl in general) AmeriKa , it's literally true (this movie could've also popularized the jerking off of serial killers as well. .. romanticizing a serial killer romanticizing mental illness. It's a lot and it's very sick) Sidenote Sidenote: Bateman had money he was rich back then shit was cheap as well so he could've easily bought services for help and kept it under wraps but he didn't want to, he wanted to kill those ppl b/c society told him it's ok to be a psychopath if ur rich white and a Man U CAN BE WHATEVRR U WANNA BE👍🏾😬
Edit edit: now that I think about it even more, I think he wanted to get caught so badly. B/c ig the most "interesting" thing this guy could ever say/do was that he killed ppl. He wanted to fit in so badly he never has a "real identity" nobody even knows who he was unless it was ppl that interacted with him daily(friends , receptionist) he was just another face. It's almost like he hated that about himself the most but he "couldn't figure it out"
The fact he's ALLOWED to have mental breakdowns, commit mass shootings, and then go back to his job the next day like nothing happened. It's just fucking classic. Do u know how many news reports there is of BLACK AUTISTIC PPL HAVING AN EPISODE AND THEY ARE JUST FLAT OUT KILLED? Way too many. There was one recently. Kid named Ryan Gainer 15 years old was killed.
It's incredibly cringe the way he's like "this is it for me"*swallows pills* and genuinely nobody gave a fuck lol. As in nobody cares cause he's a rich white dude, and "nobody cares" cause there's no empathy or sympathy when it comes to mental health. (Can tie in men's mental health but most of the shit they deal with is brought upon themselves)
This guy was a genuine nobody but also someone
Sick movie but ngl I did like analyzing it. Some parts of it made me genuinely cry b/c ppl like this have no morals. He's a person on the surface but on the inside he's sick and he's allowed to be. He's told he can be sick and it's acceptable.
(Side note side note side note: I'm not here to convince anyone of anything I'm simply sharing my thoughts and feelings. I'm not here to sugar coat or make u feel comfortable. If I made u uncomfortable at all then I did my job. If u want to stay a dumbass and be willfully ignorant I cannot stop u, but don't think u can comment or repost my shit and think I won't respond or just flat out block u. I have no energy for stupidity. I'm not privileged enough to be a fucking dumbass when all this shit is happening around me. Kindly leave my page and go on with ur life.)

Cucumber Day 5 Watching Con's Filmography
(I also listened to a short story he'd been in, scroll down a bit on my page and you'll find it. For everyone who watched this and needs a refresher only on Con, someone finally posted a compilation on youtube. If you haven't seen the series, you'll probably be lost. But I'm sure its a fun out of context watch)
Summary wrote after binging the entire series in one day.
Please, Please, Please go online and check every warning for this show. Not only for the graphic hate crime but see everything they warn about. Protect yourself. This review will discuss sexual topics, nudity, and substance abuse, and age gaps.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
So the show. I think it was fun, not the best tv show, and has some mixed messages, but a fun watch.
I grew up in a household/town where sex wasn't discussed. Especially queer shit. This show is very in-your-face about it and I admire the shit out of it. The friendships felt lived in. The experience of being a young queer 'hunted' by older queers was explored enough to not make Henry a complete hypocrite, sadly. But the focus was always more on Henry, even in the end, Henry still got off on the image of a 20 something during sex.
Fully noting, I did skip scenes. Some things were just a bit much for me, so I took the liberty to save peace and move on. Yet, the show does seem to balance heavy moments with joy and comedy. Hell, during a fucking funeral, some guys need to go check their dicks for hair. And you know what, I feel that if Lance were there, he wouldn't even be suprised.
I loved Freddy. Holy shit, at first, I was worried about how he'd be treated, but by the end, I was rooting for him. Obviously, the guy is just so used to being hunted for his body. This topic was brushed on with the teacher, and not really felt by the plot or the characters around him. I'm happy he felt like he could leave and just grow up as a person. I'm so happy they let the audience see a time jump where everyone turns up okay, and happy.
I'm not a queer man, but I know this shit can resonate. I've seen queer men online discuss these same points. Predatory age gaps, the pressure to be hot, aging, commitment, and communication issues in relationships...This isn't the best show for all that to be taken seriously but I'll leave that discussion to that community.
So Con's character, Cliff, was right about Henry in episode 1, and I fucking love when writers do this shit. "You always did that. Never had affairs, just obsessions." Cause in the context, yes, Henry never cheated. But he never has deep relationships; he has brief obsessions until things get too serious and he needs to move on. Hell, In episode 8, that's the conclusion Henry comes to himself. "Maybe one day I'll come to terms to it...being gay". Cause he wants intimacy but fears men and getting close to people. It's that closeness he struggles with.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The things that bugged me about the series
The entire bit about the boys playing chicken for internet attention. Again, I know this is a thing. But now a days we legitimately have children doing this stuff unknowingly for people online. Or parents unknowingly showing their children on tik tok for millions of people. I know people who were groomed, and avoided it like crazy growing up as a kid online. I cringed every time this plot point was mentioned, feeling like a kid was a second away from getting hurt. It just felt a bit much to touch on for me in this type of show. Again, they tried to have their cake and eat it too by showing Harry get a slap on the wrist, but it just didn't feel like it justified the plot line being there in the first place. Seriously, what did it add to the story besides showing Henry that maybe he should go back home? He could have done so many other things. The only funny bit is when Cliff commented how fucking weird straight people are sometimes.
Cliff says in ep 1 he had a history of going after older men when he was young, and the age gap is boggeling. Again, this could mean he only had a crush on him. But if we're going to bring up how wierd it was, then why is this and the teacher sub plot where minors brought up the only time its mentioned. Like yeah, the teacher-student situation was fucked up. How about the 30 and 40-year-olds going after people in their early 20s. "I'm horrified to discover I have standards." Fun line Cliff, yeah. But they are literally minors. Age gaps and taking advantage of younger queers is a real issue in the queer community. There should 100% be a place to talk about it. But when every 'likable' character does it without issue, then it's still a problem. Hell, this is why Freddy's plot felt so out of left field in ep 8 with Cliff and him fucking before running off. I don't know why he did it, knowing that Cliff wanted him for his body? Or maybe he just wanted comfort after that argument and knew he'd get it by having sex? I genuinely want to know other interpretations. If Freddy felt like this, it would have been more satisfying for Henry to learn his lesson and not use 20-year-old Freddy as wank material for the next 6/7 years. Also, Freddy running away from Cliff with his pants down was just funny.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, wash most of that out of your head!
The fun part that we have all been waiting for-
TALKING ABOUT CLIFF COSTELLO
(Yes, Cliff is kind of a douche early on. Enjoying eyeing Freddy and praising Henry for leaving his boyfriend for a 'young boy toy'. But, as the series goes, it dies down. Cliff, pre-episode 6 was a fun jackass. Post-ep 6 is one of the best characters in the show and the best friend you could ask for.)
I have seen most gifs online for this character. The soft outfits, smoking, suits, smiling. And fucking YET. The three scenes to me that make me love this character are-
"And obviously, I could take a statement. Have a briefcase with me, files and a pen. Because solicitors get searched entering a prison just like everyone else, but I'd still have a pen. Because a pen is all I'd need, really. I think it would take me a second to lean across and insert the pen through his throat. Right here. At the base. Straight through to the spine. (I could do that.) He'd bleed out in seconds. Dead. So... that's what I'll do. With your permission." I need Izzy to do this speech. Please god. In all your infinite wisdom. In this moment, I 100% felt that this lawyer would murder the murderer of his friend in sheer rage with a fucking pen.
Cliff pulling up(no crutches *curtsies with a smile*) to save Henry's ass from saying something stupid to the cops after their place gets ransacked. Stepping in and ensuring Freddy doesn't assault someone in front of cops.
"I look forward to the tribunal because the law is magnificent in this regard. It's not up to us to prove homophobia, it's up to you to prove homophobia does not exist. Best of luck. Thank you." AHHHHHHHH Smarmy, confident, smiling Con, I love it. Maybe the hottest thing Cliff does in this series, the outfit, the glaring before hand, the confidence, and AHHH.
His stand-out moments are when he's being a loyal, caring motherfucker. Trust me, after days of seeing a sad, depressed, miserable Con, seeing him thirsting after men was fun. Seeing him make dick jokes and act like an 'Elder Gay' that protected his own did heal my soul. But there was just a fucking genuine happiness he brought to the role.
I love that, even though he's a character Henry can rely on, Henry would never stay at his flat. (Obviously, cause then the plot wouldn't happen, but I like to think they know they'd both bring out the worst in each other).
Henry uses him for his knowledge of the law when doing cagey shit. It's great. Like getting his job back or doing the whole weird shit mentioned above for extra money. Seeing Cliff doing his best to stay semi-professional and not visibly judge the shit out of Henry for essentially being a soft core pimp is so fucking funny. Also, his 'that's our song' speech, where he goes on about how people steal underground culture, was fun.
The funeral made me respect Cliff, as he knew how to handle the situation. Keeping the situation safe enough in public so that Henry could have his own time to break down.
When Cliff didn't push, let Henry grieve on his own time, it was beautiful. Many of us would have immediately pushed that boundary. Trying to let ourselves feel better by stopping someone else from having destructive emotions. But Cliff knows better. Hell, when Henry is crying we see Cliff tearing up. Showing that Cliff knows to just step back tells us so much about how these two men care for each other.
Now a tiny praise corner about writing an Elder Gay lawyer character-
The sheer joy in Cliff knowing he could use the 'law' to protect queer people. Both for Lance and for getting Henry his job back. If Cliff is as old as Con, he'd have been a lawyer starting in the 1990's. He would have in practice during queer legalization post-thatcher in the UK. There's a good reason he seemed to be the happiest when they got home after getting his job back. He would have been taught Section 28 as a queer man.
'The fight for sexual equality however, was far from over. Section 28 of the Local Government Act 1988, introduced by the Conservative Government under Margaret Thatcher, banned local authorities from ‘promoting homosexuality’ or ‘pretended family relationships’, and prohibited councils from funding educational materials and projects perceived to 'promote homosexuality'. The legislation prevented the discussion of LGBT issues and stopped pupils getting the support they needed. Section 28 was repealed in 2003, and Prime Minister David Cameron apologised for the legislation in 2009.'
He went from learning about all that shit as a young lawyer(who fucking survived the AIDS crisis), plus worse, to using ANTI DISCRIMINATION LAW for LGBTQ people! (kinda) So yeah. There's a very good fucking reason why that scene made me pause and stim for the fucking life of me. He was the happiest one when they came home, belting and smiling! So much has changed over his life and AHHH-
(This just hurts knowing this defence is all still legal where I live. And rights are being stripped every day... But hope still exists...yatta yatta.)
The friendship between Cliff and Henry feel so lived in. Burrowed and nestled. Clearly, Cliff has his own sad law show going on in the background and Henry is where he can let his (glorious) hair down.
I think it's funny as shit that when Henry panics and tries to find someone in mind to keep him in the moment sometimes he accidentally imagines Cliff. In a 'I've heard way to much about my friends sex lives so I think I know what it looks like' kind of way.
I also think it's funny that in the two times we see him in time jump to the future (At the table toasting Freddy and in Bed) Cliff is still not entirely gray after 6-7 years (obviously, they didn't think/want to age him up or do makeup just for a gag). However, Icon behavior.
His outfits? I would wear most of them. He is gender and life envy. Again, I think Cliff could have been a character to show how happy some people are without relationships. We get this vibe from him with the whole 'you're not tied down' speech, and I wish that was a concept explored more on TV.
He's the least depressed lawyer character I have seen on TV. If I could be a Cliff Costello type, I would go into law.
I think a good mix of the best parts of Cliff Costello and all of Val Pearson is who I want to be as an 'elder'(again, I turn 21 in January). Confident, loyal, willing to stick up for others, funny as shit. Maybe has a more stable love life than them, and hopefully not any substance addictions, but god. They just have so much joy when you know these characters had to have lived through such shitty times for queer people.
At first, I did this just to explore Con's work. But I think this has all helped me feel some hope for the future. What people need is support and love and a place to exist.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall ratings
Cinematography: 7/10. Fun edits. Fun motifs. Loved the opening, and the sound effects to suggest certain things to the audience was fun.
Story: 6/10. Would be higher but some shit just got stuck in my craw. Again, the show just got better and better as it went and by the end I just felt satisfied. Would be an 8 ish if not for my issues mentioned above.
Characters besides Con: 7/10. Everyone plays really fun parts. Everyone is shitty in their own unique way, and for the most part, they get what they deserve. Even if they haven't really learned their lesson yet (Henry, I swear to god you are on a wire). Satisfying arcs for everyone besides Henry, but that's the point. I'm happy the Collective wheedled out into a more realistic ending where these people could go on and live happy lives and not coddle the man.
Con: 8/10. He is so much fun, and he is having so much fun. I wish he was in it longer, but in every scene, he is in, he eats it up. He goes from serious lawyer to best friend in a flash and it just makes me so happy. Cliff is up there with my favorite performances, some of his actions just kill the vibe a bit for me. Again. Any series where Con smiles is a win. Also, I love that he bodied a character who uses movement aids, and it just made me more excited to see what he'd do with Izzy for S2.
OVERALL: 6-7/10.
Not an easy recommend but could be a fun rewatch when I start losing somd hope about our community, while trying to see the real issues that exist to this day...or see more people online criticize queer people for wanting to have sex.
I would love to know your opinions about Cliff, thoughts about my thoughts, and more below! Have a Lovely day/night, everyone!
Next on the docket: Kisses in the Dark. An 8 ish hour audiobook on Spotify! Seems to be a supernatural horror Staring Con O'Neill and Rhiannon Clements(hopefully not a romance, since, with the person I googled, the age gap is 28 years. It's a bit different with voice acting...but now that I know? eh). I will be listening to that on Saturday (the 17th), and will have my thoughts on that here soon. I've been warned it was recorded during the pandemic at homes. So if you want to join in, prepare yourself for that.
As always, some of you lovelies who suggested/commented on my last few posts! Thank you so much!

Batman #125 *Spoilers*
Hey, I know everyone is mostly reacting to what happened to Tim; but let's not forget another important aspect:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
...we just lost another major Batman villain- and one of the main ones, at that!
First Deadshot and Manbat- though I'll resurrect them to full health, in my RP'S-, then Anarky, Hugo Strange, Ra's Al Ghul and now Penguin?!!!
He**! In her new series; even Poison Ivy states that she's either dying or is planning to commit suicide by mass genocide- probably the latter.
Man; Batman's rogues are dropping like flies, out here!
I'm not gonna bring up any deaths from "Task Force Z"; because as far as I'm concerned, it's an unofficial "Black Label" series.
But back to the topic: DC you need to stop killing Batman's Rogues, okay?
They are one of the handful of aspects, that makes Batman an interesting Superhero.
And while you're at it; bring back some of Batman's old Gold-Silver Age Rogues, as well- with new looks, of course.
But back to the main topic; a moment of silence for Oswald Cobblepot.
You were a great Batman villain and you gave us great stories.
You will be missed- assuming that you're actually dead!
You probably are, though.
Mercury poisoning is no joke.
Maybe next time, have your chef cook your fish, before you eat it!
I mean; just because you're named after a water bird that eats raw fish, doesn't mean you have to do it too, Ozzie! You Knob!
I mean look at Catwoman! She dresses as an animal that eats raw fish; but she still has the common sense, to eat her seafood cooked- most of the time.
Sushi is a thing; and you can bet that she occasionally indulges, in it.
But you have no excuse, Penguin!
Sorry...had to say all that.
It's tragic that he died, but still!
And for him; it wasn't even sushi, either!
Dude would straight up take a whole raw fish and actually chomp down on it- scales and all!
And in large amounts, as well!
Honestly; I'm actually surprised that he didn't die from Mercury poisoning, sooner.
Come to think of it; I'm also surprised that he wasn't dying from long-term Hypothermia- assuming that the temperature of his Iceberg Lounge was always freezing, which it probably wasn't.
I'm also surprised; that it wasn't diabetes, sirois, lung cancer or a clogged artery, that was doing him in.
Or even a combination of all four- with both Mercury Poisoning and that Cyanide capsule, added at the end.
Talk about a "Sinister Six" XD - oh right, DC Comics.
Not to mention; he also had a short fuse, brought on by his many complexes- including his Napoleon Complex! XD
So it is mindboggling; how anger-fueled strokes and aneurisms, weren't even a death factor for him, when #125 was being made.
But seriously. Penguin should have been dying from those four, that I listed , considering how Ozzie indulged in so much rich and fatty foods, copious amounts of alcohol and excess tobacco, over the years...
Not to mention; I don't think we ever saw him do any form of excercise, in the comics- not to lose weight, but to make sure his ticker and joints, were still working, perfectly.
And now that I'm thinking about it; he probably never brushed his teeth, after stuffing his face, either...🤢
No wonder his lips and saliva were always black, in the movie Batman Returns and in later comics...
Oh God! And he probably forced all his female workers and escorts to kiss him! 🤮
I'm pretty sure they all contracted something, afterwards! 😂
And he was supposed to be "The Gentleman of Crime?" 🤣
Ozzie; you were a gross Human being, with a short fuse, a vindictive attitude and a penchant for physically, mentally, emotionally and socially disfiguring anyone, who had the misfortune of crossing your "Socio-Path"- shout out to Rick Sanchez, for that term-, and doing anything, you saw as an attack, on your fragile ego!
You made a number of bad choices- especially in terms of personal health-, and all of Gotham City won't miss you, one bit- the citizens may remember you a lot and some may even finally get to safely mock you and produce a lot of stuff, in the media, to make you a fixture, in Gotham and cement your legacy...but they most certainly will not miss you!
Ohhh, I like how minutes ago; I was "soft-mourning" Ozzie's death, and now I'm just taking a massive dump, on his grave...
But considering what just happened to Tim- and right after Pride Month, too-; I'm probably the first of many, who will be doing that.
I guess you could say that we'll all be roasting him!
His goose has already been cooked, so why not. XD
Nevertheless; R.I.P. Oswald Cobblepot. AKA, "The Penguin"- "Detective Comics #58, 1941" - "Batman #125, 2022".
Thank you for being a great Batman villain and for making an umbrella of all personal items, one of the many symbols of fear, in Gotham- Oh! And for helping keep the top hat, monocle and tuxedo outfit, in fashion.
Diamond Jim Brady, would be proud:
Tumblr media
Also P.S.; in the backup story, with Catwoman...
Tumblr media
...yeah.
Silver lining, though; we may get to see Ethan Cobblepot, again- assuming DC remembers, that he exists.
(( To the following accounts:
@multi-muse-transect
@darkknightofgotham
@yellowskinnedwackyman
@trenhead
Please reblog this makeshift eulogy/roast, so it can be shared around the Batman/Comic Book community, on here.
Thanks. 😁👍))

In regards to the post about characters who seem collected and have their shit together but then you peel back a few layers and they are so inherently flawed: I'd like to talk about Diluc Ragnvindr.
(as always, k/luc shippers DNI please)
I'm going to be talking about a few of the recent events here, as well.
When the traveler met Diluc, it was clear that the man has a lot of concern about the well-being of others, and Mondstadt as a whole. He accepts the fact that Venti is Barbatos and it doesn't change his objective. He doesn't like to work with the Knights for unknown reasons. He works at night in disguise to keep the city safe.
He seems to be a very level-headed man with straight morals, and he has a gentlemanly presence. He is well-spoken and knows when things need to be taken into his own hands.
When faced the issue of the Abyss Order sending the Knights of Favonius a sort of peace offering to make a mutual enemy of the Darknight Hero, he already knows. It's odd, right? So, he must have connections. And a fast working network at that. Ok, so that's not unheard of. He's rich and powerful, but he's using those resources to help others. Right?
When speaking of good and evil, he states that "heroes and villains are both sides of one coin".
And you think huh. Ok. Alright. That's odd to be saying but whatever. I know you're a good guy, you helped us thwart the Abyss Order.
So you go with him to stake out an area to gather information on the Abyss Order with him. He insists on masks. Ok. Well. I guess that makes sense right? But Diluc has bright red hair. How stupid is the enemy?
You corner the abyss mage and oh ok. Diluc is committing a literal war crime by torturing the mage with pyro. He slipped into a separate angrier tone of voice and started using pyro with his bare hands. Is that something people with visions usually do? Well, according to the Abyss Mage, no.
Diluc burns the guy for intel and then it's hinted that he killed it in the end, seeing as it's disappeared from the area.
Ok.
Paimon is scared of him now. Valid. But he's on our side? So there's nothing to worry about. Only you remember his line about heroes and villains. Ok.
So Diluc comes up with this thought of using this mixture that slimes are attracted to en-masse and dumping that at the side gate to distract the knights. He says this is the only way. Insisting that you do not tell the knights about this because they're ill equipped.
It seems… dramatic honestly. Right? I mean, the Knights are also actively trying to protect the city.
But diluc goes on to explain every bit of his plan. And you realize uh. Well you won't be doing much, huh. This is a plan that mostly involves Diluc telling you what's going to happen. Step by step.
Lie to the knights.
Make sure you get out of the tavern.
Get to the gates by 10pm to meet the small army of abyssal creatures that are set to storm the city.
And diluc just singlehandedly takes them all out. Not even using his vision a majority of the time.
He is a fucking force to be reckonedc with. Why did you come along. He slaughtered everything with no remorse.
So now, at the end of this quest.
You have this man who supposedly is calm and collected- scrambled to put together a very intricate plan to put Mondstadt in danger (specifically the slime infestation at the side gate that, the traveler will STILL get commissions to deal with the slimes years later), simply so he (the more capable one in his mind) could go out and be a vigilante, to save the city himself.
And you start to realize that no. Diluc really isn't a good person.
Does he genuinely care about protecting the innocents in Mond? Yes.
It's clear that this is something that distresses him and that weighs heavily on his shoulders. He never regards himself as a hero, either. He does not do this for recognition.
Will Diluc put others in danger to continue playing out this role he's picked for himself? Yes. He put the city in danger to make sure he could take care of what he did.
He's also not above torturing captives for information
And then you read his story.
He went on a 3 year spree across Teyvat to search for answers in regards to his father's death. Using the delusion that killed his father, and learning to use it without killing himself. He killed so many Fatuus and took out so many strongholds that the Harbingers themselves had to come and put him down.
And it's odd, right?
Because over the last few updates, the traveler has been learning that the Fatui are a cult, essentially. And the soldiers that work hard and fight are doing this because it's this great honor, but they're also people. They're actual people with actual quests and motivations and stories.
(Side note: If you haven't done the fortune slip hidden quest in inazuma you should. There's some juicy fatui lore to be had)
And the more the traveler learns about the Fatui, the more they are people.
Diluc shut out the notion that each and every soldier he killed was an individual. He's not welcome in Snezhnaya because of what he did. He likely killed hundreds of Fatuus in his 3 year spree.
And every time we have conversations with some Fatuus that are willing to talk, I just think about how Diluc went and slaughtered ruthlessly.
Agafya in this quest at golden apple archipelago says something like "you wpuld really burn someone alive? Not even the cruelest Fatui Agent would do that."
And I think that wording was purposeful. We know damn well Diluc would.
She also says it's inhumane to torture people for information, and that they are taught that if they give up intel to the enemy, then they'll be killed with no remorse because the other side will have no use for you. Citing incidents mentioned in the past by her commander.
It's just… telling. And I'm maybe reading too into things, but if the Fatui are all briefed on the traveler and Paimon… with what we've done… there's no way Diluc and his actions aren't being used to further scare the Fatui soldiers into behaving a certain way. They have specific rules to follow during situations where they are hostages. They mention being burned alive and how cruel it is.
What I'm easentially trying to say is: Diluc has committed atrocities. Diluc has likely not paid for these atrocities, just like he hasn't paid for harming his brother.
Diluc is stuck in this world where he thinks his actions are selfless simply because they align with a certain moral cause. But his morals change based on the situation and based on the enemy.
Remember those rumors Moco and Hillie (two of Diluc's maids) talk about at the winery? About people staying the night and then going missing the next morning? And how Adelinde refused to acknowledge it?
I think Diluc has a hand in that.
I think Diluc is a dangerous man who refuses to acknowledge what he is. He's deeply traumatized by what happened with his father to the point where he hates talking about it. He carries the weight of Mondstadt's well-being on his shoulders alone because he 'has to' or 'he's the only one capable'. When in actuality he knows damn well there are good knights who are trustworthy. (Jean, Kaeya, Albedo).
I think he's selfish at heart. Living out his fantasy here in Mondstadt. Refusing to change. Wallowing in self-loathing whenever something horrible happens. Putting others down to continue what he supposedly has to do alone.
He'd a mess, truly. And I wouldn't want to make an enemy out of him.
I know people talk about a betrayal in terms of Kaeya and Khaenri'ah. But I think if anyone, we should be worried about Diluc snapping. He's dangerous. He has connections. He has the means to make problems disappear. He has the money, the status.
He's so dangerous. And yet his self-loathing, his guilt, and his stubbornness keep him from going down that route.
It's part of why I think, if he ever approaches Kaeya to reconcile, I think that's when the traveler should start being worried about ulterior motives or drastic happenings.
Yes he cares. Yes! I do genuinely think he cares! But it's also such a vicious cycle of harm and hatred. And hatred kills people from the inside out.
Anyway yeah thanks for listening to my absolute mess of an infodump. If you made it this far thank you I appreciate your patience and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Having just moved to Boston, a natural destination for a horror fan like myself has been the city of Salem, Massachusetts about 40 minutes north. I have indeed, like a dirty tourist, partaken in many of the attractions that have made Salem famous, but one place I imagine will be a repeat destination for me is the Cinema Salem, a three-screen movie theater that not only hosts the annual Salem Horror Fest but also, this October, is running many classic Universal monster movies all month long. For my first movie there, I decided to check out The Invisible Man, the most famous adaptation of H. G. Wells' 1897 novel, and I was not expecting the movie I got. Don't get me wrong, it was a good movie, albeit an uneven one. But if your understanding of the Universal Monsters is that they're slow, dry, classy, and old-fashioned, you'll be as surprised as I was at just how wild and funny this movie can get. What would've been just a passable horror movie is elevated by Claude Rains as an outstanding villain who may be literally invisible but still finds a way to hog the screen at every opportunity, one who singlehandedly made this film a classic and part of the horror canon through his sheer presence. It has a lot of rough spots, but I still do not regret going out of my way to see this in a theater.
The film opens in an inn in the small English village of Iping, where Jack Griffin, a man clad head to toe in a trench coat, hat, gloves, bandages, and dark goggles, arrives in the middle of a blizzard. We soon find out that he is a scientist who performed a procedure on himself that turned him invisible, and shortly after that, we find out that this procedure drove him murderously insane as he came to realize that he could now commit any crime and get away with it because nobody will even know how to find him, let alone arrest him. Immediately, we get a sense of what kind of man Griffin is as he attacks the inn's owner for trying to get him to pay his rent, then leading the police on a merry chase when they step into try and evict him, his crimes only escalating from there.
Rains plays Griffin as a troll, somebody for whom the ultimate real-world anonymity has enabled him to let out his inner jerk, and he relishes it. He frequently drops one-liners as he harasses, assaults, and eventually outright murders the people who cross his path, and packs an evil laugh with the best of them. At times, the film veers almost into horror-comedy as it showcases the more mischievous side of Griffin's crime spree, such that I'm not surprised that some of the sequels to this that Universal made in the '40s would be straight-up comedies. That said, Rains still played Griffin as a fundamentally vile person, one who forces his former colleague Dr. Kemp to act as his accomplice knowing he can't do anything about it, kills scores of people in one of the highest body counts of any Universal monster movie, and clearly seems conflicted at points about his descent into villainy only for his power to seduce him back into it -- perhaps best demonstrated in a scene where he talks to his fiancée Flora about how he wishes to one day cure himself, only to slip into ranting about how he could then sell the secret of his invisibility to the world's armies, or perhaps even raise one such army himself and take over the world. The Invisible Man may be the most comedic of Universal's "classic" monsters, but the film never forgets that he's a monster. What's more, while the seams may now be visible on the special effects and chromakey that they used back in the day to create the effect of Griffin's invisibility, a lot of it still works surprisingly well. Already, as I dip my toes into the classic Universal horror movies, I've started to notice why the monsters have always been at the center of the nostalgia, discourse, and marketing surrounding them, and it's because they and the actors playing them are usually by far the most memorable parts of their movies.
It's fortunate, too, because I've also started to notice a recurring flaw in the Universal monster movies: that the parts not directly connected to the monster usually aren't nearly as memorable. I've barely even talked about Griffin's fellow scientists, and that's because they were only interesting insofar as they were connected to him, which made Kemp the most interesting non-villainous character in the film by default simply because of how Griffin uses and torments him. Flora, a character original to the movie who wasn't in the book, felt almost completely extraneous and had next to nothing to do in the plot, feeling like she was thrown in simply because the producers felt that there needed to be at least one token female presence and love story in the film. When the film was focused on Griffin, it was genuinely compelling, whether it was building tension (such as in the opening scenes at the inn, or Kemp's interactions with Griffin) or in the more madcap scenes of Griffin's mayhem. However, when the film diverted its attention from him to the scientists and police officers searching for him, it quickly started to drag. This was a pretty short movie at only 70 minutes, but it still felt like it had a lot of flab and pacing issues.
The Bottom Line
The monster is the reason why people remember this movie, and what a monster he is. Claude Rains and the effects team took what could've easily been a cheap and disposable adaptation and made something truly memorable out of it, even if the rest of the film doesn't entirely hold up today. I still think the 2020 version is a far better movie, but this was still an enjoyable, entertaining, and surprisingly wild time.

Having seen stories like HOTD a few times, when it comes to enigmatic characters, we usually got told straight up in the first couple of episodes why they are acting the way they are. I think for Daemon, the definitive scene that defines his character's motivations is in that scene at the end, where Viserys and he fight in the throne room. Here is the dialogue:
Prince Daemon: You cut the image of the conqueror, brother.
King Viserys: Did you say it?
Prince Daemon: I don't know what you mean.
King Viserys: You will address me as "Your Grace," or I will have my Kingsguard cut out your tongue. "The Heir for a Day." Did you say it?
Prince Daemon: We must all mourn in our own way, Your Grace.
King Viserys: My family has just been destroyed. But instead of being by my side, or Rhaenyra's, ( shouting ) you chose to celebrate your own rise! Laughing with your whοres and your lickspittles! You have no allies at court but me! I have only ever defended you! Yet everything I've given you, you've thrown back in my face.
Prince Daemon: You've only ever tried to send me away. To the Vale, to the City Watch, anywhere but by your side. Ten years you've been king, and yet not once have you asked me to be your Hand!
King Viserys: Why would I do that?
Prince Daemon: Because I'm your brother. And the blood of the dragon runs thick.
King Viserys: Then why do you cut me so deeply?
Prince Daemon: I've only ever spoken the truth. I see Otto Hightower for what he is.
King Viserys: An unwavering and loyal Hand?
Prince Daemon: A cսոt. A second son who stands to inherit nothing he doesn't seize for himself.
King Viserys: Otto Hightower is a more honorable man than you could ever be.
Prince Daemon: He doesn't protect you. I would.
King Viserys: From what?
Prince Daemon: Yourself. You're weak... Viserys. And that council of leeches knows it. They all prey on you for their own ends.
King Viserys: I have decided to name a new heir.
Prince Daemon: I'm your heir.
King Viserys: Not anymore. You are to return to Runestone and your lady wife at once, and you are to do so without quarrel by order of your King.
A couple of things you can take away
Daemon said he never lied
His loyalties to his family are made extremely clear, through the dialogue in this scene
His claim that he never lies (at least to his family) can be backed up by his honest, albeit brutal, assessment of his brother, how he is being manipulated, and how Otto cannot be trusted
He says he would protect his brother, and we see his brand of protection earlier in the episode. He is merciless with anybody committing a crime in the city. It is a safe assumption that he would be the same way if he was Hand.
If we are to believe that he never lied, then he did say the "heir for a day" line, but perhaps he did not mean it how it was perceived. Perhaps he meant it in a melancholy way. Which means that he was willing to acknowledge that another person was heir to Viserys instead of him. This would further support the claim that he indeed loves his family.
Daemon has, of course, been brutal. His behavior has been hotheaded, impulsive, and dangerous... but like... yes he beat up the messenger in the war at the stepstones, but he still collaborated with Corvus and fought in the typical way wars are fought. Yes, he brought Rhaenyra down to a pleasure den, but he did not lay with her. He made claim that Mysaria was pregnant with his baby, but it turned out to be a lie. He was seen going to kill Rhea, his estranged wife, only for to be cut out.
Also, in that scene with her, for a guy who is considered "chaotic and uncontrollable," he didn't say a damn thing. Rhea just kept talking and Deamon said nothing. It felt pretty calculated to me.
You don't have a character like Daemon Targaryen described as "equal parts light and dark, loved and loathed" and have him be this horrible villain 100% of the time. And yet they have made him enigmatic as hell.
But what we know from that scene with Viserys? He is loyal to his family.
(Also, maybe Mysaria and the Crabfeeder are connected, but that is just a shot in the dark).

Let's Talk About Trigun Stampede
I can't I just HHHNNNNGGGHHHH ok before the rage builds up in me and blows up I will first and foremost say that the Voice acting and the animation are freaking amazing and beautiful... NOW WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY.
Listen, Trigun has been my favorite anime (the og) for about what 20 years now? It was goofy, it was fun, Vash was fun and it was all around a good time, then I got introduced to the manga and it was a lot darker, seriously if you have not read Trigun Maximum you should it's amazing and it's everything Trigun Stampede should have been but was too scared to be. So you may ask what are my issues?
The most glaring issue for me is Vash, sure in the new anime he looks amazing but... that's it, they have somehow managed to make this fun-loving goofy yet at times serious character who wielded a gun with pinpoint accuracy more of a pacifist than he already was, a major crying bleeding heart which HHHHHNNNNRRRHGHASKAGJFAEIa I'm cool I'm calm, I'm ok, I'll be ok.
So aside from him being a whiny baby with superhuman skills what else have they changed? Well for one his reluctance to use a gun, which yes sure you do see it in the original and even in the manga but he still uses it and he uses it a lot more frequently than he does in Trigun Stampede, and most importantly he was never afraid to use it, and never hesitant to use it when need be. Sure most of his shots were made to be non-lethal and to deflect bullets which he does a lot of btw but the hesitation I keep seeing him with using the gun is just WHY?! It does not need to be there, the only time he panicked was when he blew up a mfing city due to interference from his brother and losing control.
Listen if you're gonna base yourselves off of the Trigun manga (which there is clear inspiration from btw) base yourself off the manga. Don't be a coward, don't jump in between going "mmm nah this is too dark, we'll take this out, and this out, and this out, and this out, and hell let's just water the whole thing down, and change character personalities."
So with that being said I feel like the biggest crime is the butchering of Vash's character but that isn't to say I'm going to avoid all the other crimes this anime has committed oh no no no no.
Wolfwood, while they got his personality mostly right, a few things they omitted or just straight up took out, if this anime was supposed to be like the Manga, Wolfwood should have been there right from the very beginning as both a spy for Millions Knives and as Vash's Babysitter so to speak. If they wanted to make it more like the original anime he also should have come relatively soon and had a more shall we say cheerful disposition but with more seriousness added to him.
So once again another example of this anime not knowing what they wanted to do, or perhaps they did, perhaps they wanted to combine the two or do something I don't freaking know man I just know it doesn't feel right. Especially when Wolfwood has probably the sickest showdown in the history of manga dedicated to his name. That's right there is an entire volume, dedicated to Wolfwood, called Wolfwood that shows the epic showdown (once again spoiler alert he ends up dying he always ends up dying). It is definitely cemented itself in my head as one of the greatest fight showdowns out there and here I am expecting that with the title in the Anime called "Wolfwood" and wah wah WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. Usually, when his name is used for a volume or episode title it USUALLY indicates something epic is about to go down because that's the kind of awesome dude he is and... nothing we got nothing special.
Millie WHERE THE EVER LOVING HECK IS MILLIE?! She is Meryl's right-hand woman for crying out loud and SHE IS ABSOLUTELY FREAKING NOWHERE WHY?! Like what? Did they not want to bring in a tall woman valkyrie who wields a freaking gatling gun?! No, instead they bring in a dude who and I checked both the manga and original anime, I cannot find him anywhere, so what is this supposed to be an origin story????
Like ok, the anime is showing darker things but it's like they were too scared to go too dark? Even though (spoiler alert) they kill off an innocent kid who Meryl isn't able to save and a buncha bs goes down and I can see very clear Manga influences but they're doing it all wrong by warping the personalities and who was and was not there and just ARG.
Meryl, they got her persistence right and her bold never give-up attitude but, once again I must ask here, is this supposed to be some weird origin story? Like are we gonna get clearer manga influences in season 2? Because she also is not afraid to fire a gun, and her entire bloody cloak... jacket... thing is jam-packed full of one-shot guns that she then either throws away or replaces the bullets of after I know it's silly but yeah she's got a cloak full of them. More importantly, SHE IS NOT AFRAID TO SHOOT IF SHE HAS TO. Now usually Vash steps in before she gets into too much trouble even in the one anime episode where he barely appears and it's more of a filler he ends up helping her out but yeah.
I could go on but these are some of the most egregious examples I could see, and yes there are more it's just *sigh* I can't, I just, I wanted something closer to the manga a little bit darker but still faithful and this to me wasn't it. It's fine if you like it, and it's fine if you have nothing to base your experience off of and you enjoy it like I said the visuals and everything are stunning and the theme song is far better than the original theme song. I, on the other hand, do have something to base this off of and I own both the Trigun Manga which is THICK, and the Trigun Maximum Manga, and the OG complete anime series, like I said, favorite anime and manga, so, of course, I should've been excited... until they butchered everything like they did with the live-action Cowboy Bebop... well ok maybe not that bad but it feels just as bad.
So I'm not mad at this point just sad and disappointed.

Alright I put off telling you this straight away cus I thought I was gonna get in SO MUCH TROUBLE but here you are. Also Tumblr deleted the first part of my message so the writings not up to scratch Tumblr CEO count your fucking days I've calculated the IP address of that weird Pikachu man you keep putting on my dash I'll find yours too cunt
So I'm lining up for my science class waiting for my teacher to show up, right? And I'm standing behind this one dickhead in the line who's like openly racist, antisemitic, mysogynistic, and homophobic. And a Hijabi person walks by our class while we're lining up, right? This is no biggie to a normal person like me (*tilts hand in a sideways motion while saying a conspicuous "eeEEeHhH"*) ofc but the dude Infront of me has his head shoved so far up his ass he should be standing in the middle of the road in an orange vest acting as a traffic cone instead of being counted as a human being. So he makes some recycled joke about terrorism and now he's Islamophobic too holy shit bingo everyone!!! So I go "dude we get it, it's small, now mind your own business before I commit several crimes before 10:30am on a Tuesday." I thought that was the end of it. I thought wrong. He then proceeds to push "women are dishwashers" and whatever else he can muster out of his shrivelled up, dehydrated arsehole and I'm like "yeah no" so I think to myself what object do I have on hand with me right now that will cause physical harm to this kid?.... Oh ho ho is that a pencil I'm holding? Perfect!! So I turn the pencil around so the sharpened end isn't facing him and proceed to relentlessly stab this child. Yes it was a bit far yes he deserved it yes my mother should've listened when I told her I was having "severe detailed homicidal thoughts" and yes it was glorious. Now normally I would never condolne violence (that's a lie I lied I'm a big fat liar liar pants on sale idk the saying I was never included in the playground games and I want to see blood) but c'mon the kid's had this coming for months now. So after I'm done stabbing this dude I'm like "okay shithead you learnt your lesson yet?" He touches his hand to the back of his head to massage it. He pulls his hand away. There's blood.. ..oh. um...... Okay this wasn't meant to happen ah shit fuck fuck fuck. Everyone else in class is like "wait that probably neurodivergent kid with social anxiety did what now" and I'm standing there like oh fuck uh he deserved it obv and I don't exactly feel bad but damn. And wouldn't you know it my fucking SCIENCE TEACHER appears right at this very moment! Great!! So I go "okay dude you totally deserved that but I do feel a bit bad for causing another human being to bleed... But then again that human being was you and I did give you a warning even though I shouldn't have to in the first pla- okay forget it I'll go get U some ice." So I go up to my teacher like "um hi sir this kid's head is bleeding can I go get some ice" and he goes "yeah sure idc." Doesn't bother to check if the kid is in any actual pain or if I'm just trying to skip. Doesn't ask how his head started bleeding in the first place. Every day I grow more and more convinced my science teacher is the zodiac killer. Anyway I leave to get ice and can't find any like anywhere so that's fun. I do come back with tissues tho so he gets that. So yeah that's the story of how 16 I think days ago I tried to kill a kid with with my pencil and my science teacher probably would have joined in if he'd been there in time. Moral of the story children: s O M E t i m e s,,,,, violence does indeed solve alot. Also stab Islamophobes and mysogynists in the head when possible alright baaiiiiii love you 💖💖💖
Bonus story the dude's girlfriend got SO MAD AT ME OMLLLLL. Like she went "why'd you Only do this to MY BOYFRIEND, hUh?? Why not [insert every guy in my school] they say this stuff toO YA KNOW." 🙄 Like ma'am first of all tame your fucking dog why is he saying shit like this in the first place. Also if you want them to suffer the same treatment that badly my prices usually range from 20 - 30 depending on if I know you or not. Call it the friends and family discount. It's hard being a creature in STEM (slaying, treachery, evil, murder) and maintaining my 11/10 look all at the same time 🙄🙄🙄✨
insane anon confirmed to be physically violent as well as psychologically violent

woo woo and mimosa (for bird and fish ocs? i love them)
I feel like these are good questions for Eckehart, so here we go!
What’s their relationship like with their parent(s)/guardian(s)?
Eckehart's parents are both dead. His mother died giving birth to him, so he used to have absolutely TERRIFYING nightmares about her. His father was cold and unaffectionate (and, well, just really not a good man) who left the "raising" part of Eckehart's development to the house staff. As a result, he now holds a particular affinity for those in service or household industries, but they were never a full substitute for the love of his very absent father.
Eckehart saw his father as a sort of untouchable god. Then, when he learned about his family legacy and about Schmidt & Foster, he hated his father and decided to live on his own as a teenager and university student. Now, Eckehart resides somewhere in the middle-- no longer knowing how to hate his father but also understanding that his father was not someone who ever had the capacity to love him.
Has your oc ever committed any crimes? if so, what did they do? if not, what would they be most likely to commit?
LOL. Okay, so this is actually really fun for me to think about. Eckehart has some anger issues and has totally gotten into some pretty rowdy bar brawls, but 99% of the time, he is idealistic and straight-laced. With that in mind, has he occasionally committed small, victimless crimes to take out his frustrations? Abso-fucking-lutely.
Like, Eckehart is a piano player. I'm 100% certain that he made a secret copy of the music-hall key so that he could sneak into the school and play whenever he wanted. He has also definitely vandalized Schmidt & Foster property while blackout drunk.

yeah I'm sure she never looked her collaborator and friend, Todrick Hall, in the eye even when she did his nails before he, a gay man, won alongside her for a song they made about calling bigots overreacting morons. Hell, she gave him the mic to accept the award himself. Ask her friends, Phoebe Bridgers, Muna, her openly queer backup dancers, the trans man from her Lavender Haze music video, idk ask any of them and the many lgbt people she's friends with I can't remember off the top of my head if she makes good enough eye contact for you. I dunno what crime people think she committed just for being a white straight girl, but jfc. Many, many of her fans are lgbt. there's so much love for her from femme lgbts all around the world and in her actual concert crowds where they feel loved and supported. And God forbid yeah she has a lot of female fans. We all know how much respect is given to people when their fanbase is female. Pretty sure people get upset about that on this here tumblr but it doesn't count when it's Swift, because she's too much fun to pull out of a hat and hate on command. She has a good heart and has done more charitable things than is ever talked about, giving away millions towards disaster relief and food banks and towards her touring crew, down to the truck drivers, towards lgbt charities and campaigns, which you might know if you actually knew anything about her that isn't just the same rehashed 2016 misogyny I'm genuinely sick of. yes she uses a fucking private jet but so do thousands of other rich fuckers nobody knows the name of, who DO have the option of flying commercial but don't. trust me I hate that fckn jet too but that's not what this post is about so go get mad somewhere else, I'll be there with you. But she's a better person than most who has also had to deal with more misogyny than most so pls just move on and find something more productive to make fun of than a popular woman who tries her best and shows up on your phone more than I know you'd like. I'm sure she'd also prefer not to show up in your life, but she doesn't have much control over that, does she? maybe stop bringing her up and you'll see her less! just an idea. you know, algorithms and such. good lord.

✨Galaxy Anon ✨ here!
Feel proud of it! Your work it amazing! Oh totally same. I’m thinking of making a fanfiction but for another fandom one day and one of the things that holds me back to try to publish it is fight scenes. I suck at writing fighting and I need to at least get more of an idea before I publish my work. And also because I don’t want people to steal my work.
Ooh I see. Wow then that sucks then when people asked you about that since no you’re off the clock and yet they still try to make you do things for them. Wait that long for a paycheck? Shit man I would hate it then since I’m not working six weeks to get a paycheck finally. There is rent and bills to pay.
Also my god today I know for sure the host hates me! I asked the manager if I can have two more tables and she heard her because the manager even told her as well and she nodded! And she gave me three and even worse the fact the third was when the time I told her I needed to leave. And when I told someone and they confronted her she has the audacity to act like she never heard that and that I never said that. The audacity. Man that lady is so horrible sometimes. She’s the one who acts passive aggressive so you can’t blame her for anything but she knows what she is doing.
Hooray i’m safe! Ooh that be fun! I actually never watched it ( everyone with those pitchforks put them down!). What is it actually about? Yes especially if the one who commit the crime gets barely to no consequences. I have literally heard cases where it even helps those kinds of people and the government asks why people don’t trust them. People you guys literally let horrible people put on the streets. Yeah when it’s a case that makes me horrified or mad then I know you put it down. It isn’t worth my own mental health but my heart goes out to those poor victims and families.
My god yes thank you. No offense to people who want a family early or had a kid young but I can barely function sometimes right now so why do you want a kid that young? Everything becoming more expensive these days Nope not for me. Yes though because there the ones who stay and take care of the child so good on them for standing up and taking care of things…unless there abusive then it’s better if the kid was getting adopted by a good family. But also some dads because they also stick with their kids. Guess it wasn’t meant to be oh well.
Ooh it meant I love you? Then I love ya too! Also it’s a cute habit keep doing the habit!
Awww thank you! I try to give you guys the best. Though at some point I need to edit some cause the writing on them isn't the best. If you ever decided to post any work I will be there to help and support you!
No there was a bit of mix up there. We got paid every two weeks, but our work schedule was work 6 weeks straight no days off then get 2 weeks off.
Holy shit that sounds God awful, and I'm glad other people called her out on her shit. I strongly dislike those coworkers who make your job harder for no reason. They are the worst.
So to put it without spoilers hobbit and friends go on a journey to destroy the evil ring so evil doesn't come back to destroy everything. The story is so much cooler than I described it lol but you get the idea. Oh, I agree my mom is also into true crime so when she hears something new she likes to talk to me about it. However some days I have to step away because it becomes too much. I usually go back to my own home for a while to play games. My heart goes out to the victims and their families too.
Because it was always just me and my mom I had to raise my younger siblings and let me tell you that shit was hard. I don't want to do it again any time soon. I'm cool with me, my cat, and possibly a dog. Don't get me started on father shit galaxy I don't think it's for the public lol.
Lol aww thank you 💕

Character opinion bingo: I saw you already got Boone, so how about the Enclave Remnants?
Tumblr media
I'd like to start by saying I haven't played Fallout 2 so I'm not too familar the crimes committed by the Enclave, except for the information I've gathered from the Fallout community and what Arcade tells us about it during his companion quest (and his opinion about each Remnant is extremely helpful considering he's known them since he was a child).
Arcade describes them as good, skilled people who could make a difference in the upcoming battle against Caesar, despite serving at Navarro for some time 40 years before the current events of Fallout: New Vegas. In all honesty I wholeheartedly believe him, even if their past is strictly tied to the Enclave.
Arcade grew up and kept contact with them even during his adult years (specifically with Daisy who is like a second mother to him), so he fully trusts them and knows we can rely on them. If the Remnants were nothing but bloodthirsty pawns he wouldn't mention them to us, or even consider asking for their military support. He literally doesn't tolerate a Legion-allied Courier and deliberately leaves if we keep following Caesar's orders (or, you know, straight up ask the Remnants to support the Legion), so they'd receive the same treatment if the situation was different than how it is.
Instead, he's more than happy to share everything he knows about them, and his focus is on how little the Enclave and its ideologies actually mattered to them in their years of service (the only exception being Moreno):
Daisy:
"Being in the Enclave didn't mean much to her. She just loved to fly. It broke her heart to be grounded." - Arcade
Cannibal Johnson:
"If I had to pick anyone who didn't belong in the Enclave, it would definitely be Johnson. He hated what the Enclave was doing. Day to day, week to week, he would question orders, subvert mission objectives, do anything he could to serve without serving. It's amazing he was never court-martialed." - Arcade
Judah Kruger:
"Loyalty means a lot to Judah. Not loyalty to the Enclave, or even the ideals they fought for, but to the people who served with him." - Arcade
Doc Henry:
"I'm sure Henry has goals. He was just more concerned with the "how" than the "why" of things. Being in the Enclave didn't really mean much to him." - Arcade
Orion Moreno:
"Moreno took the fall of the Enclave hard. He never questioned his orders, never questioned the legitimacy of what the Enclave was doing. To him, it was all one unbroken chain, from Washington to Richardson. When we left Navarro, I remember looking up at Moreno. He said, "Kiss America goodbye, boys." When we left the Enclave behind, the love in him burned itself out. Now there's just a bitter old man left." - Arcade
A tiny bit of support to the NCR from the Remnants is also one way to make amends for some of the damage caused by the Enclave, even if it might not be much.
Unfortunately we don't learn about their background in the Enclave until the end of the game since they're strictly tied to Arcade's quest, but in my opinion I'm glad we can meet them in their locations before the quest triggers. Finding out they're simply more than ordinary people is a noce touch: I ran into Daisy, Doc Henry and Judah Kruger in my very first run and discovering they weren't just some minor NPCs left me speechless, lmfao

I've been gone for a bit. I'll probably continue to appear sporadically; unfortunately, me reblogging "does a gay little attack that kills you" struck a nerve with my PR team and they had to "give me a talking to" and "let me know that my on-set therapist was ready to chat whenever I wanted."
Embarrassing.
