So, Butters is a water bender, his main personality is really sweet and naive, just as he is in the show, Butters is born mid war at the Northen Water Tribe, his parents insolate him from the other villagers just because, and would constantly ground him for nothing, but mostly because he is not good enough as a waterbender, both are not masters so they project on him, specially his dad, Who even wants him to become a soilder since he couldn't, the constant presure eventually makes him accidentaly create this "serious side" that he calls Profesor Chaos so he can be the soilder his dad wants him to be, but is never enough.

One day, at the middle of the night, butters and his dad are still training, he es tired, frustaded and mad, his dad doesn't let him get a rest despite him begging, out of anger he snaps and discovers he is a bloodbender.

Personally I don't think Craig is bi, I know he has liked bebe, and he had a gf once, I'm gay, but I've had "crushes" on girls before, that I found out later that they weren't crushea, just me really wanting to be friends with them.
