MORE DLAMP parent thing because I love it. This time featuring the bakery!

Everyone had heard of the bakery, either because they went and saw it or because they’d heard about it from someone else. Patton’s bakery was run by Patton Sanders, and by all accounts was amazing. He had great food, great coffee and was always smiling.

Roman, was usually the cashier and was very nice to little kids which was great. Virgil made coffee, and didn’t talk to people but if someone was being rude to Patton then either or both of them would jump to his defense.

Remy was hanging out with his friends one day when he got a call from Roman. “Hey pops, what’s up?”

“we got a big order, you’ll need to be up front,” Roman said.

“I’ll be there in a sec, sorry guys gotta go help my dads with the bakery,” Remy said leaving.

Remy walked in, put on an apron and started taking orders.

Fantasy (Twisted wonderland v.s reader)

Summary: They try to free you from the camera, but you don't want to leave your fantasy worlds happiness.

Note: This was requested by: @beawesome04 ! They also gave me the ideas I for this! So a very big shout out to them!!

You were empty. A shell, leaving the best part of you in a far away corner. No, not in a corner. In a camera. You look at your lunch with a slight sigh. You hadn't told anyone but you could become part of the camera and its memories for a little while.

You space out, it didn't matter what happened in reality. The fantasy world you decide to stay in. You didn't know what happened to your body every time you left it, you didn't care.

The camera was warm and cozy like a bed. Phote Ace was sitting on a table in Ramshackle, he was smiling and hugged you. You had missed this Ace already, despite having only spent a minute with the other.

"Oh god, I didn't know that you were so weak a ghost camera could wrap you in."

Is what the real Ace said. No words of care or even a get-better-soon wish left their mouths. They all treated you like burdens, burdens they had to get rid off as soon as possible.

"Deuce will come soon, he said something about having to buy eggs?" You giggled, remembering the situation near the start of the school year. Deuce didn't know there were no chicks in the eggs. You look to the floor, in all honesty you couldn't tell whether this had been reality or just another scenario of the camera. But did that matter now?

"If I didn't have to eat in the real world I would stay here forever." Photo-Ace tilts his head. "Huh?" You just shake your head, you had forgotten they didn't know all of this wasn't real. You slowly closed your eyes, maybe this could be real....

If only you could get that stupid bird brain to give you back the artifact. Crowley didn't know you were still connected to the camera. He thought business was doing by just taking it away.

But no one could take the sweet fantasy world away from you. No one will take it away. They could try, but you would make sure to make their lives a living hell.

This world had become one of your obsessions, it made you incredibly angry, even thinking about having to leave this realm set you on fire mentally.

But the outside tried. Ace had carried your dead like body to the infirmary.

"We have to destroy this camera. It holds the prefects soul captive, we must save them."

It was easier for them to pretend that the camera was at fault instead of taking the consequences of their actions. Everyone was so easily swayed by the sweet, sweet lie. They believed in the fantasy rather than the harsh reality.

You could feel yourself getting dragged out of the comfortable warmth. It was cold in the real word, there was no sun, no warm breeze.

"PREFECT! MOVE AWATY FROM THE CAMERA!"

One of them ordered your ghost. But you couldn't understand what they wanted. "But why?"

"Because we are trying to rescue you! "

"Rescue me?" You look at them confused and angry. "There is no rescuing me. I am already rescued." None of them understood you could see it in their eyes, they looked at you as if you said you believed that rocks where humans in disguise.

"You don't understand what you are saying, the camera is manipulating you!"

Who were they to know who was manipulating you? Why couldn't they just leave you alone in your fantasy world? One of them tries to touch the camera, but you grab it and hold it close. "THIS CAMERA IS MINE!"

Ink stains started to form around your ghost body, while you hugged the camera. Deuce felt awfully reminded of the Overblot monster in the dwarves mine.

"Please Prefect! You have to calmd down and give us the camera!"

Epel yells. You just growl. "NO! That camera is mine!" You can feel the rage over your body, it starts to drip out of your eyes, ears and hands, building a puddle on the floor.

There is no physical body that could be infront of the monster, so you and the monster become one. There is no barrier that could slow the Overblot, you are the blot and the blot is you. But you weren't scared, you were only protecting your warmth. The camera rested close to your heart and you could taste the sweet fantasy world and hear the subtle melody of kindness.

You would protect this small peace of your own, no matter what it takes.

BRO, ABOUT HUGHIE AND READER BECAUSE THOSE ARE LIVING RENT FREE IN MY HEAD.

Reader and Hughie in elementary school, Reader is always the one that catches everything in trees, balls, boomerangs, anything that ends up there.

One day, trying to impress Reader, Hughies starts climbing a very tall tree to get a football (FUCK SOCCER) ball that got stuck there after someone kicked too hard, after he retrieves the ball he looks down and oh my god it's so fucking tall, he starts to tremble and panic bc HE IS A HOME BOY HE WAS SUPER PROTECTED HIS WHOLE LIFE THIS DUDE NEVER CLIMBED TREES, and instantly Reader is climbing the tree while trying to calm down Hughie (in their own way, of course) "Dude i know you're really high but do not look down" "Dude what did i tell you??!!" "Calmd down H! If you fall you won't die. I think?"

When Reader gets there, they start to try and convince Hughie to come down holding them but as much as he trusts them he is completely panicked, so he starts to tremble even more and push Reader away when they try to hold him, which ends up in both of them falling and Reader hugging him so the force of the impact would go manly on them, ends up with Reader with both legs broken and a completely shocked Hughie, Reader saved them?! (in all honesty Reader of course did not fucking think "hey im gonna transfer the impact to myself" they just hugged Hughie out of instinct).

guess what time it is

TIME FOR ANOTHER DLMAP SOULMATE AU (adding deceit bc we love and support the snek man on this blog, also what the fuck not)

When you turn ten you get a soulmark, either, a name, what someone says to you, the first place they touch you, can write on skin to talk, a timer

Dolan wakes up with a name on his shoulder, Logan

A slap mark on his cheek

On his wrist it says “This project will bee a success!”

And a timer

He has three soulmates. Dolan rushes to tell his parents in excitement

they don’t share his thoughts, he must have extra soulmates because the first doesn’t love him enough

He hides the marks as best he can.

It’s easier when his parents die in a crash and half his face gets burned. You can barely make out the hand print

He bounces around homes, no one wants him when they learn of his multiple soulmates

He doesn’t really pay attention in class and is used to lying about his soulmates, and everything in general, so he gets the nickname Deceit when kids find out

The first soulmate he meets is Logan when he was thirteen

He’s at the library trying not to be around his latest foster parents

“Hey Loraine, got any soulmates to spare?” someone said.

Dolan got up from his hiding spot

“How about you leave him alone,” he said

the older boys had laughed at him and one slammed him into a bookshelf “or what kid?”

Dolan kicked him in the shin

“I said leave him alone,”

they left, swearing to make his life misserable

“Thank you,” Loraine said.

Dolan nodded “I’m Deceit, I mean Dolan,”

“Logan, are you my soulmate?”

Dolan was sent somewhere else soon after, but was able to keep in contact with Logan by writing and discreetly mailing them when ever he could

In his new school he does tech in thearter convincing hemself because of his face he’d never be able to get a part or be an actor.

While moving things around in rehearsal he gets hit in the face.

“Oh sorry! Are you ok?” a boy asks.

Dolan nodded quickly.

“Roman! You’re soulmark!” His friend said looking at his hand, it was not longer black, instead it was a mix of reds and oranges

When Dolan saw his face later it was a mix of brown, green and a little yellow

Roman looked at Dolan and smiled “hey soulmate! I’m Roman.”

“Hey soulmate, Dolan,” Dolan said.

After rehearsal Dolan and Roman talked, Dolan told him about Logan, who’s name was on Romans stomach

once again Dolan went to a new place.

Their names where Remy and Emile, they had a son named Thomas who was soulless.

When Dolan opened up to them about Having multiple soulmates after a few weeks, they accepted him and later adopted him.

Dolan was over the moon about his adoption.

He met Patton in high school, they meet because they had to do a project together about bees he said “This project will bee a success!”

“That pun was terrible” Dolan lied, by that point he would lie without realizing it

Patton looked a little hurt before realizing “Wait, you’re my soulmate?” 

“Unfortunately,” Dolan lied

Patton’s face fell.

Dolan panicked trying to explain that he didn’t mean it that way and it was sarcastic and didn’t mean it

Patton forgave him quickly enough.

By this time Dolan had a phone and a group chat with Roman and Logan, Patton was quickly added. 

Logan would meet their final soulmate first but not for several years.

They all ended up going to colleges close to each other

When Logan met Virgil their last soulmate he texted everyone immediately to tell them

because they didn’t want to overwhelm Virgil who Logan had observed to be very anxious when first meeting they didn’t arrange a meeting and let destiny run it’s course

Dolan met Virgil while walking to class, he’d been studying to be a lawyer.

He looked at his wrist “you must be Virgil, I’m Dolan, nice to finally meet you,” Dolan said.

Virgil nodded.

“I need to get to class see you later,” Dolan said giving Virgil a nod before walking away.

Eventully Virgil warmed up to all of them and they lived happily.

Whenever someone said something rude about multiple soulmate they all jumped to each other defense making sure to tell the person that they where happy

Dolan would even turn the tables on them and say that it’s s shame they only had one soulmate, and they clearly weren't able to love more then one person at once

he became a big spokes person on soulmate equality saying people with multiple soulmates and soulless people deserved the same rights as people with one soulmate
