And the fact that minutes after she posted about her new album, she had 2 million likes already. We already know the power she has. One example is the surge in voter registration among her devout fanbase just a short while ago because of HER encouragement. This is probably the third or fourth time I've spoken about Swift on my page. And apart from wholeheartedly believing celebrity culture needs to be dismantled entirely -billionaires are never ethical, no matter how beloved they are. Like the fact her and her team are going after a 21 year old for exposing her beyond egregious use of her private jet is just wild to me. Swift must be held accountable for things like this. It's ridiculous she's not.

"Block-Wall"Residence, Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan,
Japanese architecture practice nendo designed a private residence with block-walls made of "CO2-SUICOM", an eco-friendly carbon removal concrete.
The block-walls adjust the line of sight, a creative solution essential in securing privacy from passing traffic and pedestrians while acting as a foil for basking in the natural surroundings.
The design concept was to build the house with concrete block walls that would serve as filter screens. Besides, the material used deserves special attention: “CO2-SUICOM※” blocks, made by replacing a portion of cement, with an industrial byproduct and adding a carbon dioxide-absorbing material for less CO2 emissions during production.
Approximately 2,050 blocks are staggered in parallel rows to create five 3m-high walls. The living space is designed to “fill in the gaps” in between. Calibrating the block angles by three degrees to fit each room condition ensures privacy in the bedroom and bathroom, while also providing a spacious ambiance in the living and dining rooms. Ultimately, the design transpires into blocks arranged in a gradient-like pattern.

why is nobody talking about how taylor swift keeps rereleasing Pollution (taylors version) by appearing in new york by day and then in whatever city shes giving her narcissus show every night. i guess swifties care about important causes but the fact that her snake queen should also own the name climate criminal because she keeps contaminating the earth at an alarming rate is suddenly not one of them.

We could make better weather, but there would be huge sacrifices of our freedom to destroy the climate by the lifestyles we have chosen. -- Michael Lipsey

just found out that Taylor is the celebrity who emits the most CO2 and I'm horrified.
Tumblr media
As a Swiftie who understands the totality of Taylor Swift being a billionaire, I don't claim to be surprised because I'm not.
eat the rich etc.
however, 138 tons is inexplicable. It is an abuse and a crime. and my biggest surprise is that I found out recently only because she was flying back and forth, following her new boyfriend everywhere.
I expected more from Swifties too, the fandom is so organized for some things, but when it would be useful to try to draw attention and hold Taylor responsible for her irresponsible actions, the fandom becomes a desert land.
The amount of pollution caused by private jets is insane. And look, we saw what the warming climate could bring as a result of the first show in Rio de Janeiro.
and I say this as a Brazilian swiftie, from the northeast of the country, who was deeply hurt by Taylor and her team's stance after the tragedy of the first show in Brazil.

100's of bankers are now outside the Citi HQ, locked out of their workplace.
Climate Activists are standing arm-in-arm with our partners, blockading every single door.
Citibank are the top financier of oil and gas in the Amazon and the second largest funders of all fossil fuels.
These bankers are climate criminals. They deserve not a moment of peace.

Countries that remove more CO2 in the atmosphere than that they add.
Due to the very high forested percentages of these countries and the relatively low emissions: Suriname, Bhutan and Panama are currently the only carbon negative countries in the world. Or basically they remove more CO2 out of the air than that they add 🇧🇹: Bhutan 🇸🇷: Suriname 🇵🇦: Panama
