I've been replaying Code: Realize and joked with my friends that I would recreate Saint Germains mansion in the sims. Well 12ish hours later I finished it 👀 I tried to get photos as close to the CG shots that I could
Man so I keep seeing posts about how magical girl shows and dating sims should stop having parodies or darker versions of them at all and as someone who AVIDLY LOVES both genres, both in their serious incarnations AND their parodies, I think people should stop being elitists and let folks enjoy things.
The serious versions of the genre aren't just going to up and poof disappear, that shit's still there for you, too. What are you, the art police?
I'm always looking for things to share and write about and lately I seen alot of posts on kids and all so figured I would start by writing my own list how they would handle if being told they were a daddy to be since their woman said reader is having their child. There is a few that are anime men only but had to add them.
Men that would be scared to death but still stand by you and try to be the best dad's they can be
Men that would just be the best daddys ever hold to your seats these men would be best having daddy's girls to protect and would kill a fucker that would hurt them.
I got through the common route until I had to make the Pick Which Boy You Want option, and went with the comic relief of Impey Barbicane
He's the comic relief ADHD engineer. He makes grand declarations of love based on how hot the heroine is, and constantly causes explosions, fires, and calamity based on whatever engineering project has currently captured his attention.
This is going to be a dumpster fire and I am here for it, methinks.
Boy howdy, am I wrong. Spoilers below the cut
Bro and the heroine Cardia go to retrieve an item for Captain Nemo, for Captain Nemo is working with the British Government's super-Secret-super-evil intelligence wing Twilight, and betrayed the pair.
Nemo steals a fragment of Cardia's heart, the Horologium gem, as to power source for his flying fortress the Nautilus. Cardia frees herself, rescues Impey, and the two leap from the airship in each other's arms, only for Cardia to black out.
The plot now has the heroine lying in bed dying of Soap Opera Disease as the gem's properties are weakened to nil, so Impey does the only logical thing he can do - he holds her hand tenderly for the first time in her life, promises he'll get her the missing piece of her heart, and proceeds to plan on storming a flying fortress manned by a mad wizard.
This is the kind of preposterous delightful nonsense that comes straight out of a fairy tale. The character who ranked the lowest in all of the fan polls for most popular Code:Realize protagonist is doing literal Fairy Tale Prince shit and I am here for it.
