For the sake of guidance, I hope people will follow the highest precautions possible. The worst of SARS-CoV-2 is not limited to 2020, despite what is stated by politicians, media outlets and other public figures and professionals to whom it applies.

I want to inform readers the CDC has officially ended the 5 day isolation period for SARS-CoV-2 and this does not suddenly mean it is not contagious or that our protocols should be lapsed or relaxed. Spread is more rampant than ever. So please do not let this announcement and decision give a false sense of security.

Note, please do not use the Washington Post as a source for quality coverage of the ongoing pandemic.

As others have said, if SARS-CoV-2 cannot be eradicated (I still hold out hope and think it imperative in fact), it means adjusting and adapting, not ignoring it, treating this virus and disease as harmless or of little harm and create hostile untenable conditions and daily situations for any efforts of prevention and control of it.

Of what I've read over the course of 4 years, SARS-CoV-2 continues to mutate, kill and disable. This cannot last and will end in an ever escalating disaster if we continue to allow it. - Admin and mod

Additional: Immunity rates are a concern as are vaccination rates. The boast of vaccines administered does not often enough include a breakdown based on how many in the series per person (e.g. 1 dose, primary series, x number of boosters and how recently).

Vaccine rates vary by country, but in regard to the U.S. rates have been on a decline, thus compromising effectiveness on a population level.

This is probably a coincidence and nothing to do with the strikes but I still think it’s hilarious.

Bark is a freelancing website and whilst I have studied scriptwriting and have submitted a few things in the past, I am not on Bark as a freelance script writer. I used to ghost write Covid-19 information for websites and I didn’t even know I still had my bark account.

And the projects are all super vague.

Almost like they’re not real projects and someone just wants to get some statistics on how many non union writers there are out there. But like I said, I’m in the Uk, and a nobody, so this is probably just a very boring coincidence.

My close long distance friend, calls me Panda 🐼, this completely looks like me in a GIF haha 😄!

This is my energy right now. I'm still stuck in bed with covid-19, being immune compromised, my body is having a rough time fighting off this virus.

My chronic migraines are really bad today. I'm laying in the dark with ice on my head 🫠.

I laid down today expecting to take a thirty minute nap. When I wound up sleeping 💤 for 4 hours 🙃!

Today is not my best day. But I'm going to make the best out of it.

I have my friend texting me, keeping me company. I have my kitty 😺 who has been very cuddly today. ☺️ However her screams are a bit much for my migraine today 😅. I don't know why she likes to scream bloody murder as she talks to you... I have a weird cat. She's very loud!

I have my electric heated blanket, I'm comfortable in bed. I have social media to keep me entertained. My friend may go on Tiktok live later tonight, so I'll be able to watch and talk to him there.

I have yummy soup, all I have to do is heat it up when I'm ready to eat.

My parents are being very kind and are coming in to regularly check on me. 🥰

It may be another uncomfortable day. But I'm not mad about it. My body is taking the time it needs to get over this virus 🦠. And I hope soon I will be back at work.

I hope to do more of these daily GIF life updates.

IT'S ONLY DAY 7, HERE?!?!!?

I took another self-test today, still testing Positive for COVID-19, lol.

It has otherwise receded into something resembling allergies, with a wet mucous-y cough for good measure. Runny nose, and a sometimes mucousy throat in need of clearing, and that cough.

I am scheduled to work again tomorrow, but now I have to decide whether to use another sick day again to take the day off, because I am not sure if I'm contagious still or not (I mask and double-mask at work), but

Since the main point of transmission is due to coughing, if I wear a mask, I heavily mitigate my main way of transmitting the disease if I'm still contagious. Of course, I do not want work tomorrow anyway, especially since the one time I cannot wear a mask is when I am eating, and that is potentially highly risky.

Man, what do I dooo... Like I said, I do have the hours, and can still take paid sick leave, lmao.
