Vax had loved Kerry in many different ways over the years, but never would he have thought he’d be so devoted to the man now. They had been married for a little over four years now, and still going strong, and neither could be happier.

Vax was watching Kerry work from the kitchen, the man had old school notebooks around and headphones on so he didn’t bother Vax- not that he’s ever bothered him a day in their lives together. But Kerry was also in his own little world, oblivious to Vax’s staring.

Kerry in his element was so attractive to Vax for some reason, even in their own home, Kerry in sweats and one of Vax’s shirts, and two day old makeup because it had been one of those weeks. And Vax thinks he just fell even more in love if possible.

He pushed away from the counter, putting his mug down. He wanted Kerry’s attention now, he couldn’t just stand there staring at the god in his living room and not want his undivided attention for a moment. Sometimes, Vax was the cat in their relationship.

“Hey- Vax!” Kerry scolded when Vax laid down on a notebook, wincing at the rings digging in his back and carefully pulled it out from under him. He wasn’t an asshole.

Kerry stared down at him, clearly not amused by his husband’s actions. But he loved him! And that’s all that mattered.

And to sweetened the deal, Vax took Kerry’s hand from the guitar and kissed his ring finger. Then the ring itself. Kerry’s hand closed around Vax’s, giving it a gentle squeeze as Vax then went on to kiss the rest of his fingers, then the back of his hand.

Kerry leaned down once he was done and gave him an actual kiss. And Vax fell even harder.
