I'd figure there is not much light pollution wherever you are. I can't imagine how pretty the outside must be.

it is… once you get past the existential dread of the infinite cosmos, it’s actually quite beautiful here. As you guessed, there’s no light pollution here since the radio station is the only building around in many many light years. The sky is so much more colorful than simple black and white. There are reds, oranges, blues, purples, all swirling around in rocks and stardust. And sometimes you can even see creatures floating around in the void. Like a space whale or a turtle! They usually tend to keep away from the station, but sometimes if I’m lucky, a school of these creatures will swim past! When they do I’m able to study them and try to figure out how it all works. How they can swim among the nothingness. I theorize that it has something to do with gravity, which would explain why these creatures are either unbelievably large or swim in groups! Somehow they use their own gravity and the gravity of nearby celestial objects to move themselves around! This is only a theory however and I’m still trying to study them, it’s hard to compare notes when you’re the only researcher around, so take that with a grain of salt. But I still believe it’s a fascinating thing to study. Perhaps if I learn how these creatures maneuver around space, maybe I could learn how to steer the radio station so I can actually go somewhere rather than float around aimlessly! this hope is part of the “personal research” I mentioned last night. I think the only reason I’ve been allowed to remember that part of my research is because being able to move the station could technically improve my ability to study things up close. I have a really big and really effective telescope on the roof of the station, but seeing things through a lens can only do so much. I can only imagine what I could do if I got my hands on a little more of that stardust! If it can be used as a fuel source than maybe I could use it to improve my equipment so the radio waves have an easier time of actually reaching people! The stuff I have here is pretty old school but clearly it gets the job done if I can have listeners and callers, but there’s always room for improvement! I’ll be sure to tell you if I make any breakthroughs in this research, but in the meantime I’ve been able to reorganize my notes on a few old legends on an ancient city that I’m really excited to share! But that will be all for tonight. im glad! I’ve been working on figuring out how to improve my work. I’m thinking of taking multiple calls a night so I’m able to respond to shorter calls like this while maintaining optimal content for listener satisfaction! Stories won’t be as frequent as they used to be since I ended up getting too excited and taking on more than I could chew…so I wasn’t able to do enough research and fact checking as was necessary. leading to the stories not coming out as well as I would have hoped… im also fiddling with how stories should be told in general. Did you enjoy getting to see the stories up close? Or would you prefer to be in the comfort of your room?
