[EN] The town hall in Węgorzewo. Incredibly poorly framed. Couldn't step back any further because there was a park behind me. Didn't have a lens with a wider focal length. Abracadabra, and here we have this. Goodness! I don't even know what I was thinking then. But if someone were to look for how the town hall looked in 2019 a hundred years from now, they'll have something to refer to.

[PL] Ratusz miejski w Węgorzewie. Jakże niesamowicie źle skadrowany. Cofnąć się nie dało bardziej bo za plecami park. Obiektyw szerszej ogniskowej już nie miał. Trachu - ciachu i mamy takie coś. Boże! O co mi wtedy chodziło to sam nie wiem. No ale gdyby ktoś za sto lat szukał jak wyglądał ratusz w roku 2019 to coś tam będzie miał.

I really love how one punch man plays with platonic/familial/ambiguous character dynamics rather than canonical or implied romantic ones. I’m glad I found something which is so interesting and doesn’t cramp in a romantic relationship (even amongst side characters) unnecessarily. And nobody can stop the fanon shipping powerhouses of this fandom, I’m all for it but I really appreciate ONE keeping the relationships open to interpretation. There’s a lovely message in all of these dynamics that human connections matter doesn’t matter what kind. And that is something I really like about opm as a series (both the manga and webcomic). In this context, where do you think ppl like Bofoi and Drive Knight are headed? Because we haven’t seen either of them having any relations at all (even tho they have interacted with Genos and Child Emperor respectively) are they both gonna turn out to be evil or something else entirely? I’d love to hear if you any speculations or theories about them!

All the strong familial + found family + platonic to even queer platonic bonds (all open to interpretation) are definitely refreshing, and the openness leaves room for more fandom creativity, rather than rigidly forcing a certain pair to be seen one way (that not all fans may jive with, cause even ONE's admitted he sees romance in a detached way, and even from m100 I can trust he won't 'use' his girl characters as easy tokens or trophies for the main guys.) Cause also yes, in classic ONE fashion, all those various human connections and dynamics are important for a character's growth. :'3 (One can't gain life experience in a void~) So the range in which their interactions can be seen (rather than setting things in stone) definitely leads to a more enriching reading + fandom experience. :'D

But OHH wait-- ahah, I didn't expect this topic to transition into one about Bofoi and Drive Knight! x'D Cause while they're mysterious loners, and Bofoi himself has good reason to feel paranoid and isolate himself....there's also the other implied message/warning that people in opm who completely revoke their humanity or abandon their grounding connections with others....generally end up turning to madness or monsterizing. :O Whether that means they'll truly turn (or already are) evil I cannot say...but I'm definitely wary/suspicious of Drive Knight - can't trust him, and for all we know Bofoi has a huge robot army at his disposal (but he still helps humanity on his own terms, like when he healed everyone's radiation damage) that he's likely to be framed as the easiest/obvious scapegoat. Especially the more he isolates and cuts himself off from other's support like Child Emperor's (who himself seems to be hurting from the lack of peers and lone burden on his young shoulders...) so honestly I hope we see more incoming context about that and the history from their past apprenticeship.
