My obsession with pirates came, not from pirates of the Caribbean…as much as I love the first three movies…but from captain feathersword And I am unashamed of this fact
not to crosspost from twitter, but having now worked two full days of The Wiggles shows (and been psychically yeeted back 30 years), I would like to point out that, in the game of silly and benevolent comedy pirates, CAPTAIN FEATHERSWORD WALKED SO STEDE BONNET COULD RUN

Okay I want to know, what episode of Adventure Time terrified you as a kid. Was it the one with that deer. That one was traumatic, and that's coming from someone who watched the show when they were 15.
i should probably preface this with the fact that i’ve watched a grand total of two Adventure Time episodes in my life: the one that scared me, and then the Minecraft one years later. i have no idea how old i was when i saw the episode, but i don’t think my age had even hit double-digits yet. point being, i was a very easily-scared child, even more so when i was little, bc i only saw the one scene and had to change the channel, so my memory of it is stark but brief.
and i actually went and looked up the episode for the sake of not relying on a years-old recollection; it was the season two episode “Mystery Train.” i think i had just randomly turned on Cartoon Network to watch whatever was on? and i remember the train went through a tunnel or the lights cut out or something, and when they came back on, one of the characters (i think it was the peppermint guy?) was nothing but bones. and that proved to be too scary for little baby Friday, bc i immediately snatched up the remote to pause it and put on something else haha.
anyways now that i’m much older i’ve been meaning to sit down and watch the series for real, but i haven’t gotten around to it yet. it’s on my ever-growing watchlist, and it’s pretty high up there, but jury’s still out on when i’ll watch it. someday, lol. thank you for the ask!! :D
