This living room was planned in such a way that the view through the large window walls to the rocky hillside outdoors became the dominant element. Works of art and the fireplace attract our attention next, while the furnishing, flooring, and ceiling are subdued. Keith Kroeger and Leonard Perfido, architects. (Photograph: Maris/Semel)
